Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 77 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently experienced severe delivery delays, with many packages arriving several days late or missing entirely. Consumers also reported receiving spoiled, mushy, or moldy strawberries accompanied by melted or tasteless chocolate coatings. People attempting to resolve these frustrating problems found customer service completely unhelpful and extremely difficult to reach. The minority of people were satisfied with the service, mentioning that the fruit arrived fresh, juicy, and well-packaged. Reviewers noted that these delightful sweet treats made wonderful gifts for special family occasions and holidays. Some buyers even stated they would order again because the chocolate was delicious.

My son sent the chocolate strawberries for Mother’s Day. A couple of them were moldy. Packaging was nice but cold pack inside was warm. Very disappointing!!!

Attempted delivery- Did not contact recipient

I placed an order with Shari’s Berries for **two\-day delivery** to a condominium unit that was not gated and had open access. On the scheduled delivery date, I checked the tracking information and was surprised to see that delivery had supposedly been attempted. However, when I contacted the recipient, she confirmed that no one attempted delivery, and she received no phone call, despite my providing her contact information and phone number as required.

When I called the following day for an explanation and status update, the representative could not explain why the delivery was marked as attempted or why the driver failed to contact the recipient. I was then told that another delivery attempt could be made, but it would take an additional two days.

At that point, the original two day delivery promise had become meaningless. I canceled the order and requested a refund.

The lack of communication, accountability, and reliable delivery service was incredibly frustrating. If a company offers expedited delivery, customers should be able to expect that service to be fulfilled—or at the very least, receive a reasonable explanation when something goes wrong.

**I would not recommend this company based on my experience. Save yourself the frustration and consider another company that values its customers’ time and follows through on its delivery commitments.

I got a fraud ping to my bank account…

I got a fraud ping to my bank account for a $500 charge. After that failed, then a $130 attempted charge. The tag i.d. on my bank account from the charge has similarities to the i.d. from this company. I havent use my card outside of anything normal that I typically use it for and for ONCE, I go out of my norm to purchase something from this company and just so happen to have my card info stolen? yeah okay. I didnt even choose to do business with them. A third party shopped my request to them. I only knew it was this business after my card was charged for the original order because the third party keeps the businesses they connect a secret. Sounds like a interesting opportunity for them if you ask me!

I ordered for my daughter's birthday…

I ordered for my daughter's birthday and was guaranteed they would arrive the next day on time fir her birthday! They did not, in fact, her birthday was 3 days ago and they still have never arrived! They said they have credited me 50% of the order price, but that's not showing up either! Every since 1800flowers purchased them, they have gone to the shitter! I would give them a 0 star if possible!

Did not deliver on scheduled day

Did not deliver on scheduled day. I received an email stating that the berries were out for delivery at 9:30 am. Received another email at 7:30 pm stating that a delivery attempt was made but could not deliver. The recipient was home all day and checked her Ring camera videos; needless to say, no one attempted any delivery. Bogus communication and emails. Don't trust this company. I will not do business with them again.

For a perishable gift, this was a disappointing experience, and I won't be ordering again.

The ordering process was fine, but the delivery was a letdown. The original delivery date came and went, and all I got was an email offering 15% off my next order. The next day, the order was marked as delivered, and the delivery photo showed the chocolate-covered strawberries left outside in the sun. On top of that, the business was open, and the driver only needed to walk another 15 feet to hand them to the receptionist. For a perishable gift, this was a disappointing experience, and I won't be ordering again.

I ordered a flower/strawberry…

I ordered a flower/strawberry arrangement as a get well gift for a family member who had been hospitalized. It ordered on a Tuesday and it was scheduled for delivery on Thursday. I received notification notification, even though my telephone number was on the order, and it was not delivered. After calling “chatting” with the company, they were apologetic and said it would be delivered the following Tuesday. She received the original delivery on Saturday and the strawberries were rotted, melted and smelled atrocious. The flowers were leas than fresh😩. The final
Delivery came on Wednesday and the cold pack (that contained something other than water) had burst and ruined the strawberries, which again were melted. They did reimburse my money, but I would NEVER again order from them or recommend them to anyone!

Don't waste your money

Ordered flowers and Berries for my wife's birthday to be delivered on Friday 9-11-2026.
They changed the delivery time 3 different times and then never showed up.
I called because the tracking said it was somewhere between Indianapolis and rock island (300 mile range) and it wasn't going to make it by the 5pm delivery window.
NOBODY would assist me until after the delivery window closed.
Then all fedex said was "you can pick it up on next Business day or we can attempt re-delivery on next business day" (that would be Monday).

I called 1800flower.com they issued me a refund after I told them they can keep the dang flowers just give me my money back and they said we could keep the delivery when it arrived as a token of their apologies...
Fantastic.. dead flowers and moldy mushy strawberries... what a way to say "We're sorry we ruined your birthday surprise for your wife"

Crushed Roses and Rotten Fruit!

My past two experiences using Shari’s Berries were a waste of my money and ruined my event of celebration! I placed an order of Flowers and fruit for my wife and adult daughter this past Valentines Day ($400 +) and both orders were late, flowers looked like trash! Thinking that was a fluke, I placed another order for my wife to celebrate her birthday. I placed the order the Tuesday prior to be delivered on Saturday, Aug 22nd. That Saturday, on her birthday,
I received a message that her order would not arrive until Monday, When my wife finally got here fruit and flowers, the box was crushed, flowers soak and wet and roses looked like a mess. The chocolate covered fruit was rotten. I’m done with Shari’s Berries and strongly suggest you take your hard earned money to a different service!

Anniversary Gift Arrived Damaged — Replacement 5 Days Later

8/20/2026
My husband ordered flowers and chocolate-covered strawberries for our anniversary. I genuinely loved what he selected, which made the condition in which they arrived especially disappointing.

The strawberries arrived not cold with the cooling pack completely melted, and there was moisture throughout the packaging. Because this is perishable food and I had no way of knowing how long it had been outside a safe temperature range, I was not comfortable eating it.

The floral arrangement was also in very poor condition. Multiple flowers were severely wilted and collapsed, several blooms were damaged and falling from their stems, and two roses had bent stems. I had to remove a substantial portion of the arrangement shortly after receiving it. Several hours after being placed in fresh water, the severely wilted flowers had not recovered, and I ultimately had to remove and discard a substantial portion of the arrangement.

I documented everything with photographs and also provided the FedEx tracking history. The package originated locally in Fort Worth, was picked up the afternoon before delivery, remained within the Fort Worth FedEx network overnight, went onto a delivery vehicle at 4:29 AM, and was delivered at 11:21 AM during extreme North Texas heat.

Customer Care agreed to replace the order, but scheduled the replacement for August 25 — five days after our anniversary — without asking whether I would even be home to receive another perishable delivery. I have since received responses from multiple Customer Care representatives, but no one has confirmed that my photographs were actually reviewed or explained how the replacement strawberries will be kept properly chilled so the same problem doesn’t happen again.

I have also repeatedly requested that this be escalated to a supervisor or manager. So far, the responses have continued to come from regular Customer Care representatives.

A replacement five days later addresses the damaged merchandise, but it doesn’t replace an anniversary that has already passed or address the amount of effort required to get this resolved.

I will update this review if management contacts me and handles the situation appropriately. I sincerely hope they do.

Horrible Customer ServiceI ordered strawberries. to be delivered…

I ordered strawberries to be delivered to my mom on her birthday. It showed that the order was confirmed, but never delivered when I tried to call customer service. They gave me some other number to call for fraud which nobody answered then I called back Sherry‘s berries, horrible horrible Customer Service I will never order from this company again.

Same day delivery is a joke!

Ordered for same day delivery for my moms birthday. The order was not received, when I called the next day they said it was guaranteed to be delivered that day so again I waited and it was not delivered the following day. I am now 2 days past the guaranteed delivery date and my mom still doesn't have her birthday gift. Very dissapointed and frustrated, especially since she has been staying home because she was expecting a delivery. I would not recommend them at all - oh and when you call it gives you AI responses then routes you to 1-800-flowers when you try to get a real person on the phone.

Botched and Spoiled Orders

Not only did Shari’s Berries botch my order one time, they botched it twice. Both orders were delayed by FedEx by 2-3 days. When the package arrived, the ice packs were melted, the chocolate on the strawberries was melted and the Bundt cakes were spoiled. They used to
have a great product and reliable delivery but that is no longer the case. Very disappointing!

This service sucks

This service sucks. I got screwed the first time I used this service. It was 2 hours late and the delivery was left at the door, in the summer. Entire delivery was destroyed and I got no satisfaction from this crappy company.
My daughter used it without knowing and the driver didn’t even call until an hour after the scheduled delivery time. Then was almost 3 hours later than the call. When the delivery arrived, it was warm and tasted like crap. Never again.

Skip this business

I was contacted regarding a delivery time. I told them a time and they didn’t show or call until at least least an hour later. Then, the arrangement I received was about $5 worth of over ripened fruit in a plastic bowl. It cost $64. So disappointed.

Not very good.

The cakes were bland. The chocolate on the berries was THICK. The berries were fermented the next day. They were not completely sealed with chocolate. My sister rush delivered these and they were still a day late. Packaging was pretty, the lemon cake was the only cake to have any flavor.
