Alex and Ian, two long-time plant buyers, set up Roots with the aim of bringing gardeners on a trip around some of their favourite nurseries. As much as possible we want a click on Roots to feel like a trip around a nursery. Almost as if you were there with the grower, covered in mud and beaming with pride as they show you their plants, answer all your questions and gives you advice you didn't even know you needed!

I am not one to complain, I probably misread when purchasing, but was a bit disappointed with the size, when stated 40-60 cm, thought the size of the actual plant, but was told on the phone it’s measured from the ground, as my fig tree was only 30cm,

The fig tree was a present. It didn't take long to arrive. The fig tree was well packaged and healthy. It came in a nice pretty box. I thought it was a nice addition.

Beautiful jasmine plants
The two jasmine plants arrived packed very well. They were moist which was great. They look beautiful. I only wish it was easier to remove from the box. I struggled to cut away but eventually got there. I am looking forward to watching them grow. Very happy to recommend and a decent price
