Tamar Coaches LTD Reviews

Have booked Tamar Coaches for many trips. They drove our swimming team to Millfield recently, excellent throughout…..always professional, trustworthy and accommodating. Wouldn’t use anyone else. Highly recommend them if you need a coach.

We had a lovely trip to Dartmouth. Mitch was our driver, and he was very informative, punctual and accommodating. We had 6 hours in Dartmouth which was plenty of tine. Sue and Colin also kept us informed prior to the trip. Looking forward to booking more day trips in the near future. Thank you Tamar Coaches

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to Tamar Coaches for their services during our recent enrichment week. It was a faultless service all week and we would like to give a special mention to our two drivers, Mark and Phil, who really made the trip to Thorpe Park a great success. The atmosphere set on the coach from the drivers can often make or break a trip and their constant positivity and friendly manner with both staff and students was fantastic. Everything was done with a smile and a good dose of humour. It was much appreciated at the end of what has probably been a long season of school trips for them.

Coach aircon was broken although driver had a working fan. Multiple seats had broken parts. Certainly the worst coach we have had on our trip. Fix up this coach asap - TI8 VDL.

I Just wanted to say from all the Kelliwik Golds U11's team, a massive thankyou for making saturdays Cup final trip a success. Tony, our driver, was more than accommodating and went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience for the kids.
Once again Thank you

I used Tamar Coaches as a private hire for a school trip from Cornwall to London for a two day residential and all I can say is how excellent they were from start to finish.

Tom was the person I was in contact with prior to the trip. Nothing was ever too much trouble and communication was excellent. We were able to work out all the details and finalise the itinerary with no trouble at all. Any possible problems with the itinerary due to driver hours were identified and sorted in advance. When it came to the travel itself, our drivers (Kian and Bobby) couldn't have been more accommodating. They were enthusiastic (depsite the 4.30am start!) and communicated plans well. Nothing was ever too much trouble if we wanted to change our plans slightly - get picked up/dropped off at a slightly different location or a slght change to timings. I really felt like they were there for us.

Thanks to everyone at Tamar Coaches for a great trip and I look forward to using you again!

Top marks again to Tamar. We always have Mitch to take care of us. Simply a pleasure to deal with.
we booked a fun group to Heathrow for our Caribbean Cruise on the 11th and back on the 26th. Thank you

We once again booked our coach for our shopping trip to Cardiff ( sat 30 th nov ) and as usual excellent service from booking from the office and having Mitch as our driver which made our day run smoothly would definitely recommend and will be booking again for next year

Tamar Coaches were great from the outset. We used their 57 seat coach for our running club trip to Bournemouth. Booking process was smooth and easy plus generous amount of time to pay the invoice.
Kealan our driver was fantastic throughout the whole weekend. He was spot on with timings, ready when we needed him and police and helpful throughout. The weekend went so smoothly with his and Tamar Coaches assistance

Fantastic service provided by Tamar Coaches. Communication from the outset was brilliant, very quick to respond and helpful. Booking made with ease at very, very competitive prices. Our bus arrived on time for both departure and collection, bus driver was very friendly and professional. Thank you for a brilliant service, will definitely use again!

We used 3 coaches over 3 days to take large groups of varying ages to and from Exeter. The coaches arrived fresh, very clean and on time every day and the drivers were extremely kind and attentive to all the passengers, assisting the elderly on and off the coaches and ensuring the comfort of all those travelling. They were polite and helpful at all times and were also very careful and considerate in their driving. It was a pleasure to travel with them

Excellent company very professional and friendly will definitely be hiring them again our driver Mitch was so friendly and helpful and the coach was lovely

We were meet by a nice clean coach and Sue the driver greeted us looking very smart
During our time on the coach Sue pointed out various points of interests
Sue was very helpful nothing was a problem to her

We recently hired a coach to take us to Brittany for the weekend. Prompt and efficient communications prior to us going and nothing was too much trouble. Our driver Neil was amazing and put up with our quirky ways. We will definitely use Tamar coaches for all out future trips.

Fantastic! We are a small charity that provides experiences for children in year 5 who are in primary schools in Plymouth. John, Tom and his team have been so helpful with supporting us and especially patient with myself and my colleague in coordinating all the trips and visits. We look forward to booking more trips with you over this next year! Thank you.

A FANTASTIC trip with Wicketz, Lords Taverners to Sophia Gardens, Cardiff County Cricket Ground on Tuesday 25th July.

Mitchell the driver was absolutely brilliant, on time, friendly and the coach itself was immaculate!

This is the 5th year running we have used Tamar Coaches to take us all over the country on our Residentials and they've been exceptional every time!

We were a group of 28 members of a Club on a days outing. Journey involved picking people up at various points in the journey (and also delivering them back safely!). Our driver was a very pleasant and friendly young man who from the start made us feel relaxed and confident on the day ahead. We were recommended to use Tamar Coaches and would recommend them to other users. Thank you.

We took 90 infant children to the zoo using Tamar coaches. The drivers were friendly and accomodating. We had good communication from the office througout and they even brought back our lost property for us!
