Anglia UK & their staff member Gareth turned a complete nightmare into a manageable situation. After a family member mishandled funds they were given during my husband's illness. Bills were left unpaid & my account was put at risk just as it was 90% paid off.

Gareth was incredible. He read my case history beforehand, understood my stress & went above and beyond to sort out my paperwork when my finance company didn’t communicate properly. He was empathetic, patient & completely professional.

If you ever hear from Anglia, do not ignore them. They are compassionate professionals who actually want to help you find a solution, they’re not bailiffs & not out to make things harder for you. Dealing with a collections company is never fun, but they are not the enemy. Ignoring them only makes things worse. Reach out, send an email, talk to them. they genuinely have facilities and options to help you.

Driver for collecting car absolutely fabulous, polite, on time, reassuring however the overall experience with the ACM team that sorts the collection/payment need a personality check, re-training and the upmost need to stop bullshitting..

This is in regards to Tony.. whoever toe-knee is he needs to wobble his head!

If I could put a minus star I would, took me ages to get a collection date and finally booked in for today AM collection 3.45pm still no phone call to advise I found their number and called them had to wait for 18 minutes for someone to answer the phone to be told that it is still showing for collection today they will get the driver to call me. 10 minutes later he calls to tell me that his morning collections were cancelled this morning !! I asked why the office told me it was still on for today he said he didn't know and that they leave it to the driver to advise the customer which he hasn't bothered to do, nobody can give me a new date it has to go back to the funder for them to advise which is ridiculous, I work in this industry and think it is the poorest of services no respect for customer's at all, I even said all your reviews speak for themselves and tell the same story what an absolute sham of a company

A prompt quick service the driver was very good and kept me informed of everything he was doing while he was there a very easy company to deal with .

Got the job. Popped up for training what a complete waste of time. First day sat in canteen for 6 hrs received 1hr 15 min driving. 2nd day yet another joke canteen 6 hrs got 1 hr training . Spoke to other drivers. Ya get hammered on ya driving hrs . Then have to do at least 40-60 mins a car. So end up doing 13-15 hrs a day every day. Turned up last day of training hung around 2 hrs lol instructor not in. Can’t work for a company that standard of training. They thought that acceptable. Not surprised they always need drivers ..PPP

Arrived on time, no fuss. Friendly driver.

CAR FELL OFF TRANSPORT VEHICLE

Avoid avoid avoid avoid - this company had already cancelled my collection at the last minute one and this time on the second attempt and after putting the car on the transport vehicle decided my car was too big for the truck provided. The driver then proceeded to reverse the car off the truck which resulted in it falling off and causing extensive damage.

This company is now saying it is my issue to sort after the vehicle has already been transferred over on the V5C to the auction house with my insurance and tax also cancelled.

Utter unprofessional! If there was 0 stars that what I'd give them. First they miss the collection due to TRAFFIC IN LONDON (transport company cannot schedule / predict traffic(!)) then they make an error in the availability, then they say 'we have 30 days and everything is already booked'; pathetic! Never would've chosen myself but stuck with them because of the PCP finance company! Shame!

two weeks now i have been awaiting for a collection and on both days these were AM collections, and both days ended with no collection, one excuse was the driver had too much on, then the second day for collection i was told he had locked his self out of the van, but then get a text 30min later saying he had a blow out!! these are just a group of liars and jokers, i have moved appointments around to suite these jokers and no help what so ever, this is still ongoing now !! i would avoid these cowboys

Driver parked completely across mine and neighbours drive and disappeared for 30 minutes.
Had to call the company to find and get him to return.
Missed a delivery of hardcore and had to pay again.
Inconsiderate and rude.

My experience with Anglia UK has been very frustrating and unprofessional. The operators I spoke with were inconsistent and kept changing what they had previously agreed. Even when I phoned to make a payment and resolve the matter, they seemed more interested in escalating the situation than actually helping me settle it.

Instead of making the process straightforward, they made it unnecessarily stressful and drawn out. It felt like they were deliberately avoiding resolution, which only added to the frustration. Their communication is poor, their approach feels hostile, and they don’t seem to genuinely want to work with you to find a fair outcome.

I would strongly caution others to be very careful when dealing with them and to document everything in writing, as their verbal agreements seem to change from call to call.

Two collections cancelled in a week, the latter being down to "the driver having driven too many hours that day". Evidently, the scheduling team are stealing a salary.

The so-called “enforcement agent” they sent to repossess my vehicle was nothing more than an abusive, aggressive thug. He showed up clearly agitated, escalated the situation, and called me a “spaka” — despite full awareness of my mental health history and vulnerability.

This isn’t just unprofessional — it’s outright discrimination. There was zero duty of care, zero compassion, and a total disregard for basic decency or lawful conduct.

They should not be trusted to operate around the vulnerable or in any capacity representing financial firms. I’ve submitted complaints to the OFR, CIVEA, and am preparing further action under the Equality Act 2010 and Human Rights Act 1998.

If your lender is using Anglia UK — challenge it. They are not fit to operate.
