Proper decent job. I had a burst pipe under the sink out of nowhere. The plumber came round fast , knew what he has doing and didn’t try to rip us off. Would definitely use again.

I had a really good experience with this company. Reliable guys and they came very quickly to fix my problem. I highly recommend them.

Please avoid this company at all costs. I had a blocked toilet so was desperate for a plumber to attend. I found this company online and the reviews on their site were good. I wish I’d looked further. £500 later my toilet was unblocked but my toilet cistern was broken as he said there was a leak. Originally quoted £60 call-out but when he attended I was faced with an email saying charges were £249 an hour. A bit steep but it was an emergency, it didn’t end there though. After nearly 3/4 hour when he’d broken my cistern I told him to stop. The bill presented to me the included hidden items, £68 admin fee and £30 parts as he had to cap my toilet inlet. He wouldn’t leave until I paid which was very intimidating. I just wanted him gone. I am now faced with replacing my cistern (broken in 4 places at least 2 of which he did) so another £300 later today I should have a working toilet. Do not use especially if you are female on your own this company are scammers.

i think this is institutionalised theft. Hourly Rate quoted: £429 (negotiated to get 299) + 60 pounds call out charge + vat + hidden administration fee. i asked not to use chemicals, they used chemicals that my plumber recommended not to use (charging 40 additional pounds for it) total paid £ 574.56 for 45 minutes job where the plumber did not listen to me (the property manager and told me to let him to the job.). he says there is a crack and no blockage, and the pipe was now emptied and could not leak anymore unless they used the water. one hour later it started leaking from the other side of the kitchen that he didi not bother to check as he would not listen to me.

Awful experience they have hidden charges and cost me 403 pounds to change a switch that took 15min. 60 pound emergency fee no one said it was an emergency. VAT of 30% and £199 charged for a 15 min work. Plus a 0.2 hidden fee. Horrible company just a bunch of scammers in my opinion. Do not hire them

The engineer (John) arrived on time. He was extremely efficient and experienced. He clearly explained the issue and what needed to be done. The problem was resolved within half an hour. John was very very courteous throughout.

Also trading as On Call Engineers. Plumber couldn't do the job properly so we did it for him. Company didn't care and still wanted their full £360, which includes a hidden £60 "admin fee". Incompetent and no integrity. Called them quickly to solve a problem and they became a problem instead.

Awful experience with the company.

Called today to see if anyone was available to fix my boiler. I was quoted £60 for a call out fee. Engineer arrived and I had to sign a contract for work per hour at £239 for engineer to investigate. Obviously I felt like they did this as the engineer was already there. I received a final invoice of £430 which included a hidden fee for admin charges, and then VAT. The only charge mentioned to me when I called them was £60 for a call out fee!!! If I had known in advance about the investigation hourly rate I would have said no and shopped around. Engineer was perfectly fine and good and slightly fixed the issue. My real issue is the hidden fees. Company is absolutely milking it. To make it worse they only accepted payment by BANK TRANSFER and wanted immediate payment. Awful experience.

Very disappointing experience and an extremely expensive lesson.

We called them out for an emergency leaking tap on a Saturday. I fully appreciate that an emergency weekend call-out is going to be expensive, and I had no problem paying a premium for someone to come out at short notice.

What I do have a problem with is how the job was handled.

After looking at the tap, the plumber told us it was a relatively small job and indicated that it should take around an hour at most. The final bill was £792.

A considerable amount of time was spent trying to dismantle and repair the old tap. After roughly an hour of trying, he eventually concluded that it couldn’t be repaired and would have to be replaced — which then took further time. In other words, we ended up paying for a substantial amount of time spent unsuccessfully trying to repair a tap that was ultimately replaced anyway.

There also seemed to be a lot of unnecessary time spent going backwards and forwards between our top-floor flat and the van to collect individual tools, rather than bringing up what was likely to be needed in the first place. When you’re being charged emergency plumber rates by the hour, that becomes very expensive very quickly.

The repair itself was completed and the plumber was polite, so I have no complaint about that. My issue is entirely with the efficiency of the work and the enormous difference between the initial expectation and the final cost.

Had I been told at the beginning that this relatively straightforward tap problem could end up costing nearly £800, I would certainly have approached the situation differently.
Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend asking for a clear written estimate before allowing any work to begin, asking exactly what time is chargeable, and keeping a close eye on how that time is being used.
£792 for this job was, in my view, extraordinarily poor value for money.

Our experience was terrible. Quote a call out charge for plumber to literally turn up and then try to charge £339 per hour before he had any idea what the problem was. Nice work if you can scam it.

Excellent response and service

We raised a concern following the installation of a new shower, and the company responded immediately, arranging for an electrician to attend that same afternoon at no extra cost. Johnny, the electrician, did an excellent job and completely resolved the issue. We were very impressed by the prompt, professional response and are extremely pleased with the outcome.

Robert was a Good Plumber. He was quick and helped us fix the flooded sink very quickly although we were very stressed.

Complete scam.

Charged us £74 to come round and just took a picture of the outside of our toilet, despite the issue being the cistern. The office then quoted £250 to fix it, based on that photo. He didn't try to diagnose the issue at all.

Very helpful came to unblock a drainage very quick and professional

The plumber (independent contractor) was lovely but as per other reviews company (Local London Plumber but wefix24office email otherwise - big corporation more like, false advertising !) taking advantage of desperate people with 20% admin charge and then 20% VAT on top as well as increased charges for the work as daytime emergency

Charged over £500 for a half hour job. £70 call out, £70 admin fee and £297 per hour or part thereof. Absolute scam. The plumber himself was very pleasant and helpful, but the company he works for are robbers. AVOID

Fantastic fast efficient two change

Absolute scammers. Used the emergency plumbing service and was charged £1300 for an hour and 20mins work. Pricing is not clear and they dragged out tasks/carried out unnecessary tasks to put them into the second hour (they charge and hourly rate). They also only accept cash or bank transfers, presumably so you can’t take up charging issues as a card dispute!
Avoid using this company. They will unfairly charge you extortionate amounts.
