Review of The Bouqs Company

My "shopping experience was great

My "shopping experience was great- lovely selection, easy web site, super service, happy recipient! One thing a competitor does is sends me a photo of the sent bouquet- the actual one, so I see any adjustments made. I love that, because frankly, I have sent some lousy arrangements via FTD. If you did this, too, I'd have given you 5 stars.

We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed our selection and easy website, and that your recipient loved their flowers! Thank you so much for sharing your suggestion about receiving photos of the finalized arrangement before delivery. So beautiful. Worth every penny.

I ordered the warm pastel "florist's choice" bouquet because I simply could not make up my mind which to choose. They were for my elderly mom on my recently deceased father's birthday. The flowers arrived on time, and were stunning beautiful. I have sent many FTD arrangements over the decades I've lived away and they are rarely satisfying. These are 5 days old, now and talking to Mom this morning, it seems they are still beautiful and fresh looking, some buds just opening. It's so hard not to be with her every day right now. She has dementia, too- moderate- so it's been rough. These flowers make her happy and she tells me about each species in the vase- so I know they are giving her mind something lovely to contemplate. Thank you, truly from my heart.

But is it a blue topaz?

Needing to actually purchase an item before seeing it live is a major downers in my experience. There are a couple of details about the ring we bought that we might have otherwise turned down. 1) the center stone in our Luxe Marina ring is a London Blue Topaz, which to the naked eye seems smaller than then other prominent stones in the setting, which looks a bit odd to more than a casual glance. 2) Of the smaller topaz stones, one sits next to 2 Aquamarines and is so pale that it takes a bit of work to convince us it isn't also an Aquamarine. So that end of the setting lacks the mosaic effect of the contrasting stones and much of the time, I'm certain it is all just wrong.
