Review of Berent Rent a Car
This is a review of BeRent / Benerent car rental at Lisbon airport. This is an absolutely fantastic and friendly Portuguese car rental company. I don't know if they are new but they have very new-looking business premises and a modern electronic paperwork system. Everything was clear, logical, fast, and straight-forward. The only additional advice I can give is to make sure you will have the ability to phone them so they can pick you up from the airport.

Review of CarQ
This is a review of CarQ / Cargini car rental at Athens airport. I have used them three or four times in the last 12 months and every time has been exceptional in all aspects: pick-up, drop-off, car quality, and staff friendliness / process explanation. The only advice I can give is to make sure you will have the ability to phone them so they can pick you up from the airport - but they use WhatsApp also, which helps.

Review of Holiday Autos
One of the first online, and still providing a good service despite the buyout by CarTrawler many years ago. Allows me to select known acceptable companies to filter out the ones i don't want to rent from. The search and booking process is smooth and easy.

Review of bogokey.com
It all worked fine. I got a key by email immediately. However, the website still showed my order as "processing" for the next five days so i thought there was more to come - specifically, i had expected to get a link to download the software. But then i realised that is not needed - I just had to open a MS Office file and then I was asked to buy, or enter my key. I did the latter - obviously - and ten minutes later was on my way editing my old files on my new laptop. (I am actually entitled to use MS Office through a family member's license but this Bogokey way is so simple - and now i don't have to worry about them losing their access).
Review of Holiday Autos
Clear rental options, ability to select supplier and filter out dubious hire firms, reasonable rates. I have used holiday autos many times a year since it was created >25 years ago.
