WARNING: Cross-Border Bait & Switch Scam (USDOT 4437748) – Do Not Sign!

Carshipping Express Inc is a predatory remote broker legally operating out of Halifax, Nova Scotia, that uses fake domestic addresses to trap U.S. customers.Their operation relies on a systematic "bait-and-switch" pricing model:They hook you with a low-ball initial price quote to secure your credit card deposit.Right before pickup, they hit you with a massive price hike—in my case, demanding an extra $600 for a local move. They try to lock this in by sending a completely new, revised contract, banking on the fact that you will be desperate enough to sign it.IF THEY DID THIS TO YOU, DO NOT SIGN THAT NEW CONTRACT!Because you did not sign or accept the revised document, they have zero legal leverage. They are the ones breaching the original agreement. Do not waste time begging their remote customer service agents for a refund.Take immediate action to protect your money:Execute a Bank Chargeback: Call your credit card company right now and dispute the deposit for "Services Not Rendered due to a Fraudulent Price Alteration."Provide the Evidence: Upload your original signed contract alongside the unsigned new contract with the $600 markup. Banks see this as clear merchant breach of contract and will forcibly claw your money back out of their account.Target Their U.S. Authority: Look up MC-1746998 on the FMCSA portal, identify their active $75,000 surety bond provider, and file a claim directly with the insurer using your written documentation. When a merchant accumulates a massive surge of chargebacks for unauthorized price hikes, credit card networks permanently revoke their processing accounts. Do not let them keep your money—call your bank today.
I expect to hear from them regarding my recent posts about their shady business practices. I will update later with what they had to say to me. And, come on....every positive review on here is written in broken English.....what does that tell you? And they all sound nothing like what real customers would write even if it was a positive review.
