Nothing wrong with the old, straight forward system yet now we have to use an app. Not appy !

Went to top up my Tesco mobile expecting to use the straight forward system I have been using for years but then I found I had to download and use the new app. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Nothing wrong with the old system which was easy to use. Got there in the end and topped up but what a lot off hassle.

Thanks for your feedback Robert, and we're sorry to hear that topping up wasn't as straightforward as it had been in the past. We understand how frustrating it can be when a process you're familiar with changes, especially when the previous method worked well for you. We're pleased to hear you were able to top up in the end, but we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and concerns about the new app.

If you need any help or support, please get in touch with us on Facebook, X or via the Contact Us page on the Tesco Mobile website.

AVOID THIS COMPANY FOR RISK OF BEING SCAMMED.

I ordered a score that my wife needed for singing with her choir and it duly arrived within a few days. So far, so good. Then, today, I was hit with a £9.99 "subscription" charge that I knew nothing about and did not authorise. When I Googled, "Is Sheet Music Plus a legitimate company ?" the result was that it is a "long standing company" but goes on to say numerous customers have been scammed with an unauthorised subscription charge That is also confirmed by further reports of that on Trustpilot. I have contacted my bank to request the pending payment is blocked . Avoid Sheet Music Plus like the plague or you are likely to get scammed. UPDATE:- Don't expect to get a reply from them, either - SIX of my emails to them were blocked !

Do packers possess a brain cell ?

On one day I ordered two small items for my grandson's birthday and on another day I ordered a steam cleaner for myself. Three days later they all arrived together in a large paper bag. The two small items were mangled up on the bottom and the heavy steam cleaner was on top of them. How stupid can the packers get ? The two small items have been returned for a refund and I have reordered them in the hope they get here, undamaged, in time for his birthday !

Still won't remove fake review.

Another month has passed and I have reported a fake review to Amazon numerous times. I did not collect the shirt, it was returned automatically for a refund, so how can I review a product I have never even seen ? Amazon obviously have no intention of doing anything about a fake review with my name on it so they are condoning unethical and dishonest practices. UPDATE - after posting this review I received an email from Amazon today saying that the review was within their guidelines and it would stay on. As Victor Meldrew would have said, "I don't believe it". A review is on there that I did not put on. I did not pick up the shirt and it was automatically returned and refunded after one week. I have never even seen the shirt so therefore it follows I have never tried it on, yet there is a 5* review about the shirt and the fit THAT I DID NOT PUT ON. But Amazon are quite content that a FAKE REVIEW " is alright and meets their guidelines". Corruption with a capital C.

FAKE REVIEWS THAT AMAZON WILL NOT REMOVE

And still it goes on. Fake reviews of a shirt that are attributed to me, under my username, but I did not put them on. I keep reporting it Amazon and the auto reply says they will look at it - only they don't. They are allowing false and fraudulent reviews to remain.

Fake, scam, dishonest reviews I did not put on.

I keep reporting false reviews for a shirt that I didn't write on Amazon reviews. Automatic response saying they will look at it but nothing happens. Reported at least five times now and still the false, scam, dishonest reviews are on there. On line chat doesn't cover anything so I just go round and round in circles and get nowhere. It seems that Amazon is happy and condones fake reviews and refuses to delete them. Obviously don't want Bezos to lose a couple of quid from his multi billions.

Can't have food, it's half past three. ( At 25 past !! )

Stopped off intending to have a light meal or snack and drinks on our way home to Cambridgeshire at 3.25pm today. We had only got one foot in the restaurant door when our way was blocked by a very rude assistant asking if we wanted a meal. We said we did. She then replied "It's only sandwiches now, it's half past three". It wasn't, it was 25 past and the menu, clearly states on line that the food menu is available until 3.30pm. But, no, Jobsworth alert, rules is rules, totally inflexible. Stopped at Ely and spent nearly £40 there instead - and we won't be stopping at Baytree again as they obviously didn't want our custom.

Amazon not interested in fraudulent reviews.

I went on the on line chat to report 2 fraudulent reviews that I did not place. I did not collect the items from the collection point as they arrived too late. They were automatically returned after one week and I was refunded. Yet both shirts had a review "from me" on Amazon. Whilst trying to report this as a fraud / scam Amazon just cut me off. Obviously condone fraudulent practice.

Voters list security breach.

I received an email today for confirmation of eligible voters at our address. The page gave the https contact to confirm or update and said "I would need the two security numbers given". I jotted the two numbers down and went onto the website, only to find the two security numbers were already listed and only the postcode was required. Seems to be a security breach here !

FALSE REVIEW THAT I DID NOT PUT ON FOR A SHIRT I DID NOT EVEN BUY !!

FALSE REVIEW !!! I ordered two shirts. Today I checked the reviews for it. There was a review using my pseudonym. It was for a white shirt and I have never ordered a white shirt, only two coloured ones - one black and one grey/green. I haven't even collected them from the pick up point and have no intention of doing so. Dishonest practice here !

Two problems inas many weeks !

As I have banned the Amazon delivery driver from entering our property, after experiencing obscene language from him two weeks ago, I ordered two items to be delivered to our local shop. They were supposed to be delivered on Thursday but then I received an email saying they would not be. The next day, when we were in London, I received an email to say they had been delivered there. No good when I wanted one of them Friday morning ! The package will remain at the shop until next Friday when they can take it back. They have also lost out on orders of a few hundred pounds this week as the items I wanted could not be delivered to a collection point so I ordered them elsewhere.

Who can we trust these days ?

I posted a greetings card from St Neots to a village just outside Peterborough. Sometime during its journey the envelope was opened. I never put cash or gift cards in the mail these days so there was only the card inside -but who can we trust these days ?

Dogs on seats and we left "shoeless".

Visited John Lewis at Cambridge at 1640 on Saturday 6/6/2026 as my wife wanted a pair of Gabor shoes. Don't know if it was a "Saturday girl" serving but she didn't have much idea so we left "shoeless". Also, and this was very annoying, staff allowing dogs to sit up on the seats - the ones that other customers have to sit on - in the shoe department. That is not on. My wife will look elsewhere for her shoes.

Disability discrimination

We visited the toilets at St Pancras Station on 16/5/2026 and were subjected to disability discrimination by one of the cleaners. After returning home I submitted a complaint on 17/5/2026 and received an automated reply. Two weeks later and nobody has responded to my complaint so it would appear they condone such discrimination by their staff.

Scandi Kitchen let down by their courier, APC

My wife ordered some Swedish food from Scandi Kitchen and it was delivered the next day by APC. Excellent service from Scandi but let down by the courier ! We have a notice, right next to the doorbell, that says "Do not leave parcels in the front or back garden," We have a metal sign on the gate asking for it to be closed. So what does APC delivery person do ? Dumps the parcel on the front doorstep and clears off, leaving behind a wide open gate. Not good enough APC.

May as well bang my head against a brick wall !

Trying to get something done about a fraudulent transaction is like banging your head against a brick wall. Halifax fraud department is clueless and after i enlightened them how the fraud was carried out they replied later.....telling me how the fraud was carried out, more or less repeating what I had already told them. Then I told them NOT to make a payment - which they later did. When I was making the original transaction Halifax flashed up a warning saying IT WAS A SCAM. Not asking me if I thought it might be a scam but that it WAS a scam. Even when I abandoned the transaction it still went through and it didn't end there. The same scam artists took another £15.05 which I had not authorised. Customer "service" are equally clueless. Ultimately, Halifax will lose out on a substantial amount of my money when I close my accounts and my wife is closing hers, too.

Review of Asendia

What a cowboy outfit

We sent a parcel from our local post office using DPD . Asendia then took it to Sweden. We very clearly marked the customs label as "GIFT" as it was a 75th birthday present for a female recipient in Sweden. She was extrememy annoyed that she had to pay 210 SEK to get the parcel from Postnord because Asendia had affixed another customs label on it saying it was a SALE. It was not. It was a birthday present. My wife will reimburse the recipient the 210 SEK when she travels to Sweden later this year. So a £36 birthday gift has now cost is a further £26 on top. Because of this we will no longer be sending any gifts at all to Sweden in future because of what Asendia did. DPD are not interested in helping and blame it on the Post Office. Corruption at its worst.
