I rented a BMW 330 i in Kona, HI. Shuttle ride was short from the airport, car was spotless. I booked and checked in on the App that saved time. A small issue at the counter was handled quickly by the staff. Thanks for the great experience.

I had an excellent experience with SIXT at Dublin Airport, from start to finish! The entire process was smooth, quick, and hassle-free. The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and helpful, making the whole experience genuinely pleasant. Collecting the car was straightforward and efficient, with no unnecessary complications. The vehicle was exactly what I had booked, which I really appreciated. All the information provided at the airport was clear, easy to understand, and delivered in a very friendly and welcoming manner.
Returning the car was just as easy. The process was quick and well-organised, with the vehicle's condition checked and confirmed without any issues.
The shuttle bus service back to the airport was also excellent, quick, convenient, and stress-free. A special mention to the driver, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Another big plus was the complete transparency throughout the rental process, no hidden charges, no unexpected costs, and no unpleasant surprises. The entire SIXT team deserves a well-earned 5 stars! It's refreshing to experience such a high standard of customer service, where everything works exactly as it should. I would definitely rent from SIXT Dublin Airport again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, and hassle-free car rental experience.

This was my first experience with this company. The customer service was great. The check in an check out process was fast an efficient. I was able to get the truck that I'd asked for an not something similar. The Suburban ran great an was clean on the inside. My only complaint was the truck wasn't clean on the inside upon pick up. Other than that great experience an I will definitely use them again.

I used SIXT’s services twice in the last month alone—for 12 days in Genoa and 3 days in Catania. My experience was positive in both cases: the cars met expectations, the service was professional, and communication was excellent. The Catania location deserves special praise; upon pickup, I was personally escorted to the car in the garage, and on the final day, I received a detailed email—complete with annotated photos—explaining how to reach the return point (which isn't straightforward due to ongoing airport renovations, especially when one is in a rush). I travel frequently, so I can objectively compare SIXT with the well-known competitors whose names start with 'E' and 'A'; in both instances, SIXT performs just as well as, if not better than, the others. I highly recommend them.

I gave this rating because the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. The staff were exceptionally professional, friendly and welcoming. They offered me an attractive vehicle upgrade, which I gladly accepted, and I was delighted with the car. After leaving the airport, I noticed some minor damage to the rear light. When I returned, the team handled the situation brilliantly and promptly provided me with a replacement vehicle without any hassle. The replacement car was spotless, and everything was dealt with efficiently and courteously. I was particularly impressed by how the team went above and beyond to ensure I was happy, turning a potentially inconvenient situation into a very positive experience. Outstanding customer service, excellent vehicles and a genuinely professional team. Highly recommended, and I will certainly choose SIXT again for future rentals.

Relatively new fleets, low km, well maintained, supportive staffs, no hidden fee, not pushy cross selling, easy check in and check out. I've tried most of the well known car rental provider, and so far only Sixt give me no-drama experience. Not the cheapest, but other cheaper option may have hidden fee and not so-pleasing experience. Overall this the best for me

We were treated well and efficiently when we rented our vehicle from Sixt. The vehicle was clean and ready to roll and we got extra care from the Sixt team helping with some directions - something they certainly went out of their way to help. We feel the value was good for the vehicle and terms. We are halfway through our 3-month rental and look forward to continuing with no hassles.

Extremely disappointing experience with SIXT USA

On 14 September 2026, during our road trip through Arizona, our rental car displayed a “Change Engine Oil Soon” warning with only 7% oil life remaining.

We had specifically paid for both the Peace of Mind package and Extended Roadside Protection because we wanted assistance if something went wrong during our trip. Unfortunately, when we actually needed help, SIXT did not provide a practical solution.

I contacted SIXT twice by phone and also by email. The proposed solution was essentially to drive to a SIXT location in Phoenix, which would have required a substantial detour. We were travelling through remote areas and did not feel comfortable continuing our journey with the warning.

We therefore had to arrange the oil service ourselves and paid $334.80 out of pocket. This also cost us a significant part of our vacation day.

On 17 September 2026, I submitted a formal complaint to SIXT explaining what had happened and requesting compensation, particularly because we had paid extra for Peace of Mind and Extended Roadside Protection.

SIXT subsequently confirmed in writing that the $334.80 would be reimbursed.

Today, 14 October 2026, almost a month after my formal complaint, I still have not received the $334.80. I have also still not received a substantive response to my complaint or my request for compensation.

What makes this particularly frustrating is that there should no longer even be a dispute about the $334.80. SIXT has already confirmed in writing that this amount will be reimbursed, yet the money has still not been paid.

I am now forced to formally escalate the matter simply to recover money that SIXT has already acknowledged it owes me.

For a company of this size, and especially after paying extra for additional protection and assistance, I find both the handling of the original situation and the subsequent customer service extremely disappointing.

I have used sixt for many different reasons and I have never had a bad experience the customer service is exceptional and I would recommend sixt to everyone. There prices are great and the exceptional is fantastic.

Staff were professional, cars were nice and clean, and the pricing was exceptionally reasonable.
Overall experience was really great, I will come back to sixt again and again.
