I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from TMT Central.

While I cannot fault the quality of the work that was eventually completed, the overall customer experience was unacceptable. The company repeatedly missed scheduled appointments without providing adequate notice, causing unnecessary inconvenience and delays.

Communication was also extremely poor. It was incredibly difficult to get hold of anyone by phone, with calls frequently going unanswered or not being returned. For a company providing professional services, this level of customer support is simply not acceptable.

To make matters worse, I was presented with invoices that I believe were significantly overcharged for the work carried out. The pricing was excessive and did not reflect the level of service I received, particularly given the missed appointments and lack of communication throughout the process.

In summary, although the standard of workmanship was good, it does not justify the inflated costs or the poor customer service. I would expect a professional company to honour appointments, communicate effectively with its customers, and charge fair and transparent prices.

Based on my experience, I would be very reluctant to use TMT Central again or recommend their services to others.

Wonderful experience with Ian! he was skilled, courteous and fast, it was a pleasure and I will certainly use again. He hung 3 heavy mirrors for me with their particular mechanism that came with the mirrors. He was also able to replace a faucet head which I had been trying to replace for 6 months (2 other handymen tried but since it's not a typical faucet head they were not able to figure it out, but Ian managed)

I had an amazing experience with Ian. He was very helpful and his work is top tier. Would definitely recommend him!

A difficult job but Ian worked on it diligently and professionally until the job was complete on the damaged door. Looks good as new. As was so tidy!! Great workmanship.

Honestly I was expecting the very worst. Same day emergency call out to fix a patio door that won’t lock.
Best shock was I left a message on an answering service and someone actually called back. Polite. Engaging on this issues I have without making money the first bet call.
Wow.
Then an appointment was made after a few quick whatsapp chats. Then an appointment was scheduled for 3PM. Then rescheduled for 4pm in a timely manner.
3.45pm the workman attended.
He was polite. Clean. Well equipped and had a good understanding of his trade.
He explained the problem.
He showed me the problem.
He prescribed a remedy which I accepted.
He proceeded to execute his recommendation

By this time I had to offer him water.
He advised that the solution was all but temporary and recommended a more sustainable solution at another appointment.

Shock time. I now pushed my luck my showing him many other issues and he gave great advise.

The request for payment came two days after the works.

I now recommend as an all round facility maintenance solution to everyone I can.

I sincerely hope they adhere to this high standard of service in the future.

When TMT asked me to leave a review, I was more than happy. They’ve done several jobs for us around the house, and I’ve been pleased every single time.

What really stands out is their clear, upfront communication — something you don’t always get with builders. They know what they’re doing, and the whole team, from the handymen to the painters, are genuinely great to work with.

Looking forward to having them back for more work soon.
