Contacted Rylee at PFL less than a month before we intended to travel. Permits were selling out fast and we were clueless about the ins and outs of places in Peru. Somehow, everything fell into place... See more

We had a wonderful trip. Everything was excellent from the hotels to the agency people. I will recommend the agency 100%. My agent Ego was really helpful with everything since the beginning.
We loved our trip. Everything was perfectly organized, all the guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and punctual. The organization was perfect and you were excellent in making our trip everything we wished it could be. We met another group of two that was traveling with Peru for Less on one of our group tours and they said the same thing. Excellent.
The accomadations with the exception of the one in Aquas Calientes were top notch.
I had been wanting to explore Peru for a long time, and Peru for less made it a wonderful experience. Planning the trip was easy, The tours were great and informative, the drivers were on time and professional and the hotels were awesome. I had truly great time and would love to go back.
We are home with lasting memories of Peru, and we wanted to share how the trip went.
We traveled with your company from August 22 to September 4, 2026. Our itinerary included Lima, Cusco, Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley, Ollantaytambo, and the Amazon cruise on La Perla. Overall it was an excellent experience.
Hotels. Our favorites were the Pullman Lima Miraflores, Casa del Sol Machu Picchu, Casa Andina, and the DoubleTree in Iquitos. Service was exceptional, the rooms were very nice, and the locations were excellent.
Guides. The excursion guides in every location were absolutely fantastic. They arrived on time, were engaging, and shaped the tours around our interests and physical needs—especially at high altitude. That attention made a real difference.
Transportation and in-trip support. Our travel guide was always there for us and clearly explained the itinerary at each destination. I contacted the Peru travel desk on WhatsApp a couple of times with questions, and they were always quick to respond.
Favorite train. The Hiram Bingham train paired with the Machu Picchu tour was a highlight.
Amazon cruise and Iquitos. On La Perla, the crew and the food were our favorites. There was not a lot to see because of the season, but we still enjoyed swimming in the Amazon with a pink dolphin nearby and listening to the Medicine Woman. I also really enjoyed the Manatee Rescue Center. One suggestion: the ship could use more cabin storage and wifi in the cabins.
Working with you as our Travel Advisor was easy and professional from planning our trip through our return. On a scale of 0 to 10, we would rate our likelihood of recommending your company as a 10.
Thank you again to you and the whole team. Peru is beautiful!
Warm regards,
Kim and Eric
Communication throughout the period leading up to, and during the trip. The sequence of our trip was perfect to help the altitude adjustment.
All transport, guides and drivers were top class! Pickups were perfectly on time and vehicles were in top condition. Guides were very knowledgable. Accommodation was top notch according to our accommodation expectations.
Only change would be to allow an extra night in the Sacred Valley after a Machu Pitchu excursion. The drive back to Cusko was very tough and makes the day very tireing.
Our gratitude to Arianna Roy for putting this tour together for us. We are very grateful! Wonderful holiday!

Hi Arianna,
I just wanted to reach out to thank you for putting our Peru trip together. It was absolutely amazing and everyone from Peru for Less did an outstanding job. I cannot imagine how we would have made our way around without their help and the fantastic job you did of coordinating everything. The hotels were great as well. I cannot thank you enough for making all of this happen. Where to next? 😉

Our trip was great! The guides were organized, prompt, informative, entertaining, encouraging, and attentive. We chose 3 star hotels and they all exceeded our expectations. Our agent listened to what type of trip we wanted and acknowledged our concerns. She planned a remarkable trip for us and helped create memories for a lifetime.

Hello Peru For Less
The following is my wife and my review of our wonderful recent trip to Peru from 8 September to 22 September 2026.
Trip Destinations: Lima > Amazon Planet Eco Lodge > Cusco and surrounding sites > Sacred Valley (Moray & Maras) > Machu Pichu
- All the arranged tours and tour guides were excellent and very informative!
- All the hotels were excellent except the Tunupa Lodge in Ollantaytambo in which the room doors were exposed directly to the cold outdoors and our room had inadequate heating and scant amenities, such as no safe box. However Tunupa's buffet breakfast was excellent, the hotel had free baggage storage and was close to the train station for our trip to Machu Picchu. In addition (to let future travelers know what to expect) the main road into Ollantaytambo from the main highway was closed due to new design/construction activity. The temporary replacement road was pothole ridden and the van ride was a very uncomfortable and jolting experience into and out of the town center.
- Standout moments:
- Lima: The very tasty cuisine tour in the Barranco district with PFL excellent guide, Vanessa. The excellent guided Larco Museum tour. The fun dinners and atmosphere we enjoyed at La Matriarca Restobar near the hotel. The fine lunch of seafood ceviche with Pisco Sour cocktails and chicha morada beverage we had at the Republica del Pisco restaurant (Barranco district). On the last evening of our stay we had dinner at the hotel (Casa Andina Select Miraflores), which turned out to have surprisingly excellent cuisine offerings.
- Amazon Planet Eco Lodge: informative and scenic day and night flora and fauna jungle and river tours with excellent guide Alejandro - in addition to the hike to and interesting tour of the animal rescue center. The meals at the lodge featured tasty/healthy offerings. Due to intense spate of rainy weather we were unable to go to Lake Sandoval.
- Cusco: the city tour, the archaeological tours to Saqsaywaman, Puka Pukara and Pisac were especially scenic and informative! We really enjoyed dining twice at the restaurant, Mare, nearby the hotel in addition to lunching on the balcony at nearby El Cuadro. We also enjoyed the colorful marching bands and music of the Spring Festival celebration at the Plaza Mayor de Cuzco on September 20th.
- The Sacred Valley: the Maras (colorful ancient salt pans) and Moray (the wondrous perfectly geometrically laid out ancient agricultural terraces) tours were very scenic with excellent and informative guidance! by Aracely.
- Aguas Caliente: Our hotel, Inti Punku, had a very nice view of the mountainous environment. We were greeted on first entering the room with a very colorful artistic welcome set up on our bed. We had a very nice lunch at the Chef House Restaurante that featured an atmosphere of scenic views in addition to live entertainment from a Peruvian music trio.
- Machu Picchu: Words and pictures can’t adequately describe the immense magic of riding up to and touring this very majestic ancient archaeological Incan citadel site. We were truly lucky to have had a very richly informative guide, Saul, to unlock the great historical stories and details of this unforgettable place.
Rossy Leon was our travel organizer/advisor, who we gave a most excellent rating. All the aspects of this complex trip were very expertly and smoothly planned out and coordinated by her.
Assistance provided and when needed by the PFL support team was timely and excellent.
Based on our very memorable travel experiences throughout Peru we are more than glad to recommend the top-rated Peru For Less services for anyone traveling in South America.
Very happy travelers!
Michael & Jacqueline Arent
I had the best trip ever going to a destination that was a little daunting for somebody going alone. there was always someone there to get me with a sign with my name at every single stop. all of the guides and drivers were very nice and explained in detail the next steps. it made it easier to travel single and I really had a blast with not having to worry about what another person wanted. it was very freeing to just do what I wanted to do! I will use Peru for less again!!
We booked our Inca Trail to Machu Picchu experience with Peru for Less and we are so happy we did. Everyone throughout the entire trip were wonderful. Rylee, our travel Coordinator, was great with information before the trip, the Guides for our excursions were very knowledgeable and friendly and during our actual hike to Machu Picchu, the guides, porters, and food were the best!
Everything was accounted for in the itinerary which made our trip stress-free. Staff met us at the airport to guide us to the correct locations to check-in to domestic flights and/or took us to our hotels and vice versa. The group and private tours of Cusco and Matchu Pichu were phenomenal and the guides were very knowledgeable and made it a great experience learning about other cultures. We have told many friends and family of our great experience with Peruforless and the customizable itinerary and domestic flights in Peru.
From the very start of planning our Peru adventure, our agent at Peru for Less, Rossy Leon was fantastic. She gave us so much information and kept us updated with everything we needed to know about our trip. Every step of the way on our trip we were looked after by a PFL tour guide. Transfers, pick ups, hotels, the Amazon Cruise were all perfect. Our guides were all very personable, and extremely knowledgeable, no more so than our two guides on the Zafiro Amazon cruise. Walter and Usheil were second to none with their knowledge of Flora, Fauna and Wildlife, along with the rest of the Zafiro Cruise staff, made this an amazing adventure. Thank you PFL, we will certainly be back for our next trip to Latin America.
Rossy with Peru for less put our trip together for us. Although a very busy trip where we were moving frequently from one place to the next, it's what we asked for and she made it run so smoothly! We were always picked up on time and instructions were clear. All of the guides we were paired with were fantastic and very knowledgeable. She was even the one to greet us at the airport when we arrived late at night, so it was wonderful getting to meet her! Rossy put together a well organized and fantastic trip for us. We would definitely use her and this company again.

Bruno was fast to respond! Listened well to what we needed. I’ve traveled with Peru for less before and hope to again soon!
great company . they customized to our needs. Private transportation 90% of the time.
always an agent to call 24 hours
always an agent to receive us at airports.
highly recommended.
Reliability, availability and knowledge of planning a great vacation in the proper order. Maribell was great. We asked for an active vacation and we got exactly what we asked for. (Sometimes exhausting). The tour guides and drivers were always on time and very knowledgeable. There was a problem with our day 3 as an adjustment had to be made due to a plane crash and that made for a very long day that was not very enjoyable. Also one group tour had 4 couples and we had to stop for lunch because it was included in one couples package. That was a bit frustrating. Overall the trip was fantastic.

We are experienced travelers but decided to use a travel group to help us organize a trip to Peru. We shared what we wanted to see in the short time we had available, and Peru for Less presented a wonderful itinerary. Every place where we were supposed to be met for either transport or guide was absolutely on time. Every person was kind and guides for Lima, Cusco, and Machu Picchu were excellent. The hotels were perfect. It made this world wind trip comfortable and fun. We highly recommend Peru For Less. Communication from the first email was fast and courteous.
We customized the trip and also there was a last minute change. But, everything went very smooth. All the guides were knowledgeable, hotels were clean and all of the activities were reasonably arranged. We felt comfortable through the trip.

Pre trip communication was excellent - patience of agent, despite a myriad of questions, smoothness of on-ground logistics. Most of the hotels were well located and good. Guides selected were great.
