Always found Trainpal app very good, ease of booking tickets, no booking fees, price hunter, regular updates when a train is late or delayed all good. But it's the rail companies that let the passengers down, recently booked a trip on TPE for our anniversary i thought we would travel 1st class for a bit more luxury, how wrong and disappointed i was, the train we travelled on came from Liverpool to Cleethorpes, boarded at Meadowhall only to be told there was no 1st class service on the second part of the journey 😡 surely they could replenish stocks at Sheffield ??? So we had a near 2 hour journey with no refreshments, but I have paid TPE for a 1st class service that's non existent complete waste of money. Surely they know about this, and wouldn't this contravene the trades descriptions act ? Now I will think twice about 1st class travel. This won't stop me booking through Trainpal though

I have only just started visiting Pavers shoes at Parkgate Rotherham, recently bought some nice men’s shoes which were discounted by £45 then last week I bought a pair of Skechers walking trainers which are really comfortable on the feet, also discounted by as well. I particularly like how the shoes on display are categorised by sizes, not one pair of shoes on display so you have to ask at the desk if they have my size

We visited the Skopes store in the Lakeside village Doncaster for a new suit for myself, what a fantastic shop, plenty of choice, well I was spoiled for choice. Eleanor the sales assistant was really helpful and attentive, prices were really competitive and with the added bonus of Black Friday discount on certain items it was a great afternoons shopping

Unable to buy a black suit in any high street store where I live, I decided to have a look at Dobells website, they had just what I was looking for I chose the un-hemmed trousers to go with the suit so I could have them altered to my liking, cheap postage and was delivered in 3 days, what’s not to like fantastic service

My dash cam developed a fault after being fitted by my VW dealer, I returned the car to them to deal with but they referred me to Nextbase, I contacted them by email saying when the cam is removed from the car it keeps beeping and switches itself back on, and received a reply saying they would deal with my query within 72 hours. I received a response the next morning stating what the problem was and how to address it. Turns out it wasn’t a fault I just got the settings wrong but Ash was spot on with his diagnosis and now it works perfect

We visited the Drakehouse store in Sheffield looking for a New Suite, we were greeted by a members of staff called Carl, asking if we needed any help but did not pressurise us any way like most retail stores do.We saw a suite which caught our eye and asked Carl if he could give us some more information about the items, we decided to think about it overnight and go back the next day which we did,but it was about 5.00 so we sat in the chair and sofa testing them out for comfort etc, when Carl came by again asking if we liked the suite,unfortunately he was just going home but said he could do the paperwork as he was not in a rush, he gave us the full run down on the costs/finance,extras,delivery times & how the suite can be dismantled for removal purposes which was very useful as we are moving house shortly, everything was explained in detail and very clearly.The Taurus suite we have bought was reduced in store and looks to be a fantastic bargain, so nice not to feel pressurised in a shop when you are unsure of what you are looking for.

i visited the mazuma website to get a idea on what my phone would be worth,i was a little bit cautious about sending through post and what they would offer me,but i was pleasantly surprised of the offer so much i decided to trade in 2 old phones,i could,nt believe how much money the phones were worth sat in my drawer.i found their website very user friendly,if you do get stuck or unsure about anything there is a contact number to help you through.the self addressed envelopes and delivery/confirmation of valuation note arrived 48 hours later,it is a free post service,however you do have an option of different postage options,i chose the recorded signed for delivery,which cost me £5 but bearing in mind the value of the phones, the postage cost included royal mail insurance and a tracking number,a good deal in my opinion.once mazuma received the phones they emailed me that they had received them and that they would process them i.e. check that they were working as i had said,then i got another email saying everything ok and i would receive payment shortly,from contacting them to payment it took about 7 days allowing for the post.you also have an option of different types of payment,cheque,direct paymentand argos vouchers to which you get a bit more money/vouchers.
i found the service a excellent easy process with good communication and will certainly use them again.
