Wow! How can Ocado have so many terrible reviews and keep trading in the same way. I'm super disappointed and will be looking for alternative delivery companies. Not worth payment for delivery when... See more

I have been a customer for years, always had amazing produce,I contacted the "Instant chat" thing and advised them I had Tins of produce with dents in the can,The answer i got was what do you want to do,also the advice was if there is leakage from the cans ,do not use, i advised them I did not want a refund ,just to advise them Four cans dented! I assumed a big establishment would insist on a refund,Shocked really,Waitrose and Amazon are so customer focused.
While I really appreciate the service (when I can make it work) their online login software is a nightmare since they 'upgraded' it...so sick of seeing 'you have exceeded the login limit - try again later' or, put it another way, give the order to Morrisons...
After more than 20 years as an Ocado customer, I am closing my account. Not because of poor deliveries, missing items or rising prices, but because of a business practice I find utterly unacceptable.
Ocado has been repeatedly adding products to my orders that I no longer want, apparently based on my previous shopping habits.
In my case, it's Evian water. Not the odd bottle, either. FOUR packs of FOUR bottles. SIXTEEN bottles at a time. Repeatedly appearing in my trolley through Ocado's automated shopping features, despite my having stopped deliberately ordering them.
Think about that for a moment. A supermarket that quietly adds products to your basket based on what you used to buy, leaving you responsible for spotting and removing them before you're charged.
Whose interests does that serve? Certainly not the customer's.
The whole point of online grocery shopping is convenience. I shouldn't need to conduct a forensic audit of my trolley every week to make sure I'm not paying for things I never intended to buy.
For ages, I assumed I'd made mistakes with my orders. I blamed myself. It genuinely never occurred to me that Ocado's own systems could be responsible for repeatedly putting unwanted products into my trolley.
I find this practice disgusting, reprehensible, and offensive on so many levels.
Its a shame Ocado don't let you use a Klarna one time card to spread the cost over 3 months. I was so excited to order some Christmas goodies and things I can't get elsewhere but my order was cancelled on the day and I tried again and it was again cancelled. I don't really understand the reasoning since most places I shop online allow me to use Klarna. I also think because the minimum spend is £60 it should be reasonable to allow the use of Klarna.
Absolute rubbish
You need a password that containes
A number
A special character
A capital letter
A lower case letter
FFS it's easier to get into fort Knox
Will never use them again
Even when you try to log in for the first time....it says too many login attempts.
PATHETIC
Thank you to the Ocado driver and the man I spoke to on the phone. It was my fault when I didn’t hear the doorbell ring. The order was then delivered efficiently after sorting out my error. The customer service was excellent, thank you both.

Our delivery slot was 9.30pm to 10.30pm. By 11.30pm nothing had arrived and we'd heard nothing from Ocado, so we called them ourselves. Only then were we told the driver had cancelled his last three orders, ours included.
Nobody thought to let us know. No text, no email, no call. I sat waiting an hour past the slot, I have a young family to feed in the morning and no food in the house, only to find out the order was never coming.
A late delivery happens. Cancelling and leaving customers to discover it themselves is a different thing entirely. If we hadn't chased it, we'd still be waiting. For a company that sells itself on reliability, this was a complete failure of the most basic customer care.
We've relied on Ocado for our weekly shop, but after tonight we'll be looking elsewhere.

I rely on deliveries as I live in the middle of nowhere and ordered from Ocado with a delivery tomorrow 8:30-9:30. At 5:37 I received a notification that my order was cancelled, I looked and did not understand why, then realised my card hadn’t changed due to being scammed. I quickly changed it and re-ordered within minutes, I lost offers and had to try and find new items went into the slots and nothing other than 4-5.
I called to speak to someone as the slot couldn’t have gone and was told it’s all out of their control. I asked to speak to a manager as my partner in 74 and not well and really needed an early delivery of some kind. I was told it was out of their control. This is a terrible system, if this happened at Christmas or on a special occasion it could be devastating. A simple notification could have stopped this from happening instead of just cancelling someone’s weekly food delivery. Extremely poor customer service

My pass renewal runs out this month will I be renewing it,NO. Was putting up with damaged products, lots of stuff out of date. Put up with that but today found out all delivery dates have gone. Not one message about dates. Terrible how they treat there customers who pay a premium for the annual pass. Oh yes they sent me an email stating the annual pass was increasing. I’ve got an order coming tomorrow, that’s being cancelled as is the annual pass. Cannot understand how M&S use this company for delivery. I wonder why Ocado are so much in debt. Waitrose here I come.

Absolutely terrible I will never be shopping at Ocado again. I spent £95 for all my food to come either damaged or mouldy or crushed , this is unacceptable and they refused a refund to me

Ordered Naty pants to try on my toddler and absolutely love them. ( size 8 for reference). Good price/value for money. No rashes, no rips, overall really pleased.

Normally my experience is excellent. Only a small issue but a matter of principle me thinks. Charge me gbp1 because my total order was 90p inder their damm order (gbp75 on groceris now considered a small order- inflation out of control). Anyway reason for my order not quite reaching the minimum accepyable irder vale due to missing and unavailable items. i.e. they penalise me gor their failures. Only gbp1. but my gbp1. Maybe next time I will use Tesco. Did consider teling the driver to return the order bu didn't want to cuy of my nose to spite my face. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Wow got my 1 gbp refunded, coming in 10 fays!. so you are upped to 4 stars. kept one star because you nicked my 1gbp in the first pave. Do not know why you get poor ratings generally as I normally get very good service.

Lots of positives for Ocado but their big downside is lack of availability of products. I've been trying to order Gold blend coffee for a week and part baked baguettes but they are slow to restock. Special offers and budget range are very poor compared to Sainsbury's. Delivery is great.

Not their usual standard - I’ve been receiving deliveries in the last month with missing items and no suitable alternatives could be found. Yet the item is either in stock on the website and always an alternative when I click. I guess Ocado expect me to not eat that day. This means having to spend extra money elsewhere which isn’t what online shopping is for.
I pay for Smartpass and rarely get the free gifts. I was so excited to be offered one last week. Yet today it was out of stock and no suitable alternative found. How disappointing! I think I’ll stop using Ocado.

First few deliveries were ok not outstanding service just ok. Then delivery slots not being adhered to either late or in most cases far too early, had one delivery driver turn up a hour and 15 minutes early. Add to this all the damaged products you have to keep reporting and then being questioned on, not worth the hassle.
The final straw was on one delivery the obnoxious driver literally smashing and banging on the door with an object. When I answered the door I asked the driver what he was doing he completely ignored me and my partner and just left in a hurry leaving 2 tote boxes behind. He reversed at high speed mounting the kerb has he did so. The issue was raised with Ocado’s insurance department due to damage caused to front door. Ocado declined the claim basically saying the damage to the door was historical and they basically didn’t believe me.
Me and my partner are also disabled and Ocado don’t take disabled people’s disabilities into account shop elsewhere say yourself the hassle and poor customer service.

Ocado used to be fantastic but now there is always a problem every single delivery.
Most of the time items are damaged in transit or arrive leaking, the most common leaking item that I have found in my shopping is Dettol laundry cleaner which has leaked all over my food shopping on more occasions than I can count now. There has been occasione when the Dettol laundry cleaner is literally leaking all over my doorway and hallway floor as I'm being passed it by the driver which leaves me with a huge amount of clean up to do which can be difficult for me as I have autoimmune & mobility conditions but I have no choice but do this properly & instantly no matter how I am feeling as I have pets in the house that could step in it or lick it... I have complained about this on many occasions but nothing changes, always arrives leaking so I have no choice but to stop purchasing at this point as it is just not worth the stress & the effort/trouble of cleaning & calling only to keep repeating myself time & time again.
Also there are times that I am genuinely shocked by the state that some of the vegetables & salad arrive in, they arrive mouldy rotten and ready for the bin.
I'm loosing faith in this company as it has gone so far downhill since originally signing up with them.
Also they charge you for many bags but I've noticed that on arrival the drivers seem to pile items from some bags into others before passing them to you even though you are charged for the bags that they end up walking away with.
Get your act together Ocado, this is NOT acceptable.

19 items missing from my order, grapes which were on the turn, had signs of mould. Nectarines had bruising from being bashed about. Short use by dates. Won't be using again.

impossible to navigate. cannot add or remove items to shop...very odd site. they could learn a lot from tesco!
