I recently made two purchases from Hennie Heynes in one go, and I thought I’d share my experience.

Firstly, thank you to the team for the speedy delivery and the communication throughout the process. It’s always appreciated when a company keeps you updated and provides good customer service.

My first purchase was the NEX tool SO, which is a great little addition to my keyring. It’s compact, practical and includes useful features such as scissors, making it handy to have with me wherever I go. I’m really pleased with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a small keychain tool.

My second purchase was the ‘True’ key petrol lighter, and unfortunately, this wasn’t quite the same experience. I had to continuously strike the flint to get it to light, which soon left my thumb feeling rather sore.

As a long-time Zippo user, I decided to see if I could improve it. I removed the small amount of cotton wool inside the chamber and fitted a new Zippo wick, along with a healthier amount of cotton wool. Thankfully, this made a noticeable difference and got the lighter working much better.

Although I was disappointed with the lighter in its original condition, I don’t believe this is a reflection of Hennie Heynes as a company. It certainly won’t stop me from shopping with them again. The delivery was quick, communication was good, and it’s clear that they care about the products and their customers.

I’m very happy with the NEX tool, and after a little adjustment, I managed to get the lighter working as I wanted. Overall, I’m pleased with my purchases and will happily continue supporting Hennie

Good selection of edc's, uk friendly carrie's folders and blanks. Among other edc accoutrements. Good place if stuck for a gift for a Man who has everything, you can never have to many pocket knives.
