I ordered a phone on 9th September after chasing for a month getting same automated email saying we will check with warehouse,I had a call to say they didn’t have the phone I ordered did I want a different phone,took a month to mention this,but was offered a pristine phone instead of an excellent phone which I received 10th October,it turned up dirty with lots of dents on the sides,paint splashes,the screen has about 9 scratches,policy states pristine phones have no scratches on the screens,I emailed company to tell them about phone,as all the checks had not been carried out,received an email back with a returns address that’s it !!this company is awful,poor communication,they lie and they couldn’t care less,wouldn’t buy a thing from them again !arse holes and money grabbing

I wish I had read these reviews before buying my iphone 16 pro 256GB from this company on 29 September. It is now 14 October and the phone still has not be dispatched. i chased on 4th and 7th and was told both times that they would "provide an update soon" and that would "aim to dispatch it this week". I called them on 12th and they said they'd call me back within 1-2hrs once they had checked with the warehouse...no-one called back. I therefore sent an email on 12th October and requested a refund. On 13th they responded saying the same thing about getting an update soon and it would be delivered by the end of the week. I responded saying that I have heard that too many times and considering its still not dispatched over 2 weeks since the order, I just want a refund. I have not heard back yet so I am currently raising a dispute of the transaction with AMEX considering I have paid for goods but have not received them. I hope AMEX will be able to help get my money back. Please avoid this company- its not worth the hassle

No info about the delivery, over month after the purchase. Still not sure if this was a scam or a legit shop.
No proactive communication towards me. Whenever I ask about the status, they say they will follow up their warehouse team, but nothing ever happens.

They sent us the wrong phone and, despite returning it promptly, a month later they still hadn't issued the refund. Communication has been terrible throughout, with little to no progress made despite repeated attempts to resolve the issue.
What should have been a straightforward return has turned into a nightmare. We've now been left with no option but to pursue the matter through my card provider to recover my money.
Mistakes happen, but the real test of a company is how they put things right. Unfortunately, our experience has been one of incompetence, poor customer service and an unacceptable delay in issuing a refund. We would strongly advise others to avoid this company.

Scam or incompetence ?
I ordered a refurbished iPhone from Smart Cellular. It had not been delivered a week after ordering even though “next day delivery” was promised!!
Given the delay I cancelled the order and am waiting for a refund 3 weeks later.
Stay away from this retailer, seems like either a scam or completely incompetent.

This company is a SCAM. Need be shut down.
Never received my phone or refund all I got was let me check with warehouse and we will get back to you in a couple of hours to which they did not !! Clearly don’t the goods as never received a a dispatch email .

Avoid it’s a hustle
I was a little bit worried about selling my old iphone13pro through this process but thought I’d give it a go anyway given that this seems to be an established way of selling old phones. What could go wrong?!

My experience seems to be the same as so many others 😞
My phone was in ‘good’ condition using their guidelines not excellent but certainly not poor.
It was originally valued at £182. After sending it I got a message back saying it was in poor condition citing all sorts of issues e.g the speaker outlets were not properly cleaned. This is something I think they are far more equipped to deal with. It also does not state that you have to clean these,
and dents and scratches to the back of the phone which are untrue. I photographed my phone as proof
The phone spent its life in a quad lock case which is about as robust as you can get.
It did have scratches on the face which is why I declared it ‘good’ rather than excellent
They offered £45 pounds which I rejected and asked them to return my phone. They then upped the offer to £65.
They said if I still want it returned I would have to pay £10.35.
Angry at myself for falling into this trap.
Avoid them.. it’s a hustle

Very poor experience – two faulty phones and no meaningful resolution.
Very poor experience – two faulty phones and no meaningful resolution.
Very disappointing experience with Smart Cellular.
Our original order was delayed and had to be chased. When the phones eventually arrived, both had faults.
The purple iPhone repeatedly switched itself off despite showing plenty of battery charge. The battery subsequently expanded, creating an obvious safety concern, so we stopped using the phone and returned it to Smart Cellular under the 24-month warranty.
The white iPhone also arrived with a faulty side/power button, which affects functions including Apple Pay. This was reported shortly after delivery.
Smart Cellular initially responded and confirmed they would check the status of the replacement purple handset and address the fault with the white phone. Despite repeated follow-ups, however, no replacement, refund or substantive resolution followed.
I eventually requested an immediate refund for the returned purple phone and set a clear deadline. That deadline passed without a response, despite Smart Cellular having both the faulty handset and my money.
Unfortunately, what should have been a straightforward warranty issue has turned into weeks of chasing. Receiving two faulty phones was bad enough; the lack of follow-through and communication afterwards has made the experience considerably worse.
I am now having to pursue alternative means of recovering the cost of the returned handset.
