Poor

had high expectations, was left disappointed. I can’t believe my Air India journey was 10x better than my Air Arabia. There were NO TV screens on my long haul flight, and NO free food. The food was chargeable, and god knows I wish I starved bc it was DISGUSTING. My planes were BOTH delayed and my 15 hour journey quickly turned into a 20 hour one. I was so disappointed with this air line, and will not rush to fly with them again.

Made me pay a booking change within 24h of the initial booking

I booked a round-trip flight with the wrong return date my mistake (Nov 5 to Dec 12th instead of Nov 5th to Nov 12th).
The UI confused me and I didn't realised until 2 hours after receiving the booking confirmation (my mistake of course, but I was exhausted because of my 10 months old baby).
Despite the fact that I realised the mistake less than 24h after booking, the company refused to change the flight date and waive the change fee. Most airlines have a 24h free cancellation policy or at least have a 24h modification policy as mistakes happened. Despite calling the support twice, they did not bother helping or understanding the situation and made me pay the fare difference. Although it was my mistake, I am very disappointed by the way they handled the situation. This happened to me with another airline many years ago and they helped modifying the booking at no extra charge. It was my first experience with Air Arabia - I'll avoid booking with them in the future because of this.

Horrendous and rude customer service

Horrendous and rude customer service. I asked the English language phone customer service through the Austrian number for wheelchair assistance and whether I would be charged for this - he was rude and wouldn't tell me. He told me to call the airports that I would be flying from and to myself and ask what it would cost - absolutely ridiculous customer service at a level that I've never experienced in my 4 decades of flying.

Very very bad experience.not helpful air craw.i fly with baby and I need warm water for making milk and one craw member told me sorry it’s not our policy to give you warm water after that I asked another crew and she gives me warm water but taking very long time. Not good service and when i fly from Dhaka to shajad airport i have to pay for my luggages.and before I fly called and chat with them they will confirm i can use two languages.just I can’t overweight. So when I fly I use two languages and when I fly from Dhaka the they are charged me for extra luggage and their behaviour so bad. They don’t know how to behave with people.so I recommend don’t fly with airlines

Avoid this airline

Avoid this airline. Firstly poor customer support. Secondly they offer you the refund for cancelled trip (it's literally written Refund option) but turned out that this Refund means voucher that has half of ticket price. Dark design. They just earned 150€ from me, because I don't know how would I ever use their voucher.

Very nice business AirArabia

Very very worst experience and rude…

Very very worst experience and rude behavior by the staff. Cheaters and allowing to book more seats (100 more) than the available seats and randomly rescheduling for different dates with more layovers for the passengers without prior notice just couple of days before travelling. Rude behavior by the staff.

Air Arabia avoiding EU flight delay claim (EC261)

Our flight was delayed and connecting flight from Sharjah left us. This was July 21 so we had to overnight for the next day flight at 1400hrs. For this delay, Air Arabia has to compensate each passenger EUR600. We tried filling the form EC261 but the system rejected our PNR number. Air Arabia had deleted the number to avoid this claim. We are sending the case to EU Consumer Association Act for legal acts.

Another issue onboard, I was sitting in the Middle and a young Indian man was trying to grope/touch me at the side by folding his arm and was constantly scratching/touching his private. I do not recommend a mixed seat arrangements on this airline especially with Indians. Please check who you are sitting next with.

Air Arabia

Air Arabia: “Your case has been handled.” But what was actually resolved?

I submitted a complaint to Air Arabia and received a notification stating:

“Your case #16765640 has been handled.”

That was it.

No explanation. No decision. No information about the outcome of my complaint.

What concerns me is not simply the original issue, but the way the customer complaint itself has been managed.

How can an airline consider a complaint handled without informing the customer of the outcome?

An automated case closure is not the same as customer service.

I am still waiting for Air Arabia to provide a clear, substantive written response.

I hope the company will take this opportunity to clarify its position and address my complaint properly.

⭐ Very disappointing experience

⭐ Very disappointing experience

Air Arabia changed the baggage information on my booking without notifying me in advance. My original booking showed 2 checked bags of 20kg each, and I had screenshots and documentation as proof.

At Gatwick, staff initially questioned the allowance but accepted it after I showed my booking. However, at Colombo airport, the staff refused to recognise the same allowance and I was forced to remove and discard belongings.

I contacted Air Arabia afterwards and provided proof of what had originally been shown on my booking, but they refused to accept responsibility and maintained that my original allowance was only 20kg/1 piece.

The most disappointing part was the lack of transparency and consistency. If information on a passenger's booking is changed, they should be notified in advance. Having proof of the original booking but still being left to deal with the consequences was extremely frustrating.

I would strongly recommend keeping screenshots and all documentation when booking with Air Arabia.

I wish to mention about my experience of a supervisor Ms Malak on flight yesterday. She is a true human being , so gentle, down to earth, and worthy for a great career ahead. It was pleasure flying Airarabia with Malak and her team yesterday Mumbai to Sharjah G9402.

Appalling customer care and unethical wallet forfeiture during regional conflict

I am deeply disappointed by Air Arabia’s completely inflexible and tone-deaf handling of my travel wallet balance. During a period of intense regional conflict, when safety concerns necessitated fleeing to my home country of India with my children, my travel credit expired.
When I requested an extension of the general wallet balance, which is legally and practically meant for any destination , Air Arabia’s customer relations team and local consumer authorities hid behind a baffling excuse: they claimed the airline was technically "open" to a completely unrelated destination (Addis Ababa).
This logic defies basic common sense and human empathy.

Misrepresentation of Wallet Utility: An Air Arabia wallet is a general credit, not a restricted voucher tied to one specific route. Expecting a mother fleeing a conflict zone with children to take a leisure trip to an unrelated country with restrictive visa limitations (such as a 1-month tourist limit) instead of returning safely to her home country is absurd.

Deflection Over Safety: Using the technicality that a random airspace or route "remained open" ignores the reality of regional safety risks, border volatility, and the impossibility of routine travel planning during a crisis.

Failed Regulatory Escalation: Even after taking this through official channels (escalating from DCA to Sharjah customer care), the airline’s final stance remains an unyielding, bureaucratic refusal to show basic goodwill.
Retaining hard-earned customer funds under such extraordinary, force majeure circumstances is entirely unethical. If you are considering booking with Air Arabia, be warned that in times of crisis or unexpected geopolitical upheaval, corporate policy matters far more to them than human safety or basic customer fairness. Avoid relying on their "wallet" system, as they will gladly penalize you for circumstances entirely beyond your control.
