From $6,120
Aluminum | Manual louvers | 10×10 – 13×19 ft
Freestanding or wall-mounted
Which Hansø pergola to buy, what each costs, and how buying one works.
Hansø sells three aluminum louvered pergolas: the manual Pro+ from $6,120, the motorized Horizon from $7,488 and the heavier Apex from $11,950, all at 10×10. Most people should start with the Pro+, and pay for the Horizon if they want a motor or live with heavy snow or hurricanes. Expect to wait 10 to 14 weeks after you pay, and read our Hansø review for what owners say before you order. One promise on Hansø’s site is narrower than it sounds, and it’s covered below. Hansø runs promotions often, so check its site for the current price. A comparable PergoLux costs about $2,000 less at 10×13.
The Pro+ is the manual model: you turn the louvers with a hand crank, and there’s nothing electrical to wire. Hansø rates it for 72 to 120 mph winds and 25 pounds of snow per square foot, which covers most patios.
The Horizon adds a motor you control from your phone or a voice assistant, with a rain sensor as an option, and a much stronger rating: 165 mph and 60 pounds of snow. It needs an outdoor outlet at the pergola. The Apex is the same idea with a heavier frame, rated for 167 mph and 65 pounds, and it’s the only one that goes past 13×19. Buy it for a very large space or the strongest frame Hansø makes.
Hansø builds every pergola to order. Its help center gives 10 to 14 weeks of production for the Pro+, counted from when your payment or financing is approved, and the kit then ships by freight to your curb. Cancelling is free for 7 days if it hasn’t shipped; after that Hansø keeps 15%.
The 100-day money-back promise is the one that’s narrower than it sounds. It covers a kit that’s unused and in like-new condition, and Hansø takes 15% plus the shipping out of the refund, so it isn’t a trial you can install and live with.
The warranty covers the frame for 10 years, the louver mechanism for 5 and the motor and electrics for 1. You must register within 30 days of delivery, it doesn’t transfer if you sell the house, and labor isn’t included.
Hansø says two people can put one up in one to three days with basic power tools, plus time for anchoring and wiring. Its white-glove installation service takes one to two days, is offered nationwide and is priced by size and site. Neither covers the concrete base or the electrical hookup; the motorized models need a licensed electrician.

The Pergola Kit’s editorial assessment, reviewed Oct 12, 2026. Not a manufacturer claim.
At 10×10, the manual Pro+ costs about $6,100, the motorized Horizon about $7,500 and the Apex about $12,000, before delivery and installation. Larger sizes cost more, up to about $28,000 for a 13×26 Apex. Hansø often runs promotions, so check its site for the current price.
Owners mostly think so: Hansø averages 4.4 stars from about 1,150 Trustpilot reviews, with praise for solid frames and helpful staff. The common complaint is delivery running months late. Our Hansø review covers what owners love and complain about.
Hansø describes itself as an American company that works with outside manufacturing partners and ships from US warehouses. It doesn’t say which country its pergolas are made in.
Yes, all three come in a wall-mounted version at the same price. Hansø’s warranty doesn’t cover water getting in where the pergola meets the wall, so seal that joint carefully, and ask Hansø to confirm in writing that your wall-mounted kit is covered.
Yes. Hansø also sells retractable awnings, including electric ones that mount to your house, with their own warranty terms. We don’t cover awnings on this site yet.
PergoLux, for most people. It costs about $2,000 less at 10×13 and you can return it after it’s installed. Hansø is better if you need something bigger than 13×19 feet. PergoLux vs Hansø compares them side by side.

The Early Bird is the only Hansø deal on the 10×10 Pro+ that undercuts Pergolux's manual Pergola 4, but its free installation voucher only works with Hansø's own installers.
