Engine i purchased was supposed to have 80k on it they did a bait and switch pictures i approved was not the engine I received so I look up bionic auto parts that was on the shipping receipt and there and behold the Engine i was supposed to get was on there website i verified this from the pics I approved say stock number on the crankshaft pulley and come to find out the engine had 148k not the 80k they told me when I called to explain they kept beating around the bush not honoring the 30 day money back guarantee and now they don't want to answer the phone was supposed to get a email for shipping to send this wrong engine back o and the engine they sent was not compatible with my vehicle I would STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A BROKER NOT A PLACE THAT HAS ANYTHING IN STOCK STAY AWAY

You’re right: the engine that arrived was not the unit you approved in the photos. It wasn’t a substitution. While your order was being prepared for shipment it was tied to the wrong stock number, and the unit under that number shipped instead of the one you approved. That mistake is ours, we own it completely, and we had already begun correcting it at no cost to you before this review was written — the pickup is arranged, the Bill of Lading was emailed to you and you confirmed receiving it, and your 30-day money-back guarantee is being honored in full.
On the calls: we reviewed every conversation on this order. Each of your calls was answered. The one call that dropped was a line fault on the phone provider’s side, and our team called you back within minutes to confirm the Bill of Lading was already in your inbox. There was never any intent to avoid you.

Staff was helpful every step of the way. I ordered a BMW 750li engine with 57k miles. The engine works as it should. Staff has great customer service. The engine was installed 4 weeks ago and I am satisfied thus far. Their 6 months warranty helps put mind at ease. I would recommend their services.

Auto Power Source has been a pleasure to do business with. This company is a scam. They accept your money then hold it as long as possible then send you a picture to approve with damage to the motor. Clearly no one would approve that. They have been reported to the fbi internet crime division.
Now they're offering to send me money for my inconvenience but want my checking account number... Again scam... They have been reported.

Every engine we sell is inspected, photographed and approved by the customer before it ships. That is exactly what happened on your order: our pre-shipment inspection flagged the oil pan on the unit prepared for you, we sent you the photographs rather than ship it, and you chose not to proceed. Your full refund of $4,656.47 was issued the same hour, on 29 September, three days before this review was written. The two photographs you received were of one engine, before and after testing, and nothing was held back or hidden. A company that refunds you in full on the spot and declines to ship a unit it isn't satisfied with is not holding your money; it's doing what you'd want it to do.
I've written to you directly this morning with two concrete options that go well beyond the refund, because your wait deserves more than the order being cancelled. I'd rather resolve this with you than here. My email is in your inbox, and my direct line is on it — reach me there and I'll handle it personally.

Purchased a used transmission for our 2017 VW Passat. The process was easy, when I asked for a few more pictures I received more pictures in a timely manner. My mechanic says that it arrived in really good condition and was crated well.
Purchasing a used high ticket Item online can be nerve racking, but using Auto Power Source was easy and they made sure that I was informed and approved everything before they shipped the transmission. The transmission was delivered faster than I anticipated.
Overall a good experience.

Bait n Switch SCAM
10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND dealing with this place, straight up scam artists.. They had 5 units in stock for a 2013 Dodge Journey 2.4L ranging in price from $700-$950 depending on the mileage so I had purchased the one for $900 with 100k miles on it, a few days later after purchasing, "Roger" reaches out to let me know they can't sell me the engine because of a pricing error. That if I would still like to make the purchase that it'd now be $2,200.. Crazy pricing error if you ask me 5 units to be exact we're "mispriced" but anyways I declined to pay the extra. So i proceed to go on there website to see if they updated the price, they did. In fact they added another unit (Total of 6 engines now listed for 2013 dodge journey instead of 5) the $2,200 unit they was trying to sell me earlier now has 78k miles on it not 100k??? & on top of that none of the other engines on that listing match the miles they had listed when I had previously made the purchase of the $900 unit. Classic bait n switch. Save your time, hassle & money for the price they tried to sell me a used engine you can buy from an actual reputable supplier.
