Expect less than the original offer
I appreciated the convenience of same-day pickup, and the driver arrived on time. However, I had a feeling they would try to lower the original offer, and unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened. When they arrived to pick up the car, they found a reason to deduct $35 from the quoted price. It felt a bit sleazy, especially since they knew I was unlikely to push back with the driver already there. I suspect this is a common practice, but it left a bad impression. Overall, the pickup process was smooth, but I didn’t appreciate being put in an awkward position over $35.
