It is a good music distribution service…
It is a good music distribution service that has a simple procedure and provides access to various streaming platforms. While it does offer useful services to artists and labels, the distribution times could be better. Generally speaking, it provides a good experience but has room for improvement, I recently shifted my catalogue from sepulchral to this company.
Fast resolution and reliable service
Fast resolution and reliable service
Had a seamless experience with YouAux. My support ticket was handled efficiently, all my questions were cleared up, and the release went through smoothly. It's awesome to work with a team that actually supports independent artists. 10/10 service!

It's a very good and reliable Distributor.
Positive and negative experience.
I found the service was easy to use and the service efficient, if a little aggressive in tone at times. The only problem I have had was that the company raised a number of issues with my account and has since failed to address those issues, I’m sure because of a technical issue or something similar. I think it best to use the service for a short time only to avoid complications. I wish them all the best.
I’ve had a great experience with YouAux.

I appreciate their professional approach to music distribution and their support for independent artists. Overall, I’m very happy with the service and would recommend YouAux to other musicians.

SCAM!!
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to put out a warning for any indie artists or labels considering using YouAux for distribution.
Everything seems like it's going great at first. You pay for their premium plan, upload your music, and start getting streams. But the moment you actually try to withdraw your earnings, the nightmare begins.
Here is exactly what they do:
1. The "Irregular Activity" Trap & Manual Strikes
Out of nowhere, they will hit your account with a "manual audit" claiming "Irregular Activity" or a copyright strike. They use a massive umbrella statement accusing you of everything from unauthorized third-party material to "AI/random MIDI-generated audio" and fake streaming.
The worst part? They demand "official documents issued by government-recognized entities" within 3 days. If you are a bedroom producer or independent artist who made a song from scratch, what "government documents" are you supposed to have? They completely reject DAW screenshots or project files.
2. Withholding Your Money & Closing Accounts
Once they flag your account, they completely freeze your royalty payouts. Even if you have multiple other artists and totally clean tracks under your account, they will hold all of your money hostage
When you ask for clarification or try to cooperate, they send generic, copy-pasted responses. If you can't provide the impossible paperwork they ask for, they give you a 2-day warning before permanently closing your account and removing all of your releases—even if you've paid for a 10 year of their premium plan. They don't even respect standard terms like the 3-strike policy.
3. Add-on Services Are a Scam
Don't fall for their paid add-ons either. Paid services like playlisting don't actually work or do anything meaningful for your reach.
The Verdict
If you actually value your art, your time, and your hard-earned money, stay far away from YouAux.
They have no proper communication, they issue manual strikes to avoid paying out, and they will steal your royalties. Honestly, if you just want to put your song out there to fill someone else's pockets while you get nothing back, then they are the best option. Otherwise, stick to reputable distributors who actually respect indie creators.
Has anyone else dealt with this from them recently? How did you get your music moved over to another distributor while your account was locked?

Good-faith withdrawal request ignored, support escalation failed
My experience with YouAux has made me lose trust in their support, account handling, and escalation process.
A release I submitted was rejected. I understand that distributors have review and QC processes, and I understand that they need to protect themselves, DSPs, and stores. The rejection itself is not my main issue.
My issue is how the situation was handled after the rejection.
After the rejection, I asked for clarification so I could understand what the issue was and avoid doing anything wrong. I also clearly stated that I would not resubmit the release while the matter was unresolved.
YouAux requested a specific type of legally signed, government-approved or notarized documentation. I explained that, as an independent artist in Europe, I do not normally have that type of documentation for self-created music. That does not mean I cannot evidence my work. I have project files, DAW sessions, and workflow proof.
Because I could not provide the specific documents they requested at that time, I did not try to push the release through. I asked them to withdraw/cancel the release instead, so no further issue would be created.
In my view, that should have de-escalated the situation. Instead, the situation kept escalating from their side.
My account was blocked, my withdrawal/cancellation request was not clearly acknowledged, and the replies continued to focus on providing the same documents for another review, even though I had already stated that I no longer wanted the release to proceed. At one point, I was also told that further communication without the requested documents would not be considered.
After that, I sent a formal written notice asking them to address the administrative side of the issue: withdrawal/cancellation of the rejected release, account status, existing catalog status, royalty/payment status, and catalog export information. I also asked for a proper account termination process if they were unwilling to restore access, because I no longer wanted to continue working with them after the way the matter was handled.
That request was also not properly addressed.
The thread felt stuck in a loop where my actual requests were not being addressed. I therefore sent a separate formal message asking for account status, catalog status, data access, and a proper way to preserve or migrate my catalog. When I finally received a more direct response, it did not resolve the issue. Instead, I was told that takedown of all releases associated with my account had been initiated and that metadata such as UPCs and ISRCs would not be provided.
That response reinforced my experience that this was not being handled as a professional resolution process.
What concerns me most is that my position kept being mischaracterized. I was not trying to change their review process, bypass their QC process, or force them to approve the release. I was doing the opposite: I accepted that I could not provide the specific documents they requested at that time and asked them to cancel/withdraw the release to avoid further problems.
Even when I tried to exit the relationship properly, the process still felt one-sided. My requests about account termination, catalog preservation, royalties/payment information, and migration were not clearly acknowledged before the situation escalated to a full catalog takedown.
For independent artists, this is extremely concerning. Your catalog is your work, and when something goes wrong, you need clear communication, human escalation, and a realistic way to resolve or exit the situation. In my experience, I did not get that here.
Ignoring my responses and then saying I did not respond is not fair. Reframing my formal administrative and data-access requests as threats or legal warnings also felt wrong to me, because I was trying to resolve the matter professionally and in good faith.
After this experience, I no longer feel comfortable submitting further private production material to YouAux or continuing the distribution relationship with them.
My main concern is not only the release rejection. It is the repeated template-like replies, the account block, the ignored withdrawal request, the mischaracterization of my position, the lack of clear answers about my existing catalog, and the escalation of the situation despite my attempts to avoid further issues.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend YouAux. I would strongly advise independent artists to be very careful before trusting their full catalog to this service.

⚠️ Think twice before uploading your music to YouAux. I lost access to 30+ original songs mau account was blocked with no clear appeal process. Their support is extremely hard to reach, and I never got a real explanation. If you're an independent artist relying on this platform for distribution, be very careful about putting your whole catalog at risk in one place.

Best distributor for Cheap
The verification process is mildly infuriating but the custom service is very fast and they can usually respond within 10 minutes, a lot faster than routenote. After my song went in review it was delivered within an hour. Highly recommended for people with a small budget, I am paying 5$ a year.
