We received our sofa today which we ordered from the Fittleworth. During the ordering process Sam was very helpful and patient. We are delighted with the end product & would not hesitate to recommend the company.

From showroom to delivery, the service was first class. I received excellent advice in the showroom, regular updates as my order progressed and assistance when I needed to delay the delivery by a few days. The delivery itself was well organised and executed; I received a courtesy call to confirm the booking arrangements and then another from the team (Sam and Stuart) when mine was next up. In any case the tracking app was very accurate, enabling other things to be done whilst waiting. I am incredibly happy with the end product.

We recently revisited the Sofas & Stuff Bishop’s Stortford showroom and were lucky enough to meet Danielle, who happened to be helping out for the day from the St Albans branch.

Danielle was absolutely fantastic! She was patient, friendly and incredibly helpful, taking the time to talk us through all the options available. Even when we struggled to decide on the fabric, nothing was too much trouble. She arranged for samples to be sent to us so we could compare them at home and make the right choice.

We couldn't be happier with our new sofas and footstool!

The excellent service continued right through to delivery. Martyn and Sam arrived on time and carefully delivered everything to our room of choice. They positioned the sofas exactly where we wanted them and even offered to help move our other furniture back into place. All the packaging was removed and taken away, leaving everything looking lovely.

It's rare to receive such genuinely thoughtful service from start to finish, and the whole experience has been a pleasure.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sofas & Stuff, and if you're visiting the St Albans showroom, do ask for Danielle. She's an absolute credit to the team!

Sofas & Stuff positions itself as a premium brand, but our experience over the past five months has been nothing short of a nightmare.
We ordered a bespoke extension unit for our existing sofa. What followed was a complete breakdown in communication, logistics, and quality control:
Endless administrative mistakes: Fabric samples were lost in the post, order confirmations were never sent despite us chasing them, and basic questions sent to customer service went completely ignored.
Loan sofa mix-ups: We were charged extra for a loan sofa, only to have the confirmed loaner given away to another customer and swapped for a smaller unit.
Failed Delivery #1: The first delivery attempt arrived incomplete because parts had been left behind at the factory.
Failed Delivery #2: The second attempt was an absolute disaster. The delivery crew had no instructions to collect the loan sofa. Worse, the new middle section arrived with no legs, and the connection fittings didn't match our existing sofa (bolt holes instead of brackets). It couldn't even be attached.
It is clear the new piece was never test-fitted before dispatch, rendering the whole process of taking our original sofa to their workshop completely pointless. After five months of disruption and repeated days taken to work from home for failed deliveries, we are left right back where we started with an unusable product.
For a brand charging high-end prices, the service, operational oversight, and basic manufacturing standards fall shockingly short. Save yourself the stress and shop elsewhere.

We arrived in the showroom and had a friendly greeting then we were left to browse with no pestering. When we needed help we were given it in a friendly and polite manner by Tatia who was also able to answer all of our technical questions and routes to alternative solutions. Each time we visited, we had the same friendly and helpful assistance. We were very impressed with the service and the sofas on offer.

From our first visit to the store we were greeted by Tatia and she dealt with all our questions. On our return visit to choose the sofa and fabric, she was able to show us on line exactly how our chosen sofa would fit our decor and room dimensions. The delivery process was excellent too. A good experience all round.

Sofa and Stuff sofa was ordered with ease and then was delivered by Gary and Byron. The delivery team were very professional, friendly and incredibly helpful. They are took away all of the packaging and made sure the sofa was ready to go and in the best position. They also spent time giving me really valuable advice on how to keep the Sofa looking great as well as free from stains. Excellent service, thank you Gary and Byron

We had a few issues with our order which took quite some time to resolve, but I really wanted to leave a review for Sophie, who has been absolutely brilliant throughout.
She was always friendly, helpful and genuinely cared about getting everything sorted for us. She kept us updated, followed things up and made sure we finally received exactly what we ordered. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.
A big thank you to Rachel at the Manchester showroom too, who was fantastic when we were choosing our sofa and fabrics.

Lovely show room (Tunbridge wells) with good amount of choice for both sofas and fabric. Friendly and helpful staff, efficient service and quick delivery (7 weeks) as our chosen fabric was in stock and we chose a standard size sofa. Second sofa we have bought from here in 2 years, so would recommend. Would be my 1st port of call again if I need another sofa or armchair 😊

A Fiasco from start to finish. 5 months of being fobbed off and lied to. Difficult to get information or answers from anyone. No customer service or customer care once they have your money. Directors were apparently involved, but obviously weren't interested - my emails direct to them weren't even acknowledged.

I am trying to get some refund/compensation for the inconvenience - not least having to use garden chairs in my living room for 2 months - a loan chair was promised, but never appeared - another lie.

When my sofa and chair were finally delivered, the delivery team were great and very helpful.

We were delighted when we realised there was a branch in our town and found the whole experience really easy. The staff - Maia and others - were thoughtful about helping us find the right chair for our needs and to suit our existing room design. Delivery was whole month earlier than expected! What a bonus! I think they have lovely designs and would certainly return - I wish I had 6 sitting rooms!
