These people are true professionals
These people are true professionals! They were absolutely a pleasure to deal with. I live in NJ, USA, and wanted to rent a Porsche 911 for my husband to drive while we vacationed in Germany. CarVia is one of the few companies that actually guarantee that the car you order is the one you get. They were also highly responsive via email—I had lots of questions and they consistently responded very quickly and thoroughly. Even the young man who delivered the car to us at our hotel-Philipp-was wonderful to deal with. CarVia took what I initially thought might be a bit of an intimidating experience and made it into a great experience. I’d highly recommend!
Second time was as Amazing as the first
This was our second time renting a Porsche from CarVia. The experience is easy and an amazing way to travel! I try to convince friends to plan a trip and travel in a 911 to Switzerland. CarVia makes it affordable and easy! It was a bucket list trip the first time, and it was so amazing and affordable (compared to renting a Porsche in the US) that we decided to do it a second time. Now we are considering doing it a third time in a couple of years. Thank you CarVia !
The perfect Fiat 500 Abarth
I was looking to find a Fiat 500 Abarth to rent for 9 days. I found the Carvia website and was immediately convinced with the information provided. Meeting Tony when picking up the car was an experience: he was really helpful and was ready to answer any question. We drove away and had the perfect holiday. Also thanks to the amazing Fia 500 Abarth. Thanks Carvia for the service and Tony specifically! Bart
🚨 CARVIA: READ THIS FIRST
PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE RENTING A CAR FROM CARVIA IN MALLORCA
The cars look great, there’s no doubt about that. But after what happened to us, the real question is: **are you willing to risk losing your rental car in the middle of your holiday?
We rented two cars from CarVia, a BMW and a Porsche.
On the exact same day the BMW was delivered to us, the police stopped the car and took it away. We were left to deal with the consequences ourselves, including the towing costs and other fees.
The same issue applied to the Porsche. From what we were able to establish during the situation, the cars did not have the required registered documentation to legally be driven in Mallorca. This was the reason the BMW was taken by the police. If the police had seen the Porsche as well, we believe the same thing would have happened to that car.
What made the whole situation even worse was the way CarVia handled it.
Instead of fixing the problem and making sure the Porsche could legally stay on the road, they tracked the car through GPS and came to collect it without properly informing us beforehand. We were then told that our deposit would not be returned unless we left the Porsche key at the hotel reception.
A huge amount of our holiday was wasted dealing with this situation. We had to spend our time trying to get answers, dealing with different people and trying to understand what was actually going on. From our experience, CarVia was not cooperative and did not take responsibility for the costs or consequences. In the end, we were the ones left dealing with the problem.
The cars themselves are beautiful. But honestly, is a nice car worth the risk?
Imagine being on holiday, the police see the car, take it away because of problems with its registration/documentation, and suddenly you are left without the car you paid for – while also having to deal with the costs and the company afterwards.
That is exactly what happened to us.
If you are considering renting from CarVia, please do your own checks and make sure you understand exactly what documents the car has before driving away.
I genuinely wish we had known all of this before booking.
Simply as expected
The entire process of reserving an elite performance car, picking it up, and dropping it off was simple and straightforward. The car itself was brilliant and in top shape
It was amazing
It was amazing ! A really nice team and also a really nice cars!
abarth very poorly maintained
the abarth is very poorly maintained, found out it was around 2l of engine oil missing, and the brake fluid was probably never changed (car with 60K km) had a brake failure could have died there, when you take the abarth always check the oil lvl yourself, and you should have a brake fluid tester as well- do not accept the car with maintenance issues.
Great service in München
Rented in München. The customer service and flexibility simply blow the competition to pieces. Thank you.

Everything went super smooth with the…
Everything went super smooth with the Carvia from recieving the car to drop off. Car was also amazing! Clean and in perfect condition.
1/5 — Beautiful car, but the condition and billing practices are a serious problem
1/5 — Beautiful car, but the condition and billing practices are a serious problem
The Urus itself drove great — no complaints there, and the airport handover to pick it up was smooth and easy. That's where the positives end.
First sign of trouble came right at the exit. The car was handed to us in a short-term parking area at the airport, with the parking ticket left inside — but nobody mentioned that the ticket still needed to be paid before leaving. We drove up to the exit barrier and got stuck: unpaid parking, barrier down, cars backing up behind us while we scrambled to pay on the spot. Paying for the parking itself isn't the issue — it's that nobody said a single word about it during handover. A two-second heads-up would have avoided the whole thing.
For a car in this class, at this price point, the condition was also not acceptable. Scratches everywhere — rims, bumper, front spoiler, mirrors, no clean panel to be found. Inside, the plastic around the rear power outlets was broken. There were bubble gum stains on the floor mats. The front had clearly only been quickly dusted, not properly cleaned, for a rental at this price.
The drop-off is where it got worse. Because the car was already covered in damage, we took around 50 photos from every angle before driving off — and it's a good thing we did. At return, the person inspecting the car immediately started pointing out "damage" and charges — scratch after scratch — that we could prove, photo by photo, existed before we ever touched the car. They moved straight to specific spots as if already looking for something to charge us for, not doing a genuine inspection.
Then came the invoice. We returned the car empty and went over the included distance, so an overage charge was expected — except they calculated it as 100 km over a 1,600 km allowance. Our actual booking confirmation states 1,700 km included. When I disputed it, the support agent didn't even check the confirmation and told me I hadn't paid for the extra 100 km up front, so I only had 1,600. I had to send a screenshot with the included allowance circled in red before he'd even acknowledge it — and even then, no apology, no immediate refund, just "forwarded to our ops team for further review."
Paying roughly $13,000 for a rental and then being met with an unpaid-parking surprise at the exit, an attempt to bill for pre-existing damage, and a billing error that required me to prove my own booking terms with a marked-up screenshot — with still no resolution or apology — that's a hard no. If you rent from CarVia, document everything, in detail, before you drive off. You may need every photo.
They will charge your card multiple times
They charged my card multiple times and when I I asked for a refund they said no.
Horrible service and app
Horrible service and app. Doesn’t work and limited options. I cancelled a day later and no refund done for it not working. Sucky company.
Superb service
Superb service, car and support. Rented 911 GTS from Frankfurt - collection, communication and service was perfect. Phillip was friendly, efficient and very effective.
Outstanding experience…
We had an outstanding experience working with CarVia for a corporate driving event in Stuttgart.
From the very first contact, their team was extremely professional, transparent and solution-oriented. In a context where other providers struggled to deliver, CarVia was always responsive, flexible and reliable.
The communication was clear, the vehicles were exactly as expected, and the overall process was smooth and efficient.
A special thanks to Julia and the team for their support and dedication — it truly made a difference.
Highly recommended, and we look forward to working together again.
First time using Carvia
The sign up process was easy and the drop off was quick. Using off site for the first time, I was slightly anxious but all went smoothly.
Long delay after a cancelled & re-scheduled flight was no problem and our car was running and warm when we were shuttled back to it.
If I must criticize anything it's the poor interior shuttle condition. I will use them again.
Great experience!
Great experience!
Rented 911 GT3. Delivered to my hotel within 45 minutes of the reservation.
Miguel delivered the car and did a fantastic job of explaining everything with the car and the agreement.
They also responded to my email quickly when I had a question.
We will be renting from them again.

RACIAL PROFILING
I booked a GLC43, completed my payment, and everything seemed perfectly fine. Then out of nowhere, I received an email asking for my driver’s license and passport, after I had already paid. Still, I sent everything right away to keep things smooth.
A short while later, they suddenly told me the car was “not available.” No clear explanation, no alternative, nothing. Just that.
It felt strange, so I called them to ask what was going on. They said they were “checking some things,” which didn’t make sense, especially since I’ve previously rented a Porsche GT4 in Frankfurt, a much more expensive car, without a single issue or extra “checks.”
Then it got ridiculous. They called me back and said that, to approve my booking and actually get the car, I now needed to pay with my American Express card instead of my Visa.
So first the car was unavailable, and then suddenly it wasn’t,if I used a different card.
That’s when it became obvious this wasn’t about availability or payment. It was about who they thought I was after seeing my passport and license. The excuses and tone completely changed. This wasn’t random, it was racial profiling, plain and simple.
Asking for passport, drivers license and later on canceling the car but at the same time figuring out i was a customer, they changed their mind but to be 100% all was good based on their judgement, they asked to use my american express which is extremely sick and disrespectfull to asked in a situation like this.
I’ve rented cars all over Europe, Sixt or Hertz you name it, and never once been treated this way. This company clearly judges customers based on background, not booking history. It’s subtle but clear discrimination dressed up as “procedure.”
If you’re that cautious about who rents your cars, here’s a better idea: raise your prices, increase your deposit, and stop profiling people after they already paid for a booking.
Disappointing, unprofessional, and honestly, shameful in 2025. I’d strongly recommend avoiding this company if you expect to be treated equally and with basic respect.
They will cancel your reservation, plan accordingly
After my payment they began asking for documents and menacing to cancel the reservation, which they canceled anyway after I provided pages of documents, for no apparent reason. Totally unreliable. They had no visible address on the website and when asked they provided reluctantly the address of a Mercedes-Benz dealership. They say the refund for the canceled rental is on the way (they won't provide refund for upsided programs and other reservations and expenses related to the canceled trip): I'm ready to sue them if it is not paid.
