BEWARE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE
BEWARE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! I would put zero stars if I could. I came here to have my car fixed on 9/17/26 as once you accelerated to 40 miles per hour or higher there was a noise I was told that it could be the rear differential fluid and if that did not work the rear differential would need to be replaced and that the front was fine. The rear differential fluid did not work so I authorized them to repair the entire rear differential. I was advised they would order the part would only take a day to get the part in then it was a few days. Once part arrived I did not get my car back for another two weeks. I had to keep calling for updates last phone call car was ready but I was told they would give me an estimate for the front differential as well, wait what? you said the rear needed replaced not the front too. I go to pick up my car I was warned he could still hear the noise give it a couple of days and in a week bring it back so they can check it. It’s a few days later zero change it is doing exactly what it was doing before so either the repair was not done or the car was misdiagnosed either way. I paid over $1,400 dollars and I still have the same exact issue. Not to mention my steering wheel kind of rears to the right which it was not doing before that. I’m hoping I can speak to Angel and Oscar and work this out without going to corporate. I will be taking the car back in. The store is located at 1211 Forest Parkway Morrow Ga.

Midas St Peters MO.
Midas St. Peters MO. Had oil changed and later found the splash panel hanging down because they left 6 bolts out. I tried to find matching bolts that have the locking washer but couldnt. Took it back to have them fix it with correct bolts they left out. When completed the manager said the must have fallen out. I worked 38 years automotive. I said these lock washers dont let the bolt fall out why are you lying to me like that. We went round and round and he stuck with his story. When I got home I checked and they put regular bolts not the lock washer bolts. Worst manager I ever met. Don't trust them or their service at Midas on Mid Rivers.
MIDAS Screwed it
MIDAS Screwed it, Toyota Reviewed it!!! Independent Toyota diagnosis confirms water intrusion caused ECM failure
Original Tom Wood repair order
“No communication with the ECM.”
“Sunroof is leaking.”
“Water to intrude into the vehicle.”
“Caused ECU to fail.”
The itemized $3,539.77 total.
"Your Honor, I made every reasonable attempt to mitigate my damages and repair my vehicle immediately. On July 31 and August 3, I requested the exact ECU part number and vendor from opposing counsel so I could source a replacement. Defense counsel agreed on August 3 to provide this 'in the near future,' but withheld the information for 50 days until September 22—and only after I threatened a Motion to Compel. Because of this delay, I was unable to order the necessary part or make the vehicle drivable, forcing me to incur an additional $[X] in rental car fees during those 7 weeks. I request that these additional rental fees be awarded in full as direct consequential damages caused by Defendant's delay."_____________________________________________

to me
Hi
It was nice meeting you at the initial hearing in this matter. Sean Myers of Auto Owners Insurance Company forwarded me your email of 7/31/26 requesting documentation/information from Midas regarding the “ECU”. Typically in small claims court parties are to petition the court for leave to conduct discovery. However, for efficiency I will obtain this information from my client and forward it you in the near future.
In turn, I would also ask that if you have any repair estimates/receipts for the vehicle since 2/24/26 I would appreciate receiving copies of those as well.
Thanks and I look forward to working with you on this,
Lori

These fabulous guys!
I have been a customer at Midas for several years. My husband usually handles the cars but I have recently been in charge of the car services. These guys are so unbelievably good to me. I have had all of our cars taken care of by them. First, Sham and Marco are such amazing humans. They are kind, warm and caring. I had some medical issues and they took time to check on me, chat with me and made it easy on me schedule wise to service my vehicles. They even offered to bring my car to me after my surgery. I consider them friends now and trust them implicitly. If I could give them ten stars it still wouldn’t be enough.
Waste waiting time with appointment
Waste waiting time with appointment. Long time waiting for parts delivery. Parts prices in 2-3 times higher than on market. Idea from front desk representative increase services than actually required.
Midas Hermanus staff member Nathaniel…
Midas Hermanus staff member Nathaniel always delivers a great service and I give him a 10/10, whether you visit the shop or simply via telecon. Today I was very shocked when I called the store, the operator started talking, I listened to the options as I wished to speak to Nathaniel, merely to hear, "press 6 to speak to Bek". All the other staff members are called upon there name via the options. I would suggest that the recording be redone.

The gentleman were professional, courteous and gave a trust worthy atmosphere. They got me a ride home as I was waiting and a ride back to pick the car up. They also reviewed the car of needs of tuning it up for protection of the car and better life capacity. Thank you for the people who live in a purpose of doing above in their life's walk. I went for a cheap oil change and tire…
I went for a cheap oil change and tire rotation. When I got home, all my oil was on my driveway with the plug bearly in there. I called the staff first and he said they dont offer refunds. And he also said his new techs are crap. I said if my refund came out of his pocket he might do better. Offered store credit. Then the franchise owner said if you call we can work something out...I did call. Just trying to look good on Google. This was the Lehman ferry location in huntsville
Zach the general manager
In spite of unfortunate cluster of unpleasant events with a simple oil change I asked for the management to call me to point out the flaw. "The general manager Zach" called just to act in the most vile and unprofessional manner ever, screaming at me. Cannot make this up, I file a complaint against him and never heard back.

Don't use Midas
Before bringing my truck in, I called the location and explained that the parking brake cable was sticking and needed to be replaced. I specifically asked whether they could perform that repair and was told they could.
I dropped the truck off at approximately 5:15 p.m. I understood that it was near closing and expected to leave it overnight. I was told twice that they would get to it first thing the following morning and call me when it was ready.
I later received a call stating that the rear brake shoes needed to be replaced at a cost of approximately $945. I authorized that work because I understood that these were additional repairs they believed were necessary. At no point was I told that the parking brake cable—the specific reason I brought the truck to Midas—was not going to be replaced.
Three days after dropping off the truck, I was told it was ready. After returning home, I tested the parking brake. The pedal traveled approximately 14 inches and did not hold the truck at all. In fact, the parking brake was worse than when I brought the vehicle in.
I called the shop and explained the problem. I was asked to bring the truck back yet again. I reiterated that the entire reason I initially brought the truck to Midas was to have the parking brake cable replaced. I was then told that the cable was stretched and could be replaced for approximately another $750.
This is where I have a serious problem with how this transaction was handled.
I brought the truck to Midas specifically for replacement of the parking brake cable. Midas agreed to perform that repair. I subsequently authorized approximately $945 in additional brake work with the reasonable understanding that the repair I originally requested was still being completed. Only after paying for that work and discovering that the parking brake was still not functioning was I informed that the cable had never been replaced and that completing my original requested repair would cost another $750.
Had I been clearly told, “The $945 repair does not include the parking brake cable you brought the vehicle in for, and replacing that cable will cost an additional $750,” I could have made an informed decision before authorizing the work. I was never given that opportunity.
I am not disputing that the brake shoes may have needed replacement, nor do I object to paying a reasonable price for necessary repairs. My complaint is that Midas performed and charged me for substantial additional work while failing to clearly disclose that the specific repair I requested was not being performed.
I added Midas corporate to review this matter, including the original work order, the repairs that were authorized and performed, and the communications from the location. I would also like an explanation as to why the parking brake cable was not replaced despite that being the stated reason for bringing the vehicle in, and why I was not informed of this before the additional work was authorized.
I would appreciate a reasonable resolution that takes into account the approximately $945 I have already paid and the fact that the original problem I brought the truck to Midas to repair remains unresolved.
I have intentionally contacted Midas corporate to provide the company an opportunity to review and address the situation. I look forward to your response and proposed resolution.
Don't Trust This Midas!!
Don't Trust This Midas!!
I have used this midas for basic oil change and repair for the last couple years, but the service has completely tanked. In particular, they completely tried to screw me over on a recent repair. They tried to tell me that three major components went out all at the same time and all needed replaced which amounted to a few thousand dollars. After getting into a complete argument with both the manager and front desk person, I left and found a real mechanic down the street. He saw the same dummy lights that triggered midas, but then you did a further test and found all three of the pieces that midas wanted to replace were in good working order. He then found a wire harness that had triggered all of the dummy lights, replaced it, and the car is running like new. The midas crew not only showed their incompetence as mechanics, but they also showed there incompetence in customer service and support. I will never go back, I am telling everyone I know that they should not go there. I'm also advising you to drive on and don't waste your time, or more accurately, don't waste your money her. Ps, I'm a grown man and they were trying to fill me full of garbage. Luckily, I know a little about cars and understood how ludacris their repair suggestions were. If you're not comfortable going to a mechanic and have trust issues with mechanics to begin with, then I would highly recommend avoiding this place.
