I wanted to enjoy this with my daughter. We got the spooky on in our city . It could have been great but it was NOT good. This app drained my battery as I need to constantly copy and paste the addresses into Google maps. The map in the app was not usable. We did learn a few Interesting things about our city but it was NOT spooky at all . I was hoping for stories of ghosts but nope . Nothing to do with anything remotely spooky .
Please makers of this game . This could be soo cool , you need to improve your maps and stories when you get to a location. The challenges were fun . And lastly we need more time . We should get a 24 hour time period . I was with my daughter and we were walking alot which is fine but she is small and needs breaks and food. The 2 hours went by to fastv

We had a great time and got to see some amazing historical sites and learned about the history of the town. There were also neat art pieces around. Lasts about an hour, but I guess that also depends on how much time you spend looking at things or reading about the places. Great for both spur of the moment and planned activities.

We purchased a year pass since we did a similar scavenger hunt in Perugia from a different provider (!) and the experience had been fun.
We wanted to have a similar experience here and stupidly thought they would be as good as the other provider. But boy were we disappointed.
We stopped after 15 minutes. Waste of money. To compete in the game you need to look at your phone instead of around you. There’s no information from the app about the spot you’re looking at so you have to google, I got totally irrelevant questions about Disney princess movies I’m not even remotely interested in and have nothing to do with Girona / a sightseeing trip. And one of the answers was even incorrectly faulted. For points you need to answer questions about a location that you either need to go inside the building for to answer or look up online (again that phone instead of the experience of seeing), since they don’t give any background info about the location you are at. Then you also have to upload ‘funny’ photos and videos of how much ‘fun you’re having’ at that spot to get points, sometimes photos and a video at the same spot - which I’m now afraid they will use to further this AI generated trip. We bought for a year and only used it 15 minutes and were just told they will not refund any money. So that we’re an expensive 15 minutes of irritation for us. Ugh -

We booked a Let's Roam Scavenger Hunt for our Amazon team in London. The hunt concept itself is fun, however almost everything was mishandled.
Rude, dismissive sales call: the initial planning call set the tone. The rep wasn't inclusive, pulled faces at my accent, rushed through everything, and left no real time for me to ask questions.
Internal miscommunication on basics: one rep told me custom start and end points were included; another later told me they weren't. Getting a straight answer on something that should have been settled at booking took unnecessary back-and-forth.
Late and unresponsive on route setup: I confirmed our custom start/end points right after booking. I then had to chase for close to a week with no real update. The updated event page wasn't sent to me until just two days before the event -- and that's when I discovered the start/end points still hadn't been applied, forcing a last-minute scramble to get it fixed before the hunt even started.
Buggy scoring: the in-app point calculation didn't work properly during the hunt, so the live leaderboard was inaccurate -- undermining the whole competitive format the app is built around.
Ghosted after payment: the post-event feedback link has been broken since the day it was sent. I reported it, was told it was fixed (it wasn't), and followed up five more times over two weeks. Not one reply once the invoice was settled.
If you book this, go in expecting to manage the logistics yourself, double-check everything they tell you, and don't expect a response once they've been paid.

Was a great team building experience with coworker. The challengers were fun and low activity for everyone to join.

Really really poor app and experience.
Completely basic and personally not enjoyable.
Have done so many treasure hunts and this was by far the worst. Very little imaginative thought, nothing to solve, just spot things and take pictures which was so low effort I may as well have not paid anything. Equally they say you need more than one ticket for more people to fill roles but you don’t and now I am left with tickets that they won’t refund me.

Great way to explore and learn about Poole’s history!

Map is not interactive, it should work with Google maps to take you to each place all you get is a post code so can't even narrow down what you are looking for. Waste of money! Better to just walk around yourself!

Was looking forward to doing a quiz hunt around Richmond, Surrey. We bought our tickets and made our way to the start point, only to find we had to pay over £100 to get into the place where all the clues were. There was nothing mentioned about this prior to choosing the hunt.
I contacted their chat support on the day and a few days after but they have never bothered responding.

We were so disappointed. The idea of a scavenger hunt is so cool but the app is not user friendly. Before we could even start, It would kick us back to the sign up page repeatedly and we had to contact support. Then once support restarted our hunt, the map showed us all the different places, but not how to get to any of those places. We found two destinations but then the third told us to go all the way back to where we started across town. The destinations were not in any kind of geographical order. We decided to give up because we were not going to continue walking aimlessly around trying to find a dot on a map with no directions. Was a great idea but terrible app. Seeking a refund

We were very disappointed with the Let's Roam app. We purchased the Merano scavenger hunt, and the setup was straightforward. We started playing and were enjoying it, but after a short break to grab something to eat, we couldn't resume the game. No matter what we tried, it simply wouldn't continue.
Customer support wasn't helpful. They initially responded, but eventually stopped replying altogether without resolving the issue.
The experience ended up ruining what should have been a fun day in Merano. I can't recommend the app based on our experience.

Fraudulent website! I have attempted to purchase a couple's yearly pass on the 4th July but the website came up with an error code stating there is a problem on their end and to try again which I did. In the end, they debited 8 transactions from my credit card account without any confirmation of purchase. I reached on more than 5 occasions and each time they replied stating it was still open with the billing team and there provided no contacts/ reference whom I can refer to regarding the dispute. Definitely stay away from this website!
