We have had a genuinely excellent experience with Griffin Teaching, and I cannot speak highly enough of Hayley and her team.

Preparing our daughter for the 11+ has been an important journey for us as a family, and what has impressed me most is not simply the quality of the teaching, but the professionalism, honesty and genuine care that underpin everything Griffin does.

Hayley brings a rare combination of academic rigour, warmth and personal integrity. She clearly understands the pressures that children and parents face during this process, and her approach is thoughtful, measured and reassuring without ever compromising on standards or creating unrealistic expectations.

The teaching is structured, purposeful and engaging, with regular practice, constructive feedback and a clear understanding of where additional attention is needed. We have particularly appreciated the openness of the communication, the willingness to address concerns and the genuine commitment to helping our daughter develop both academically and in confidence.

What distinguishes Griffin, in my view, is that you never feel your child is simply another pupil preparing for an examination. There is a real sense of personal investment in their development, and that matters enormously.

Whatever the eventual examination outcome, we are sincerely grateful for the guidance, encouragement and support our daughter has received.

Having had 2 children go through their 11+ with Griffin, both achieving top scores and offers from their first choice schools, I could not be happier. Nothing is too much trouble for this team. They closely support children and parents providing regular updates and tailored support where needed. The course is perfectly balanced to ensure confidence is built and progress is carefully managed so children reach final test day absolutely on point. The course spotted gaps in our maths which we were able to quickly consolidate, and we really appreciated the dedicated English paper course, which was online so could be fitted in and around other commitments. This transformed my son's comprehension and writing element beyond recognition. We also took advantage of all the mock exams which not only helped my children become confident in exam conditions but also gave us clear indicators along the way as to exactly where we were. This team pivots quickly to accomodate the ever evolving exam content and changing structure. Highly knowlegable and nurturing. Could not have asked for more.

From start to finish Hayley and her team have been so supportive of both my children. Having helped my daughter with the 11+ and ISEB test she went on to secure a scholarship in a top independent school and is thriving there. We have every reason to believe our son has this exciting opportunity ahead of him too. None of this would have been possible without Hayley's thoughtful guidance and year 5 programme that she's poured her lifetime's work into. Her passion for education is unparalleled, a true expert in her field.
