Disappointing, but the view is great.
We booked this room in the middle of a road trip to use the washer and dryer. I didn't see any detergent with washer and dryer so we went to pick up a few items from City Market, and I was going to buy detergent. Before I bought it, I messaged through airbnb. I was told detergent was under kitchen sink so we didn't buy any. Once we got back to the room, I still could not find any. I looked EVERYWHERE. I messaged through airbnb again, and I was told the detergent is on top of washer. Wrong again. At this point, its our second and last night. You all told me that you had alerted housekeeping, but no one ever showed up or responded with a time. We left with dirty clothes and had to pay for laundering services at our next stop. When you pay $1500 for two nights at a room with washer and dryer, PLEASE provide detergent (or at least be honest that its actually not in the room). A few dollars would fix this, but it completely left a negative feeling for the management.
One more thing...you have to make sure guests understand the steps! We had other guests come up to us in the parking lot talking about the number of steps and the lift. We were there to hike, but the stairs were still an issue for us with heavy bags. You have to navigate steps even if you use the lift. We were not prepared for the stairs! Great view, but a million steps.

The cluster of properties managed by…
The cluster of properties managed by Frias at the top of Mill and Galena have become our "go to" lodging.
For cycling in September or opening the lifts in November, nobody beats the location.
Just roll down Galena to start your ride or stroll to the Gondola to start the season. I just can't go anywhere else.
The skiing is, of course, legendary. But the cycling is just as good. Especially for a diverse group. Almost all the rides are "Lego Rides" meaning the stronger riders can always add a segment while others do something less demanding and everyone can meet at the Woody Creek Tavern. Perfect!
The staff is always perfect. Checking on line is great. Housekeeping are pros.
Now, the lifts open to start the season in 45 days. Do't put the bikes away just yet!

Very accommodating and helpful…
Very accommodating and helpful concierge staff. The home was thoroughly cleaned, it was nice that soap and shampoo and conditioner was provided in all the bathrooms. The home was roomy. Appreciated the help with coordinating airport transportation for our group.

We have utilized Frias properties for the past several years to find a summer rental in downtown Aspen… they have been excellent! Our unit isn’t an A+ location and is extremely comfortable and well maintained. The staff is exceptional. We had an AC problem and they sent a manager right away to assess and then correct the problem.

The staff at Frias was great. From booking to checking in, I had a really positive experience. I called the day before my reservation to confirm my booking and was able to check in early. The room was clean and the amenities were generous. The location of Independence Square in downtown Aspen cannot be beat!
