Product was extremely poorly packed in a box 3 sizes too large. Arrived broken and I had to glue/caulk it back together to make it function. I didn't bother calling to complain because I figured that your customer service wouldn't be any better the second time than it was the first, and my time is valuable. I won't be using your firm again.

Oh no. Sorry to hear about this incident. I wish you would have contacted us, we could have easily resolved that for you. I reached out to our warehouse and they stated this product ships in the original packaging from the manufacturer. If FEDEX did not take adequate care of the package while shipping that could explain the problem you encountered as we have sold and shipped many of these this year and this is the only time we have heard of an issue with them.
Additionally, I have checked our email, text and voicemail systems and see no prior communications received from regarding this order, referencing your name, order, email address, or the phone number in the order.
We also confirmed you had no previous orders with us, so not sure what your statement was referring to when you said, ‘figured that your customer service wouldn’t be any better the second time than it was the first’.
We always correct any problems with customer orders. You ordered a center core for a Pentair clean and clear. Those are big items. Are you stating it wasn’t a Pentair box with this part number stamped on it? Because again, our warehouse indicated these are indeed shipped in original manufacturer box.
I suggest when ordering online you always give the company a chance to correct a problem with a delivered order. Sometimes, things go wrong from packaging to delivering that can easily and quickly be resolved without you spending much time at all other than reporting the problem. I’ve done that plenty of times with Amazon deliveries.
