Terrible /No customer service and hidden taxes in UK

Ordered shoes (my second pair) now they have shipping again in Europe. Shoes arrived quickly but I got charged double taxes on UK import despite the site saying nothing more to pay and cant get any response from them just some AI bot. Shame they don’t bother with customer service but BEWARE HIDDEN COSTS IF IN UK

Ordered some cleaning products from this company which they say were dispatched but never received anything. Have been chasing for a response but heard nothing back until I suggested raising a credit card dispute. Not impressed and will not use again as still dont have the product ordered.

Having been a 7IM customer over the last 10 or so years I decided to move provider to get a better return and this is where the problems started. They make it incredibly difficult to withdraw your funds coming up with ever more inventive reasons to not make the transfer - the latest one is wait a week or so then ask for the request on headed paper. Then wait another week and say you need to put your postcode on it - it goes on and on for over a month now! Totally ridiculous and feels like a well practiced approach. Have now needed to raise a complaint with the ombudsman to get my own money back. Avoid

Ordered a couple of lights which were on back order. However after a week or so found them elsewhere so emailed customer services to cancel. Heard nothing then chased again a couple of days later. Still nothing then get a delivery notification. Total pain for them and me now I have to return them because they couldn’t be bothered to reply. Really annoyed and may be this review might spark a response let’s see. Avoid if you ever think you might need to raise a question or make a change

Really good company. Needed a new front wheel for my son’s Merlin gravel bike after he got hit by a car. He was fine bike less so and Merlin were able to supply a spare at a very fair price. Really impressed

First time user but really impressed. Got a much better deal than trade in and sold in 24 hours with quick collection and no issues

Ordered over 2 weeks ago and heard nothing. Chased and they said there was some sort of system issue and shipment now moving. Another week later nothing. Avoid I am worried this is not a genuine company and seems to have disappeared from FB

I ordered a spare part for my wine fridge about a month ago. They were prompt in sending a payment link but since then i have heard nothing. No confirmation of dispatch, no response to chasing emails. I am going to have to raise a credit card dispute now to get my money back. Shocking from such a large brand

Autoglass in Chessington were excellent. Really helpful when my wife had an issue with the car not starting and a great job on the windscreen.

Great delivery tracking and price for members

Excellent all items delivered on time and one exchanged very easily because I had ordered an integrated dryer when I meant to order a standalone - no problem for AO even though they had unwrapped it. Now use for all my appliances with the 5 Star Club

As a massive Cirque de Soleil fan I was really looking forward to Corteo at the Royal Albert Hall. However we were really disappointed - I had no idea what the story was about (something about a funeral?), none of the acts really had the wow factor of previous shows and there was so much disjointed padding between the main acts it added to a lack of coherence. Ultimately a very expensive circus show that wasnt particularly memorable. Felt like they had tried to produce it more cheaply. Will not now just book again without seeing some reviews of future shows as I see others have been similarly disappointed and should have done more research before parting with £500 or so for the 4 of us.

Writing a short update to my prior review as I can’t amend that it seems.

I have the barrel and brass monkey’s own chiller unit. What a fantastic bit of kit. This really is UK engineering at its best. Build quality is amazing. You really do get what you pay for - yes these are expensive but worth it if you are serious about plunging and going to stick with it. Company have been amazing to deal with from sales, support and installation - all are really passionate about the product and customers.
