Representative on the phone was really personable and friendly, went through all options and made sure I was happy with what I was booking as I was looking to book 3 different caravans at once. Was a pleasure to deal with.

Visited Parkdean - Southview first weekend of October for three nights. Arrived shortly after check-in had closed, but easily and quickly found park security to check-in. Security was very pleasant during the check-in process. (Reception even called in the morning to ensure we were all-ok and settled in). Little tricky finding our van to begin with considering it was late - not enough lighting, but never mind. We booked a silver caravan which was exceptionally clean, well equipped, comfortable beds and within a good location. Slight problem with flys during our stay? Phone signal / service was very poor however, the site has free customer wi-fi which worked better than the paid for service. The site itself is brilliant for couples (like us), anyone visiting with kids and dog lovers also. If you’re visiting via public transport a bus service runs directly into the campsite connecting you to the local train station, town and seafront. Really good food options onsite - we visited the pub / restaurant and shared a fajita platter which was delicious, the chippy was decent, and we used the app / delivery service for the chicken place which was our favourite. We only visited the clubhouse once - to play bingo, the clubhouse was VERY busy with limited seating. Playing bingo was difficult as the establishment failed to keep the clubhouse quite, so hearing / concentrating was difficult. We also witnessed a table shout for a number (other tables shouted for them also), but the entertainment crew failed to stop the game on time. This would have been avoided had the crew not all been by the caller / booth “chatting”. Both the ladies and gents toilets in the clubhouse were beyond vile a bio hazard infact which was a massive let down, and is the cause of 4 stars instead of 5.

I have never been on such a poor hoilday camp as the one I went to challaborough bay Devon. It was dirty, heath,safely a joke, rubish service.i have complained but no action has been taken.i have now sent information to the BBC complaints,trading standards, they lied when they took my money,

Awful awful awful we visited south view holiday park with our 2 doggies in sept place was litterly full of flies that we just couldn’t get rid of, told the guys when they came round but nothing was done lasted 2/5 nights had to come home. Couldn’t eat in the caravan as too many flies landing on all surfaces and food shop didn’t sell fly spray dogs couldn’t relax as flies were landing on them. Complained to the park reception desk and email back just saying shop stock had nothing to do with them?? no maybe not but how about moving me into another van or offering another holiday/ compensation but nothing. Even told them i left my fridge magnets on there fridge when left they offered to send them out to me via post but surprise surprise i never received them definitely won’t use again

trecco bay is the best park that’s out there,
I have been coming to trecco bay a few times this year and have had nothing but the best welcome from the staff and entertainment

Paul, Tony, Kelsey danni and Kim are very welcoming people and the entertainment in trecco bay is absolutely amazing it’s suitable for all ages and have a variety of entertainment throughout the night!

Staff great park is in good location will defo come back but the caravan was little dirty when we arrived we bought cleaning stuff and cleaned the van ourselfs but apart from that we really enjoyed our stay and will be back next summer x

Pretty straight forward but beware the images are representations only and sea view may not be on the front but one row back looking at the sea between vans

Amazing place, amazing people

clean and tidy very comfy beds fresh clean bedding no towels or tea towel had to go out and buy some but other than that the stay is great love the beaches here and kilnsea is my go to place so lovely and the discovery center cafe is worth a visit . caravan just needed decking for the dog but too bad . great utensils there is everything needed to cook meals . shower roomy and powerful . nice friendly site staff lovely . defo be back

We went to Ocean Edge and it was amazing. The caravan was lovely, clean and spacious. The facilities looked brand new (not sure if they are). As for the entertainment team……. AMAZING! They made our girls feel so special and important. We enjoyed it that much, we have rebooked for next year

Ive been going to cayton bay for over 20 years at least 2/3 times a year sometimes up to 7 and absolutely love the site. We branched out this year and went to Oceans Edge and loved that too, everything is close by and compact. Weve just booked for torquay for next year and cannot wait! Excellent prices, straight forward booking system and friendly staff. Nothing but good things to say about parkdean.

The caravan was stinking of cigarettes.
Everything was reeking.
The sofas,curtains and the bedrooms.
It was that bad,my new jacket that was hanging against a door overnight ,was stinking outside the following day.
You couldn't leave anything sitting on the sofas or you couldn't sit on them without your trousers being stinking the following day.
When you come back from a day out and open the door to the horrible stench,it ruins your holiday.
Reception were informed and they apologised and said they could smoke bomb it.
This is a temporary fix,the same way they do cars..once the smoke is ingrained into the carpets,sofas,curtains etc ,its ruined..
I dont understand why some smokers think that this is acceptable.
Selfish,lazy and utter morons.
The cleaners should know this and not hope the next customer will accept it.
Unless the cleaners are nose blind smokers too.
The park and caravans were nice..

Visited Tummel Valley 25-28 Sept 2026. Booked a silver standard pet friendly caravan for 7 of us.
When we arrived we checked out the caravan and the cleanliness of the caravan was absolutely disgusting. Especially the pullout bed, the dust and mess on bed and underneath was awful. We complained to the reception who had someone come attempt to clean up 1hr later. As the weekend went on we found more and more issues. 1 of which was an infestation of hundreds of dead flies all stuck to the ceiling about the wardrobe. It's as if this caravan had not been cleaned in weeks.
I have followed the complaints procedure onlin, this can take up to 3 weeks for a response, I recieved a response quicker that says it will be investigated and someone will be in touch within another 7 business days. As I wrote this it's been over that and nothing has happened. I have supplied several photos of all the issues and would expect them to seriously look I to this.
Very poor standards and just as poor customer complaints service.

was sold a caravan and have had nothing but issues, fees being piled on and being told pay or abandon the caravan for them to sell on to the next mark. im at my witts end and left with no options. If i had known it was this bad before id have Avoided big time.

Good value for an impromptu 4 night break. Caravan size overall was good but main bedroom was extremely small
Everything you need was there and clean and tidy.
WiFi is included. 👍
Used it as a base to visit the area which works for us.
Didn’t eat there or go to the shows.

Hi just came back from a week in southerness. Very happy with our accommodation and facilities on the staff. Reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly but some staff in the restaurant were not as helpful. Also the cost of drinks and some of the food was a little expensive. The caravan was clean and comfortable and the space around meant it was fairly quiet. We read the details before arrival so brought our own towels. While there we booked for next year at Tummel valley. Booking process was very easy. I think parkdean is a very good option for an affordable stay cation.

I am only giving this 3 stars due to the cleanliness of the lodge, when we arrived there was dust everywhere, mouldy crumbs all down the side of the sofa cushions on both sofas, down the sides of the beds were a whole packet of sweet wrappers, jelly sweets and an ice cream stick. The issue was dealt with and cleaners come to refresh our accommodation.
Our stay itself was incredible, perfect location! I would definitely revisit!

This is the 3rd time we have used parkdean and have found it very satisfying
