to purchase a vehicle, it was a scam, the vehicle did not exist.
I have involved police and solicitors to investigate the scam. I immediately informed my bank (first direct/HSBC) that I had been scammed. My bank were not particularly helpful, so I reported their conduct to the Financial Services Ombudsman (their findings are available if required), to my absolute dismay, the F.S.O. have confirmed that UBS Switzerland, when contacted by my bank, told them they would not return the STOLEN money without their clients consent and advised them to instruct me to contact the scammers!!!!!

My wife and I are both 74 years old and can well afford not to lose £44000. How can a bank of UBS's stature, knowingly give protection to a known serial fraudster? it beggars'
belief.

Our advisor Mehdi is absolutely great, nice and patient. We went here for a new account, and he received us with nice manner. We asked a lot of questions and he reply them one by one perfectly. We had extremely good service out of imagine. We have been to another ubs store but didn’t feel good. Mehdi save our experience. I don’t know how I thank him so much. Merci beaucoup Mehdi!!!

Extremely professional financial advice and customer service over the years. Inimitable counselling and quick reactivity to situations.

It took us 3 weeks to register a company in Switzerland but to open a Business Account with UBS took well over a month. 3 months later and we still haven't been able to get a Credit card in the company name.

This is beyond bad....

As an SME this has been extremely painful and meant a lot of lost business and time.

We thought by signing up with a reputable international bank, that we would be in good hands but we were clearly wrong. UBS are not at all concerned about businesses like ours. Their focus is solely on Private Clients and Corporations.

Avoid at all cost!!

I wen to the Morillons Branch. Scheduling an appointment was very easy and fast. The staff was very attentive and patient. The appointment itself was also quick, opening an account was simple and straight forward. Esteban was the person who helped me, I found him very patient, calm, knowledgeable.I needed English-speaking services, since my French is not very good, and the staff was able to offer it. I felt comfortable to ask questions too and they were clearly. The only thing with this specific branch is that the cell service is bad inside the building (not sure why), but they offer wifi to the customers if they needed it. I had to step outside of the building to receive an SMS, but no big deal.
