Very difficult product to setup, lost my cat the first time using it, works worse than a basic airtag collar. highly would recommend avoiding this product for your cant and to look else where for your GPS animal needs. Would rate 0 stars if I coul.

we have two dogs now. we rely on our tractive to know where our catahoula is when running through the woods and where both are when we are at work. safety incase they got out of the fence somehow

Very very temporary and imprecise tracking. Sometimes I can track. Some times I can’t. Sometimes it shows in a completely different place on the app than it actually is. Plus the monthly rolling subscription is ridiculously priced.

This tracker has been so helpful in keeping tabs on our cat as we can always locate him which makes it easier to retrieve him when needed. We also found the light to be helpful when under a bush. Only negative is the sound is not loud enough for us to hear. But otherwise we are very pleased with this tracker.

Essentially it just works. We have a tracker for our cat who was always going missing but now we see exactly where he is which relieves a lot of anxiety!

Had a few side-issues setting up some of the ‘zones’ but resolved very effectively by their responsive help-desk.

Great value for peace-of-mind.

It's so frustrating that you have to lock yourself into a costly upfront payment subscription. I don't have that money to pay in one go and know that I have lost that money that isn't a small amount to me if for whatever reason the tracker isn't right for me and my adventurous dog. The reviews mention the clips breaking and as he often tears off after deer in the bracken I have low hopes of it staying in place. I'm looking at other options that I can pay monthly. I'm happy to pay a bit extra to make the cost affordable but no, they only seem to want to sell to people with money to burn.

Safe and clear

Tractive is an excellent tool for those who are otherwise non-stop looking out of window to see their cat comming home. Tractive cannot protect the cat while outside, but it can give you an answer what is going on and does not leave you in uncertainty. It also gives a sign, that your cat is not a stray, but has some home. I definately recomand.

It works exactly how I thought it would and it’s the product I was looking for.

Customer service is understanding and proactive in meeting our needs.

A GPS tracker that needs its own GPS tracker

I bought a GPS tracker to find my cat, not to spend my time searching for missing GPS trackers.

My previous Tractive device worked perfectly well for about a year. Then came the CAT 6 Mini.

The first one disappeared on my cat's very first outing. The replacement disappeared too. Two trackers, the same model, the same problem: an attachment system I simply cannot trust.

Meanwhile, I paid £162 for Premium and Tractive Care, with my subscription running until January 2028.

After losing both devices, I contacted customer support looking for a reasonable solution: a different model, a more secure attachment, or a refund for the unused subscription period.

Tractive's brilliant solution? A 40% discount on yet another CAT 6 Mini.

Seriously?

After two identical trackers have already disappeared, I am supposed to pay again for a third one and hope for a miracle?

That is not a solution. That is asking the customer to finance another round of product testing.

A GPS tracker that cannot reliably remain attached to the animal rather defeats the entire purpose of owning one.

And a prepaid subscription is not particularly useful when the device needed to use it is somewhere in the bushes.

I have yet to receive a satisfactory answer about an alternative device or a refund.

I used to trust Tractive. Unfortunately, two missing trackers and this customer service experience have changed my mind.

Perhaps Tractive should consider putting a GPS tracker on the CAT 6 Mini itself. At least then customers might stand a chance of finding it.

Great product. Gives me peace of mind when I take my dog out and let her off the lead.

We moved house and bought the tracker. We are 3 weeks in and it has worked great. A couple of times i had to locate our cat and it work to the inch.
Very accurate and gives a great history of our cats activities

Having a tracker like this is a game changer. Love knowing where my kitty is fir thise few times he wanders or even hides under a bed during a storm. The new shape is perfect

Tracker is exactly what I need for my dog. Sometimes I use tracker also to search where and how I can find members of my family when they are with my dog.

I’ve been using Tractive for nearly 6 years. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can track my adventurous dog wherever she goes when off lead. The device is quick to charge and gives long battery life. Small enough not to be uncomfortable for my little dog.
