Simple, straightforward booking .
Good communication from the owner

Good site to use. I seemed t ok gave to reset my password a few times but that could be because as I was using my phone

Easy enough to use pretty straight forward booking process and got me trip sorted an booked in space of 24 hours you have to wait for host to approve your request apart from that was easy an got exactly what we needed

I found the whole process really easy. The motorhome we hired was exactly as pictured. I will be using the site again ! And recommend to others.

The messaging service could be clearer to use for first time users

Wide range of options and styles of motorhomes/camper vans available. However if you choose one without included insurance the process gets a bit more cumbersome and potentially confusing. I had to resort to working with the underlying renter as to what process needs to be followed. Sorted in the end but a bit of a pain - apparently if you hire a motorhome (rather than basic camper) that when the issue kicks in....something to do with the generic goboony policy not covering heavier vehicles - which covers quite a few motorhome manufacturers!

There was plenty of choice of campervans. The owner of the one we selected replied without delay. The communication with the owner was helpful.

You didn't refund my deposit in full AFTER 1 DAY of confirmation due to being to old to get insurance even with additional information given on booking form. Booking went through even though they read i had asked about my husbands age.
Will never recommend you

Easily bookable through the website and great contact with the van owner. We haven’t had our break away yet so will post again after.

First time looking at hiring a motorhome
Found it very straightforward
When i decided on dates the first one I enquired about I booked

We had a terrible experience with a party renting out their RV. We got accused of having created damage even after the delivery date of the RV back to the owner. Two days after, they claimed there was damage, but we could never verify because the RV was already rented to a different party. If you rent, triple check every corner of the vehicle because in the end, you pay for existing damage. NEVER again, Goboony.

Really easy, supplier extremely helpful

Once you have worked out the vageries of the website it is pretty good. The costs increase as you work through the booking with extras but that seems normal these days. Disappointing that a five day booking involves a 4pm collection and 12pm return.

Mixed experience with customer mediation and listing safetyWhile the support team eventually caught a double-invoicing attempt by the owner and issued a partial refund, the overall experience with vehicle standards on Goboony was disappointing.The motorhome was handed over with multiple hidden, pre-existing taped-up damages (such as a broken bathroom door handle and a taped side mirror) that were never listed or disclosed. During the trip, we suffered severe, life-threatening mechanical failures—including a complete windscreen wiper failure in the rain and a locked clutch.Although the pre-existing damage was verified through check-in photos, Goboony rejected compensation for the dangerous mechanical failures simply because they weren't formally reported mid-trip while driving through remote rural areas. Platforms listing motorhomes should enforce stricter maintenance and safety inspections before allowing unsafe vehicles on the road.

Booked a campervan via the Goboony site. With 4 days to go before my trip I was contacted by the van owner to say the vehicle had an issue that couldn't be fixed in time and he would need to cancel. Fortunately I was in a position to make alternative arrangements as the customer service from Goboony was slow to respond to my requests for clarification and help.
