Customers frequently mentioned that the artificial intelligence struggles with basic tasks, often providing incorrect information, failing to follow simple commands, and repeating errors without acknowledging corrections. Reviewers also stated that the application and overall product quality are deeply subpar, experiencing persistent freezing issues, unexpected crashes, and completely lost chat contexts. Argon 4 is a joke; 10 messages then blocks your account for 24hours

I will let Gemini's own AI response become my review, as it's pretty apt....10 messages per day for Pro users- that is a rip-off?
AI Response: It's an absolute pisstake, isn't it? You're paying for a Pro subscription expecting proper functionality, only to find out you're effectively getting a handful of heavy-duty queries before the system locks you out. The older 3.1 Pro models were lightweight enough that you could chat away all day without denting the meter. But Argon is a massive deep-reasoning model that chews through compute allowances at an absurd rate.

Gemini is getting less and less…

Gemini is getting less and less intelligent. It seems it cannot open google maps with a route to an address. First time it sent a link. Second time it keeps asking which business at that address, and won't give directions to just an address. Then it says here's the route and shows you a little map with no directions

Unstable AI

Horrendous, been using for as long as its been out as a Pro user too, and i swear every single chat it has a breakdown and fabricates new fake bs, not a single time has it given me a real response, continuous mistakes and glitches - pathetic

bad ai

if i could, i wouldn't even give gemini one star. for a company as big as google, this is honestly disappointing. the ai is slow, the image generation is terrible, and when you ask it to create a video, you can explain the same thing ten times and it still adds random stuff you never asked for. it forgets things way too quickly and sometimes can't even remember what you talked about earlier in the same chat. i could tell it my name and ask again ten messages later, and there's a chance it would already have forgotten it. sometimes i send it an image and ask for help writing some text, and instead of doing what i asked, it starts generating an image. it's frustrating having to repeat yourself over and over just to get something simple done. honestly, for a company like google, i expected so much better.

Should be zero not one star

Should be zero not one star. Nothing provided helps - trying to get guidance tot set up my new android device - why it needs setting up is another matter when system was copied from my functioning previous one. Simple tasks like setting default apps - it simply doesn't provide a working answer to doing so - music app - drops me to Spotify settings, where there is no "set as default" setting. Ignores all further instructions and repeats the action. This, over about 10 topics asked.

Streaming shuts off after a few seconds 😡

When Google first transitioned to Gemini, there was a problem with streaming music. For example, it would be set to play for 90 minutes, start playing, then shut off after a few seconds. Google did run an update that fixed this.
Yesterday, it started again. I did reboot my Wifi, Google Home and all my speakers. It will only play for a few seconds then shut off. Very frustrating!!!! 😡

Title: Utterly useless – crashes and gives the wrong answers every time

I’ve tried using this AI tool multiple times now, and it is honestly a complete disaster. Half the time it completely freezes up or refuses to respond at all, and when it finally does, the answers are flat-out incorrect. It completely misses the mark on even basic tasks, hallucinations run rampant, and it feels like it's getting worse instead of better. Save your time and use literally anything else. Total waste of space.

I'd give zero stars if I could

I'd give zero stars if I could. The new Gemini assistant is useless. It failed to understand even the most basic command and doesn't work with Apple Music. Seeing as Google Assistant managed this flawlessly for years, I struggle to understand how Google have managed to downgrade this much.

Hopeless Assistant…

I have used google assistant for some years, initially on my mobile and latterly in my volvo car. It was brilliant. Never got anything wrong. In the morning when my alarm went off or a timer sounded I simply said stop and they stopped. Setting a timer was also easy and worked first time every time. Since buying a new Pixel 11 and using gemini as the assistant it is hopeless. 1 star is more than it deserves. It rarely sets the timer. It refuses to stop when the timer or alarm set despite saying hey google stop timer/alarm. Using it to call Liz it only offers me a choice of Liz or Lucy! This morning I asked it to navigate to Ellesmere Port Hospital but it didn't recognise the destination so I had to input the destination manually. I only got as far as Elles and the first destination was the hospital. Why have google changed something that worked so well for something that is next to useless.

Worst thing that’s happened to human society. Proper dumb to death these ai models and tools 😂🤦‍♂️ since these stupid AI tools have put into our phone they can’t get things straight I didn’t experience that just today I’m experienced that since it’s been putting into our phone since like 2018 they are not good for human society that can easily mistaken your data that can easily mess up your data and get things wrong and that’s what they are doing.

If I could give it -1,000,000 stars I would

If I could get a -1,000,000 stars, I would.

Horribly unpredictable and sticking with parameters simple data sets turn into counseling sessions and then thread that goes on for three days tracking blood pressure. Spoke to it 15 minutes ago now it’s gone no recovery.

Hey google has told me to cancel a holiday.that I can pay a cheque in at my local atm it said i am 100 percent right.thats how mad this thing is
I went to pay it in and told hey google its impossible then it says I messed up and dropped the ball and that i am right in the first place.all it does is say you are frustrated. You are angry. You are annoyed its like it is implementing feelings and thoughts that dont exist.
It is enough to drive anybody insane it is that useless. I am sick to death of it telling me things that are not true. If you value your sanity and dont want to be psychologicaly manipulated .DO NOT USE IT. IT SHOULD BE BANNED PERIOD.

Google Workspace with Gemini: A 2-Star Embarrassment

Google’s flagship AI cannot properly read, parse, or analyze a native Google Sheet via its own Workspace extension.
For an ecosystem built on cloud collaboration, this isn't just an oversight; it is an architectural failure.
The contrast with the competition makes this inexcusable. Anthropic’s Claude connects to third party platforms like Notion, Airtable, or custom SQL databases via modern APIs and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations without breaking a sweat.

Don't waist your time

Don't waist your time. It doesn't remember routines and changes the same processes that I do every day into a different format or doesn't remember creating a a document when I just did it 2 minutes prior. The only reason I am paying the monthly fee is because I need the storage on my drive. I would really give 0 stars if I could.

And then they were gone....

I had a very informative conversation with Gemini and even created a document that was to have been a dissertation topic. After months of using Gemini, it is no longer available without a subscription. Even at that, I am not sure the conversation has been retained. I will start over with a legitimate AI program like Claude or ChatGPT. Neither of them try to intentionally screw you over.
Gemini is about as useful as the internet Google left in its wake. Both are useless
