Good school whit good teachers
You are going too get friends from all over the world and learn better English

In the intensive English course in Malta, the optional subjects are not really optional, as students do not always have the opportunity to choose them. In many cases, information is provided only after decisions have already been made.
The organisation is a disaster. The building is not well suited to its use as an educational facility. There are too few toilets, and the only dining option is a small cafeteria with a very limited daily menu.
The ceilings are low, and the placement of the air-conditioning units is far from ideal. Many students suffer from respiratory illnesses, which may be related to the indoor environment and the air conditioning.

I’ve been studying English in Malta since August 2026, and overall, it has been an amazing and unforgettable experience!

The language courses have helped me improve my English, especially my confidence when speaking. I’m also preparing for the Cambridge C1 Advanced exam. Although the preparation lessons were a little challenging at first due to some organisational and technical difficulties, the official preparation course has been excellent, with clear explanations and supportive teaching.

I’m also very happy with my host family. My host mother is incredibly kind and helpful, and the accommodation is conveniently located just 15 minutes from school.

One of the biggest highlights has definitely been the social experience. I’ve made many international friendships, explored beautiful places around Malta and participated in various activities organised by the school. These experiences have also given me plenty of opportunities to practise English outside the classroom.

However, there is some room for improvement regarding the organisation. My flights, which were booked through EF, included an unnecessarily long stopover, and the private airport transfer I had booked turned out to be shared.

Despite these initial difficulties, I’m really enjoying my time in Malta. I’ve become more confident, improved my language skills and created wonderful memories.

I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking to improve their English while meeting people from around the world!

I’ve had a great experience with EF Malta! The staff are friendly and helpful, the location is great, and the classes are a good way to improve my English. I’ve also had the opportunity to meet people from different countries and discover a new culture. I really enjoy my classes! Amir is a great teacher who makes lessons interactive, so practicing English feels easy and fun. Regarding the SPIN classes, sometimes I found them a little boring, but I think it depends on which class you choose. That doesn’t mean I didn’t learn anything; I actually learned a lot! The staff is also very friendly and helpful. If you have any questions about your accommodation or need recommendations for places to visit, they are always willing to help. Overall, I’ve had a great experience!

If you have any questions, you can stay in touch with your EF contact person from your home country. They help you with all your questions. I stayed in Malta and the campus is great and is located very well. The teachers are also very friendly and open minded and they will always listen to you if you need help.

Very disappointed with EF. We had an issue with the accommodation and there were some assurances given about a partial refund - three months on we are being blanked. It is very frustrating.

An excellent experience—a top-notch school—though the EF residence was a bit less impressive; I had several issues with the bathroom in my room, as it frequently flooded.

1 month of japanese learning in Tokyo. I learned alot, great teachers!!
The spin classes were realy good as well, i chose kanji and grammar. Everything was well exlplained. 1 month was short to learn japanese but i made alot of progress!

It has been an incredible experience! My teacher, Gianmarco, did an outstanding job, not only because I learned so much, but also because of his wonderful way of teaching. His classes were always dynamic, fun, engaging, and inclusive, making everyone feel involved.

He is professional, kind, caring, and attentive, and he always encourages his students to keep improving. Thanks to Gianmarco, it became so much more than just an English class. We became a group of friends who shared a common goal: improving our English together.

I feel extremely lucky to have been part of his class, and I truly hope he continues teaching for many years to come.

I would also like to give a special mention to Bless, who has been an absolutely amazing member of the activities staff. She is warm, friendly, fun, and always ready to encourage, support, and help everyone. She has made my stay in Dublin so much more enjoyable and memorable, and I am incredibly grateful for that.

Although I wanted to give special recognition to these two wonderful people, the entire staff has been amazing. All I can say is thank you so much for everything!

I went to EF San Diego for a month and it was the best month in my life. I made a lot of new friends, spoke English everyday, travelled around California and made so many memories! I would choose EF San Diego over and over again!

I've really enjoyed my experience at EF. I've had a great time, I've changed my surroundings, and I feel great every day. I'm excited for each new morning to begin, with new study challenges, new friendships, new people, and new knowledge. Right now I feel very motivated and very happy. The only thing I've had a little trouble with is dealing with some administrative matters—they've been a bit hard to sort out, but well, those are more internal things. So, from my side, I'd rate my experience four out of five stars. I love my experience and I love what I'm living through in this stage of my life.

My time here isn't finished yet but I'll be writing this anyway.

EF did a really good job in organizing my flights and transfers despite there being a delay in Bangkok. The transport to the host family went seamlessly and the host has been great. The host is far away from the Campus but Perth has great public transport so I've been fine in that regard.

Staff is great, the teachers are professionals and know what they are doing. Staff is Very helpful as well when it comes to pretty much anything.

The central location of the campus makes it easy to explore the city and nearby areas.

The activities are great, decently affordable and the coordinators are also doing a good job.

I didn't know what to expect coming here but I've had a great time here in Perth.

My experience at EF San Diego was incredible! I had so much fun and participated in a lot of activities. The staff always organizes something cool to do. I improved my English a lot while having the best time. I would definitely come back!
