Barry Takahashi is the best! He is full of aloha and expertly guides you through your shipping process. And every one that answers the phone at the Rancho Dominguez site has been very polite and helpful. Picking up orders at Will Call in Kailua Kona is a pleasure. Friendly freight handlers just appear without asking to help load heavy or bulky items. I know that my shipments will be handled in the most cost effective and expeditious way. I initially had a very positive experience with the company and appreciated the expedient service I received. Unfortunately, the San Leandro office significantly dropped the ball during the final stages of my shipment.
After the Guam location connected me with the stateside coordinators responsible for receiving my items, the San Leandro team failed to provide an invoice or payment instructions needed to move the shipment forward. As a result, my items remained at the property for over a month without any notification or follow-up to me as the customer.
It was only after I proactively reached out to inquire about the status of my shipment that I was provided with the invoice and informed that my items had still not been shipped. This was particularly disappointing because, up until this point, the company had provided good and responsive service.
The lack of communication and follow-through by the San Leandro office created an unnecessary delay and left me unaware that anything was needed from me to complete the shipment. I am still awaiting the shipment of my items and hope the remaining process is handled more efficiently.
Overall, my initial experience was positive, but the poor communication and lack of follow-through from the San Leandro team significantly diminished my overall experience.
