I called and was told they would only charge me 41,00 and I see there taking 77.00 this company is not a safe site to order on. PayPal is definitely not safe.
I would advise anyone not to deal with either one PayPal or luminess. Save your money on this these 2 company they will rob you trust me. I spoke to luminess, because there were trying to charge me $171.00 for eye lashes extensions, order on and they said I oder try it and pay later. So I get this bag with 8 of these items, 171.00 I didn't order 8 first of all. I was out of town and my bank stopped payment. I called them and was told just pay 41.00 I'm a senior citizen on a budget and they're trying to steal all my money for ordering one.and it don't work anyway. I will spread the word about thus company and PayPal on FB.

y ii had an issue with the free trail that puts a hold on 60 plus dollars and I reached out to luminess and they explained show I had agreed to this when I signed the terms and conditions that I clearly didn't read good enough. Anyway the company did immediately get rid of the hold awhich was my whole reasoning foe the bad rating. I just wanted to clarify the first review that I gave.

It’s a scam if you order from them you are automatically signed up for a subscription for very expensive monthly charges. I had to argue with customer service for 10 minutes and threaten to file a complaint with the FTC to get a refund. Even then I didn’t get all my money back they deducted $11 for shipping.

The product only tends to face did not cover anything. When I called to return the product, they told me the bill was $88. I asked them, what happened to the $39. They wouldn't respond after I threatened them. They said they wouldn't charge the eighty eight and would cancel it two hours later, the eighty eight tried to go on my account. I contacted my bank and identified fraud. Because I didn't authorize it and they said they would cancel it

I only want to purchase 2 products. But I didn't know i was signing up for 2 different subscriptions. Be aware of that! The company did finally cancel my subscriptions, but I'm still waiting on the refund of the second payment. They told me they would refund it, and I have a confirmation number for that. I'm wondering how long it'll take to fix my negative balance they caused!!

YEAH RIGHT! They charged me for $37!!! Called it a "pre authorization," and are saying it "may" fall off in 7 days?!?! My actual card transaction history says it is actually a "charge," not a "pre authorization"! If I could possibly leave a review with ZERO STARS, I would! I'm a very UNHAPPY CUSTOMER & this is only my very first interaction with Luminess!

Don't trust this company. I ordered once 4-5 years ago, and for the last 4 months, I've suddenly received Luminess deliveries of items I didn't purchase and $67 in charges on my credit card. Deceptive marketing practices!

I would’ve rated this as a zero, but you can’t do that. I thought I was signing up only for the trial which was supposed to be five dollars and some cents however I ended up getting charged over $200. I tried to contact them. I tried to call and send emails to no avail. I finally had to contact PayPal and ask them to refuse any more charges from this company. I consider them a total scam. I couldn’t tell you if their products are any good cause I won’t try them because I’ll never buy anything else from them.

I used 3 products of this brand, all of those were so bad.They were of very poor quality.
They charged me $74 for the trial. They dud not mention that if you return it within a month, you get a full refund; otherwise, I was charged a total of $139 for their poor-quality products. I do not recommend this brand at all; they are completely dishonest, and the quality of their products is very low.

Scam alert!!!! I ordered only foundation, when I checked out there was an extra 9 products in my order that I did not order, try before you buy is bullcrap, they charged me 60 dollars, I closed my account told them I no longer wanted the order, I got my 60 back, they still sent the products and now just got charged another 200 dollars, I need my money back!!! Immediately!! This is against the law!! I cancelled on time so they wouldn’t send me anything, actually the same day I placed the order, and they still sent it, now I have to pay to send it back also!! Do not give them your card info!! Trust me on this!!!

I ordered the try before you buy liquid mirage foundation and added on a few other suggested products. I only wanted to keep the foundation, which I really enjoyed. It looks very natural and fit my complexion perfectly. When I contacted the company to ask how to return unwanted items, they were so amazing, I was told I could keep all 4 products! Made my day.

I agreed to a trial product of Luminess airbrush spray - a small 1 oz can with brush was mailed to me. I thought after 14 days, I would be sent a full size product and If I did not like it, I could return it for a credit. Today, I noticed a $54.96 charge on my credit card. I called the company and was told the tiny product I received as a trial offer was actually the full size product and I was supposed to return it to them within 14 days of receiving it, if not satisfied. I am now cancelled with them and feel foolish not to have understood their policy. I certainly would have returned the product to them within 14 days, as I did not think it did the job as advertised.

I purchased two items, they mailed me several and wouldn't allow me to return after only two weeks. I loved the foundation but the powders really clogged my pores and I wasn't expecting the subscription fees. They have some good products but some transparency would go a long way.

The first thing I would like to address is that they have the " try it before you buy it " so when you order the foundation, they place the charge on your credit card for $69 but say that that won't be credited unless you keep the product. The second problem with that is that they didn't just send me the foundation they sent me two other kits and each of them retail for $39 a piece. You have 14 days to get a refund. I called within 5 days and they tried to convince me to keep the product at an 85% discount. I told them that I didn't like the product and then I didn't order the other 2 kits they sent me. So she really tried to convince me to keep it for $28 instead of the $120 plus tax. You have to pay for the return shipping. They really try to convince you not to do that and to keep the product. I told them I was fine to pay for the return and she tried to tell me it would cost that to return it. Bullshit! So she put me on another hold and next thing I know.. they charged me $6.51 shipping and told me to keep all the products. My credit card wouldn't be charged anymore.
That's just shady business practice if you ask me!!

The colors weren’t what I expected and didn’t match my skin tone. The spray did not cover flaws like it clams.

Terrible customer service &fraudulent product. The product is certainly not worth the money.
Buyer BEWARE. Once you buy a try before you buy, Company keeps sending product time after time. Charges become more and more expensive! Customer ripoff!

They have deceptive practices. Do not trust that your free trial for only 5 is true. They took over 40 dollars out of my account. Which I do not have and put me in over draft. Come to find out (which did not tell me anywhere when signing up) That they will actually charge you 88 every two weeks or month.

The luminous site was a rip off! I was on vacation when I received this product in the mail. Not realizing that it had to be returned within a 14 days I ended up being charged for that package plus they sent me another one. What kind of racket is it?

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. THEY KEEP CHARGING YOU WHEN ALL I DID WAS ORDER 1 TIME. THEY CHARGE ME EVERY MONTH AND I HAVE GOTTEN NEW DEBIT CARDS AND THEY GET MY NEW NUMBERS AND EVEN THOUGH I HAVE MY CARD FROZEN THEY WILL TRY AND CHARGE MY CARD ON A DAILY BASIS AND ITS DIFFERENT AMOUNTS. MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY SAYS THEY HAVE A MACHINE THAT GETS YOUR NEW DEBIT CARD NUMBER SO IF YOUR CARD ISN'T FROZEN IT WILL BE CHARGED. THIS COMPANY WILL NOT STOP CHARGING YOU. I'M GOING TO HAVE TO CLOSE MY CARD FOR GOOD TO GET THEM TO STOP BECAUSE CALLING THE COMPANY DOES NOT HELP!!

If there was a zero, I would have left that. this company has 3 stars-I know why. They are scam artists. Plain and simple. They just keep sending products and tell you that have subscribed. (I didn’t as I was buying one travel size for a trip). I called, emailed, cancelled on the portal, etc. Contacted my credit card but Luminess is slick enough to have an “unblocakable” access to your credit card. (Because that is their whole plan). They are even now, still sending the product to a place I haven’t lived at for 8 1/2 months. Their product is not worth what they will put you through.
