Purchased a gas hob through third party. Reported Gas leak problem from Hob. They took a week to send a third party repairer to inspect. Their engineer acknowledged a leak ,suggested a new hob will be fitted and left my existing hob partially built. Several communications with this company and promises of returned calls still not heard from them in the three weeks.
From my experience would avoid this manufacturer in future .The hob is covered by their warranty ,as it’s only a couple of months old! According to Network Gas there shouldn't be no gas leak at all, but according to AEG a minuscule one is ok!

Bought a combi oven, after a kitchen revamp. Above was a hide and slide oven. We needed a grill function, and this combi came out better than the rest. Yes it can grill but its functionality is near impossible to fathom, selected through a submenu, rather than a selection a knob. The supplied “pans” have no handles, all very complex for us simpletons. Overall the oven does what it purports, and maybe ideal if this was the only appliance, but as a secondary oven it is way to complex just to get a grill… which incidentally is not too efficient at that!

Great product, bit pricey but it works exactly as described, happy.

They had the wrong model number henceforth parts wouldn’t fit on first visit second visit the engineers were very professional in the machine was fixed but a small wire was broken in the machine wouldn’t dry third visit. The engineer was very knowledgeable and had it fixed within half an hour. AEG did a good job.

This is a new tumble drier. The drum was rubbing as there was evidently a problem with the four wheels that support the drum.

The first technician to visit changed one wheel as that is all he had with him. He said that if there were further problems all four wheels should be changed. I passed this message to AEG when reporting a repeat of the original problem. AEG told me that this message was passed to the repair subcontractor.

When the problem repeated the second technician arrived knowing nothing of the previous problem or the necessity of replacing the other three wheels. He could do nothing.

The third technician changed one wheel which provided normal drying service for just over an hour.

Reporting the problem again the same technician came for the fourth visit and changed the two original wheels. The machine has been working well since the last visit.

There is something missing in the communication and feed back between AEG and within the subcontracting company.

Apart from our weeks of problems the machine is now working well.

Avoid using AEG Fixed Price Repair. Job is subbed out to Pacifica. One engineer on his own will avoid at all cost removing a built in fridge freezer and blame anything to avoid the job. Absolutely no diagnostic tests carried out and only at property for two minutes. An absolute rip off at £192 for a Fixed Price Repair with no repair undertaken. Avoid AEG and get a local repair company in. Pacifica also cancelled first appointment and came 3 days later!

We have only had our American Style Fridge Freezer for 4 years and it has broken down 3 times the first time within weeks of our purchase. The Engineer has visited on several occasions to try to sort it but we’ve now been told it cannot be repaired. We have contacted AEG regarding this but they have basically washed their hands of our problem and told us there is nothing they can do to help. It’s all been very frustrating as this was a very expensive fridge freezer which will now have to be scrapped!! Very disappointing service from AEG

Could'nt wait to have an induction hob again after moving to a new house with a ceramic one supplied. Wanted a good reliable one so picked the AEG one and paid for AO to fit it for us. Very pleased.

Excellent service

Washing machine purchased from Curry’s was faulty, drum kept filling with water over night when turned off. This machine was returned and another AEG installed. Same problem occurred. We now have a Bosch installed which is perfect.

We needed an oven that would bake cakes, cook roasts, etc. We found the Aeg at a good price and purchased the oven. It arrived on the day booked. We then had it installed easy. The first use was for baking cakes which came out perfectly cooked. We would recommend Aeg to anyone looking for a new oven.

I would have given 0 stars if that option was available. The extractor is really poor. The engineer who visited was not interested in dealing with the problem and just said it was an installation issue. It is has taken up a lot of time and further expense.
