5-Day Risk-Free Trial: Test a Philippines Remote Hire Before You Commit

Work with a shortlisted Philippines remote candidate on your real tasks for five working days. If you decide not to proceed, you pay no recruitment fee – only the candidate’s trial salary (25% of the agreed monthly salary) and a SGD 100 admin fee. Kaizenaire employs and manages the candidate under Singapore-law contracts throughout.

This trial offers a unique opportunity to experience the expertise of our top-tier professionals while discovering Kaizenaire’s tailored offshoring approach. With no risk involved, it’s the ideal way to discover how we can help elevate your business operations with confidence and ease.

How the 5-day risk-free trial works

  1. Tell us the role you need. You send the job description electronically before the trial, and we source and filter candidates in the Philippines against your criteria, including English proficiency.
  2. We arrange online interviews – you interview at least one candidate within 7 working days of us presenting them.
  3. You confirm the candidate you want to trial. The trial starts within 5 working days of your confirmation, or on a date we agree in writing.
  4. You work with the candidate on your real tasks for 5 working days. The trial is strictly 5 days and cannot be extended – it is designed to force a clear decision on real evidence.
  5. On day 5, you decide: proceed to a full placement, or walk away with no recruitment fee.

What happens on day 5 – and what you pay

If you decide not to proceed: you pay the candidate’s trial salary – 25% of the agreed monthly salary, roughly one working week – plus a one-time SGD 100 admin fee per candidate. No recruitment fee is payable, and there is no obligation to continue. That is what “risk-free” means here: the trial itself is paid work for the candidate, but you are not committed to a placement.

If you decide to proceed: we move to the ongoing service agreement – a one-time recruitment fee of 15% of the annual salary package (payable in three monthly instalments), a flat SGD 350 monthly management fee, and Kaizenaire remains the candidate’s employer under Singapore-law contracts, running payroll on the 5th and 20th of each month. Every placement includes a one-time free replacement within the first 90 days for the same role.

The figures above are our standard terms. Every engagement is scoped individually and confirmed in writing in your trial and service agreements, and some terms are personalised case by case. Frequently asked questions

Is the 5-day trial free?

No, and we are upfront about that. The candidate is doing real work, so you pay their trial salary – 25% of the agreed monthly salary – plus a one-time SGD 100 admin fee per candidate. “Risk-free” means no recruitment fee and no placement commitment unless you decide to proceed.

What happens if I do not want to proceed after the trial?

You confirm your decision at the end of the trial, pay only the trial salary and admin fee, and that is the end of it. No recruitment fee is payable and there is no obligation to continue.

Can the trial be extended beyond 5 days?

No. The trial is strictly 5 working days and cannot be extended. It is deliberately short: enough time to evaluate real work, not long enough to become unpaid-decision limbo for you or the candidate.

What happens if I decide to proceed?

We sign the ongoing service agreement: a one-time recruitment fee of 15% of the annual salary package, payable in three monthly instalments, plus a flat SGD 350 monthly management fee. Kaizenaire remains the employer, runs payroll on the 5th and 20th of each month, and provides a one-time free replacement within the first 90 days for the same role.

Who employs the candidate during and after the trial?

Kaizenaire does, under contracts governed by Singapore law. You direct the candidate’s day-to-day work, but you never take on foreign employment, payroll or compliance obligations yourself.

Could the candidate I want be offered to another company?

Yes. Good candidates are scarce and may be presented to more than one client, on a first-come-first-served basis. If you want a specific candidate, confirming quickly matters.
