Surfshark is the easiest for streaming. Say you need/want to watch a Netflix show in another country. You can easily find the best server in that exact location. Best of all I have never experienced in lags or denial while I'm out of the country.

I have been a customer for multiple years, I actually didnt use it this past year but I forgot to cancel to I paid anyway. Today was my renewal date and I decided to cancel the service because I no longer need it. The credit card on file was expired but I still decided to cancel my subsciption and do the right thing.

As soon as I logged it to cancel my subscription, they were able to charge the expired card. I reached out right away to the customer service to reverse the charge, after all, the renewal date for 1 year subscription is today.

But dispite being on renewal day, they won't cancel the charge, they won't issue a refund and they simply refer to their terms of services. No 30-day money back guarantee after the first year, no refund on paid subscriptions even if you didn't want to renew.

I'm not even 1 day late, I've been a good paying customers for the past 3 years and I found these practices super skectchy.

Anytime you really need it, it will let you down. It simply doesn't work on any restricted network. I use it for years, but now if I have to sum it I would say poor service with very poor assistance

Their product worked but their app was very annoying in that I couldn't cancel on the app. They made me go on their website.

Also you really have to be careful because they show the price and say /mo but then it also shows you the default plan it brings you to had pricing for 2 years which is ridiculous.

Their monthly price that's not on a term is 6x the price which is also crazy.

This is by far the very worst service I've ever used. Totally incompetent. The service works only half the time and they do NOT respond to emails!

This is a great product which is basically fire and forget. As with any VPN, there are times when you need a bypass and this one requires the fewest of the ones I've used.

Then there are the add-ons which further solidify your security and these are entirely optional so you can pick those you actually need over a higher priced VPN which provides features you don't use or want.

I have been using Surfshark for a few years now and watched it evolve. It just gets better each year.
Would never search the internet without it.

Their customer support sorted out an issue. But make sure you are speaking to them as some other company claimed to be their support and wanted to charge for the service. These guys don’t charge and have sorted. (Thanks Miles).

Isaac Kelly was an awesome SurfShark customer service representative who answered my questions and was a great help with my current plan. He was very professional!

Worked well until it didn't. I was subscribed for multiple years when suddenly the charge for a 1-year subscription nearly doubled with no change in the package that I was receiving. (And before Surfshark replies - no, I am not referring to a promotional rate ending, as my promo rate ended long ago and that was not an issue. And no, this was also not a price difference due to an exchange rate/currency conversion.)

When I checked the pricing page and reached out to customer service, all their own pricing guides confirmed that I was overcharged by approximately $100. Customer service was extremely difficult to deal with and tried to gaslight me into believing it was the correct amount, even when the pricing website they sent me themselves clearly showed a dramatically different price. Customer service rep kept just saying that promotional pricing is different from regular when I was NOT asking about a promo ending and stated that repeatedly. And again - they sent a link to Surfshark's OWN website which clearly stated the annual price in my currency, and which showed that the actual price was $100 less than what they charged me. Interacting with this rep was like talking to a brick wall. Either they didn't understand, or were being intentionally difficult, but either way it was some of the worst customer service I've dealt with.

They refused to refund me the amount that I was overcharged and told me if I wanted a refund I needed to cancel my entire subscription.

Not sure why I would resubscribe to a company that dramatically overcharges me, tries to gaslight me into believing they didn't overcharge when their own evidence shows that they did, provides no explanation or accountability for doing so, and then fails to provide a simple solution.

Unless you want to be monitoring your credit card statements like a hawk, I would skip this company.

Pleased with the quick connection to the VPN with multiple servers and the antivirus feature as well.

I had an issue with a new subscription and was going to cancel. The handler Gina I think helped me navigate the settings and get it working.

I already regret subscribing to Surfshark. It frequently routes my connection to a completely different country than the one chosen - almost always India. On top of that, many connections block access to everyday sites like YouTube, making the VPN unfit for purpose. To make matters worse, the mobile app does not work at all.

​The nominal saving over other providers simply is not worth the hassle. This has been a completely shambolic experience from day one and I have never received a single reply to my numerous flagged complaints. I am going straight back to NordVPN when my contract expires. I would recommend avoiding Surfshark like the plague.
