We recently stayed at Heatherbrae I for the long weekend and the experience was so good. The views over the Harbour Bridge were so good. Clean, immaculate accomodation that we will be telling our friends about for when we next visit to Sydney.

We had such a wonderful experience using Getawayz. We stayed at Cliffside and its the best holiday home we have ever stayed at. James and the team were fantastic and we cannot recommend them more highly!

Over $6,000 paid—deeply disappointing value and flexibility
We booked Ridgedale Cottage in Bayview for a month, paying over $6,000 for somewhere comfortable during my husband’s recovery from heart surgery.
His hospital stay was unexpectedly extended, followed by cardiac rehabilitation. I explained our circumstances and asked for a date change, a partial refund, or credit towards a future stay. Despite these requests, no refund or postponement was agreed.
We eventually checked in on 9 September. For the amount charged, the property’s preparation was disappointing: there was no internet connection, still unavailable on day two, no dishwasher tablets, and a BBQ so filthy we could not use it.
Management did respond to our complaints and apologised. However, my main concern is the amount we paid, the condition we encountered, and their unwillingness to offer a workable solution during exceptional medical circumstances.
We stayed only six days, but were charged the full booking amount and have received no refund. Management said on 16 September that they were discussing compensation with the owner. By 28 September, we had received no decision and had to follow up.
I understand that bookings have conditions, but after paying over $6,000, I expected a properly prepared property and more flexibility when a serious medical situation disrupted our plans.
This experience left us feeling let down at a time when we needed comfort and support. Based on the value and handling of our circumstances, I would not book with this company again.

An amazing experience dealing with James and the team for managing my Crows Nest unit. For anyone looking for an Airbnb / short term manager for their property, Getawayz NSW is the best!!

Our 3 night stay at Banksia was divine. Gorgeous secluded location with views to die for. The home was pristine and had everything we could possibly need. Outdoor bathtub was a hit also! We will definitely be back

The view was absolutely incredible, and the property immaculate. The experience of booking the property and communicating with the Getawayz team was so smooth and they were extremely helpful.

We stayed in the Bondi property - Artscape - for 3 nights and I wouldn’t recommend the experience. The good - when we discovered two televisions weren’t working properly the staff were responsive. The bad - the property is in desperate need of maintenance. The walls in the main living room were stained, with chipped/cracked and peeling plaster. The blinds have paint stains on them as did the cushions on the couch - how hard is it to wash or replace cushions. In a particularly cold winter week (6 degree morning) there is no proper heating source in either living room, just portable heaters. The cupboards in second bathroom are rusty around the trims. The mattress in the main bedroom is ancient - springs gone - to the extent that some sections sink low when you sit on the edge of the bed while others are hard. My back is still recovering several days later. I would not recommend anyone stay in this property and, as a result, I wouldn’t trust the state of their other properties as the company is clearly not doing their due diligence before leasing these holiday properties. Certainly not good enough for $620 a night. An unpleasant stay for a break in Sydney. Avoid! Spend a bit extra and stay in the Adina or QT around the corner.

Great company to deal with. Nothing was a problem and property was amazing

We had such a great stay at Hidden Valley Eco Lodge. The location is absolutely stunning — surrounded by nature and incredibly peaceful. It was exactly what we needed to switch off and enjoy a proper off-grid weekend.

The lodge itself had everything we needed, and the whole experience felt relaxing from the moment we arrived. Waking up to the quiet and the views was a real highlight.

We’d definitely love to come back again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to disconnect and recharge.

Our experience with using Getawayz NSW for our holiday stay was amazing. From the first communication with Host James, to our stay in the property @cottage point NSW and beyond has been so easy and a great experience.

The property was in great condition, making our stay so enjoyable. The location is breathtaking whether summer or winter the property as a getaway is in a tranquil and picturesque location.

Practical information. The property and amenities are excellent. Full kitchen with Dishwasher, showers and toilets were spotless, all linen and towels provided. The swimming pool was maintained and clean. Given that the pool is surrounded by trees the pool cleaner kept it in a very clean condition.

We will definitely visit again and Getawayz NSW will be our host.

My family and I recently stayed at Chris’II and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. The place is exactly as described and a beautifully designed place with everything you require. Dealing with James was great and his communication was 10/10. I would thoroughly recommend this place and thank you James for having us.

We had such a wonderful stay! The place is absolutely beautiful and the view is even better in person—it made for such a relaxing getaway. Finding the location was a breeze, and the hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our trip. Highly recommend!

Definitely recommend !! Spent one night here and loved it! Saw so much wildlife, bed was so so comfy, everything i needed and wanted was in arms reach. Check in and out was a breeze. I will be staying again! What an insanely beautiful place they have created for us here.

We stayed purposely to watch the Sydney New Year's fireworks and the views from the apartment were amazing. The staff were very helpful in getting us to the apartment.

Fantastic loft, compact but beautifully appointed. Great location a couple blocks from Hyde Park and World Square, in a smaller SoHo-vibe neighborhood with dozens of great restaurants and shops within a three-block radius. There's a 24-hour parking garage a block and a half away for your rental car. The management company was quick to respond and made an easy check in and-out experience. We'd happily stay here again!

Amazing stay in this townhouse, located in the vibrant Newtown neighborhood, in a quiet street. The house has all the amenities (coffee machine, washing machine, dishwasher,...). The host was super friendly and offered a sparkling wine for NYE celebrations and famous ANZAC biscuits.
