Handling ITMS-91061: Missing privacy manifest
An ITMS-91061: Missing privacy manifest rejection email looks as follows: ITMS-91061: Missing privacy manifest- Your app includes "<path/to/SDK>", which includes , an SDK that was identified in the documentation as a privacy-impacting third-party SDK. Starting February 12, 2025, if a new app includes a privacy-impacting SDK, or an app update adds a new privacy-impacting SDK, the SDK must include a privacy manifest file. Please contact the provider of the SDK that includes this file to get an updated SDK version with a privacy manifest. For more details about this policy, including a list of SDKs that are required to include signatures and manifests, visit: https://developer.apple.com/support/third-party-SDK-requirements. Glossary ITMS-91061: Missing privacy manifest: An email that includes the name and path of privacy-impacting SDK(s) with no privacy manifest files in your app bundle. For more information, see https://developer.apple.com/support/third-party-SDK-requirements. : The specified privacy-impacting SDK that doesn't include a privacy manifest file. If you are the developer of the rejected app, gather the name of the SDK from the email you received from Apple, then contact the SDK's provider for an updated version that includes a valid privacy manifest. After receiving an updated version of the SDK, verify the SDK includes a valid privacy manifest file at the expected location. For more information, see Adding a privacy manifest to your app or third-party SDK. If your app includes a privacy manifest file, make sure the file only describes the privacy practices of your app. Do not add the privacy practices of the SDK to your app's privacy manifest. If the email lists multiple SDKs, repeat the above process for all of them. If you are the developer of an SDK listed in the email, publish an updated version of your SDK that includes a privacy manifest file with valid keys and values. Every privacy-impacting SDK must contain a privacy manifest file that only describes its privacy practices. Urgent subscription fix still waiting after 5 hours of expedited review
My app is live, I’ve already spent money promoting it, and people can’t subscribe. I’m losing potential customers while the fix sits in the review queue, and I’m honestly really frustrated. I was told my corrected submission would still get expedited review, but it’s been almost 5 hours with no movement. I contacted support around midnight and still haven’t had an actual response, just automated acknowledgements. I’ve tried calling too, but phone support has been unavailable all morning. Is there anyone from App Review who can please look into this? I need to know if something is holding it up or if there’s anything else I need to do. This is affecting my business right now.

App Store Connect W-9 Tax Information Cannot Be Updated, Finance Support Unresponsive Since July
I'm hoping someone here has experienced something similar or knows of a way to escalate an unresolved issue with Apple Finance Support. I've been trying to get my tax information corrected in App Store Connect since July 20, 2026, and nearly three months later, I'm still unable to get this resolved. My address has already been successfully updated elsewhere in App Store Connect. However, the address associated with my tax information, along with my tax exempt status, still needs to be corrected. Unfortunately, these are fields I cannot update myself and require Apple's assistance. Here is a timeline of what has happened so far: July 20: Initially contacted Apple regarding the tax information issue. Before September 10: Submitted another support request after the issue remained unresolved. September 10: Received an acknowledgment and Case ID from Apple. September 22: Followed up requesting an update. September 28: Followed up again after receiving no substantive response. October 9: Still no resolution, status update, or meaningful response from Finance Support. What makes this especially frustrating is that my app is otherwise ready for release, but the unresolved tax information is preventing me from launching it on the App Store. I've seen other developers mention being quoted approximately 10 business days for Finance Support responses. My current acknowledged case has been open well beyond that timeframe, and my original attempts to resolve this go back to July. I've continued replying to my existing support case rather than repeatedly opening new ones, but I'm not making any progress. Has anyone recently managed to get a response from Apple Finance Support regarding W-9 corrections or tax information updates? More importantly, is there an alternative escalation path when an unresolved tax issue is preventing an app from being released? I'm not looking to bypass any tax requirements. I simply need to correct information that Apple does not allow me to edit directly. Any advice or experiences from other developers dealing with this would be greatly appreciated.

App Review Stuck in “In Review” for 5 Days – No Review Decision
Hi everyone, I submitted my app for App Review on August 14, 2026, at 2:39 PM. I later submitted an updated version again on September 9, 2026. The latest submission has been showing “In Review” for the past 5 days, but I still haven’t received any review decision or additional information from the App Review team. As I understand it, once an app enters the “In Review” status, a review decision is generally provided after the review is completed. However, in my case, the status has remained unchanged for several days. Has anyone experienced a similar situation recently? Is it normal for an app to remain in “In Review” for this long, or is there anything I should do from my side? Any advice or guidance would be appreciated. Thank you!

Guidelines 4.3(a) and 4.2.6: Publishing separate apps for multiple companies under one or separate developer accounts
Hello everyone, I’m developing a work management app using React Native/Expo for multiple companies. The apps share a common codebase and similar core functionality, but each company has its own app name, logo, bundle ID, and company-specific data. Each company wants a separate app publicly available on the App Store so users can search for and download it. Private distribution through Custom Apps or a single shared app with a company selector would not meet their requirements. I’d like to understand how App Review Guidelines 4.3(a) and 4.2.6 apply to these two scenarios: 1. All apps published under one organization’s developer account Our company would develop and publish all client apps under our own Apple Developer Program organization account. Is there a compliant way to support this model? What requirements would each app need to meet? 2. Each app published under the client company’s own developer account Each client company would enroll in the Apple Developer Program and publish its app under its own organization account, while our team handles development and assists with submission. Could these apps still be rejected under Guideline 4.3(a) because they share a codebase and similar functionality? For both scenarios, I’d appreciate clarification on the following: What differences in functionality, content, or business workflows would help establish each app as a distinct product? How does Guideline 4.2.6 apply to this shared-platform model? What supporting documentation should we provide, such as development contracts or letters of authorization? How should we explain the business need for separate apps in App Review Notes? Has anyone successfully implemented a similar model? I’m looking for a compliant, sustainable approach, rather than a workaround to the review guidelines. Thank you for your advice and experience.

Two New Apps Stuck on “Waiting for Review” for More Than 7 Days After Rejection Fixes
Hello everyone, I submitted two completely new apps to the App Store on the same day. Both apps were initially rejected, and I addressed the issues identified by the App Review team and resubmitted them. However, both submissions have now remained in “Waiting for Review” for more than seven days. I have already contacted Apple Support regarding the delay, but I would appreciate hearing from other developers who may have experienced a similar situation. My questions are: Has anyone recently experienced this kind of delay with first-time app submissions? How long did it take for your apps to move from “Waiting for Review” to “In Review”? Is there anything else I should do, or is it better to leave both submissions in the queue? I would prefer not to withdraw the submissions and upload new builds unless there is a genuine reason to do so. Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Initial iOS Release Waiting for Review for 7 Days — Guidance Requested
Hello Apple Developer Community, I am seeking advice regarding the review timeline for our initial iOS application, GoldEngine AI. Our app was submitted on 4 October 2026 at 11:12 AM and has remained in "Waiting for Review" for seven consecutive days. Application details: App: GoldEngine AI Apple App ID: 6818722861 App Store version: 1.0 Current status: Waiting for Review Submission date: 4 October 2026 We contacted Apple Developer Support on 8, 9 and 11 October. We have not yet received clarification on why the submission remains pending. Meanwhile, subsequent builds have been successfully processed and made available through TestFlight. However, the outstanding initial submission prevents us from progressing with the standard App Store release and update process. I have noticed several recent discussions describing similar delays, ranging from approximately 4 to 16 days. I understand that review times vary and that Apple may require additional time for individual submissions. I also recognise that Apple Developer Forums are not an official channel for investigating individual App Review cases. I would appreciate guidance from developers who have experienced this situation: Have you encountered comparable review delays during October 2026? Did your application eventually enter review without further intervention? Did requesting an expedited review help, or did you simply continue waiting? Is there a recommended way to verify that a submission remains correctly queued without withdrawing and resubmitting it? We are keen to avoid unnecessarily resetting the review process. Thank you for sharing any relevant experiences or practical guidance. GoldEngine AI HealthyHedgehogs Ltd

Existing screenshots not displayed in Preview
My App Preview videos display correctly, but none of the existing screenshots are visible in Preview. Both the released version and new created version. However, in the Asset Library (one of the newly introduced tabs in App Store Connect), those screenshots are marked as used in all versions. I tried to re-upload the screenshots or browse from assets, but the system returned an error. I suspect this happens because the screenshots are already attached to the version but fail to display, which prevents any new screenshots from being added. Another similar issue is that previews for newly added assets disappear as soon as the web page is switched. I uploaded a video/screenshot for the Header and Search Results. Although it processed successfully, the preview does not display unless I manually click the Preview button. Furthermore, if I navigate to a different page in App Store Connect (such as switching to another localized language to add a new asset) and then return to the original language, the preview is completely gone. However, according to the Asset Library, the header asset has already been successfully added. It appears that the Preview function in the newly updated App Store Connect is experiencing bugs. Currently, this issue is blocking me from submitting new versions. Filed FB25118327

App Stuck on “Waiting for Review” Since last 2 weeks
I submitted my app for review on Friday, October 2nd, and it has been in the “Waiting for Review” status ever since. I was hoping to release the app before the festival season begins in India, but the extended review time is making it difficult to meet that timeline. Has anyone faced this long waiting time for the first time app review?

App Store Review Taking Longer Than 48 Hours – Anyone Else Experiencing Delays?
Hi everyone! I've read that most App Store reviews are completed within 48 hours, but my app has been waiting for review since Thursday, October 8. It's now Monday, October 12, here in South Korea (KST), which means this is already the fifth calendar day. I've already announced the update to my users, so I'm honestly not sure how to handle this situation or what to tell them. Is anyone else experiencing similar delays? How long have your app reviews been taking recently? I'd really appreciate hearing about your experiences. Thanks!

App Stuck in "Waiting for Review" for 10 Days
Hi everyone, The app was submitted for review 10 days ago, and since then, its status has remained "Waiting for Review" with absolutely no movement. Current situation: App Name: Complex S.I.L.A App ID: 6818184948 Platform: iOS Status: Waiting for Review Waiting time: 10 days No updates or requests for additional information from Apple We understand that review times can vary, but 10 days without any activity seems unusually long. Has anyone experienced similar delays recently? Is there anything we can do to get the submission reviewed? If an Apple engineer or forum moderator could check whether the submission is stuck or requires any action from our side, we would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

Upfora still “Waiting for Review”, any advice on next steps?
Hello, We first submitted Upfora for App Review on September 15, 2026. Since then, we have submitted several updated builds as development continued. On October 1, our submission was rejected because the login credentials provided for the review were not working. We promptly fixed the issue and resubmitted. Following another update, our latest submission was made on October 7, and its status is still “Waiting for Review.” We have also requested an expedited review, but the status has not changed. The delay is holding up our marketing and promotional plans. Upfora is already available on Google Play, and our iPhone users are waiting for the iOS release. Could anyone advise on the best way to follow up with App Review, or whether there are any additional steps we should take? App ID: 6812258703 Thank you for your help.

Two weeks in review cycle, launch postponed – what escalation options have worked for others?
Hi everyone, App ID: 6802780228 We’re hoping to hear from developers who have dealt with long review times recently. We first submitted for review in September, and since then our app has spent the majority of its time waiting in the queue. Our most recent build spent 8 days in “Waiting for Review” before we received further feedback from App Review on October 8. We addressed it the same day and resubmitted. Steps we’ve taken so far: expedited review requests, two formal support cases (Case IDs: 102989126804 and 102987790575), a Resolution Center message requesting a call with App Review, and a new expedite request for the current build. Our account is in good standing, with all agreements and DSA compliance active and metadata complete. Our launch in Athens, Georgia was scheduled for October 7 and has been postponed, with local partners and committed marketing spend waiting on availability. Has anyone found anything beyond these channels that helped get a timely review? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

App Reviewers Ignoring Changes Made?
Confused, first-time app dev/submission here. Apple had an issue signing into my pre-created trial account in my first submission. Because of this, I corrected, made updates, tested myself, and re-submitted with a new test account that I confirmed work on my end. After resubmission, I waited a week for the team to respond with the exact same issue. However, in their notes, they included the same email and password from the first submission, despite me altering them entirely to correct the initial error response. This makes it seem as if they didn't even review the notes to check for updated account information. Additionally, aside from the notes, I also ensured that the app information included the updated test account so they could see it in both locations. I, of course, responded with a question, ensuring that I made changes and needed more information other than a copy-paste of the same error from the first instance, which contained entirely different login information. Wondering if anyone else has dealt with this before, and if there is a way to encourage a speedier review as I submitted the initial version of my app nearly a month ago and everything I have read claims that 48 hours is the standard. Best, And thanks in advance for any help, advice, or answers!

(App ID: 6815556191) Has remained in "In Review" status since September 30th.
My app is named "星桃" (App ID: 6815556191). After the initial version was rejected on September 29th under Guideline 2.1, I provided the requested information and resubmitted it for review. Although the status changed to "In Review" on September 30th, there has been no progress since—it has already been 11 days. I inquired about the review status via email on October 8th (Case ID: 102989599223); we received a reply stating that the review had been expedited, yet there is still no movement. Could someone from the Apple team please look into this and help me understand why it has been stalled for so long?

It says: "There are still screenshot uploads in progress." when submit a new build
I'm submitting a new version of my app, and after click "submit for Review", it show that: A few more items are needed in order to submit for review The items listed below are required for submission:There are still screenshot uploads in progress. I didn't met this problem before. Is that mean I haven't upload all the screenshot required or it's still uploading the screenshots to App Store Connect's server? Cause before there is a "save" button after you drag images to the screenshots area, now you don't. And I think I have uploaded all the screenshots needed and I waited a day to try submit again, still the same. What should I do?

Expedited App Review granted twice but submission still stuck on “Waiting for Review”
Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can shed some light on an App Review issue we're currently experiencing. We have submitted our Caffè Sabrina iOS app (version 1.0, build 5) for review. The app was previously reviewed by Apple and we were told that the demo account credentials we had provided were no longer valid. We immediately fixed this by creating a completely new demo account, testing it successfully, and updating the App Review information in App Store Connect. We then resubmitted the app. The submission has been sitting at “Waiting for Review” since Wednesday at 7:57 AM. The unusual part is that we have now requested expedited review twice, and Apple confirmed that the review would be expedited. However, the submission still hasn't moved to “In Review.” We've checked everything we can think of: Current build is correctly submitted. New App Review credentials have been tested successfully. App Review information has been updated. The latest build has been tested through TestFlight. The latest build has had installs and multiple sessions. There are no known crashes on the latest build. The current submission has not been cancelled or resubmitted again. We're now several days beyond the expedited request and are concerned that something may be preventing the submission from entering the review queue. Has anyone else experienced an expedited review being granted but the app remaining stuck on “Waiting for Review” for several days? If so, did Apple eventually move it into review automatically, or did you have to contact App Review again? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Michael Darling Tech Ltd

Cannot cancel tvOS version In Review — API 409 STATE_ERROR.ENTITY_STATE_INVALID and UI “Try again later”
I have an App Store version stuck In Review. I need to cancel / remove it from review so I can submit a newer build. I contacted Apple Developer Support. They said they cannot manually remove the app from review and that I have to cancel it myself. I have tried everything on my side: App Store Connect web UI → Remove this version from review / Cancel Submission App Store Connect on iPhone App Store Connect API (canceled: true on the review submission, and removing the submission item) Every attempt fails. In the UI I get errors like “An error has occurred. Try again later” / “Your changes could not be saved. Try again later.” Via the API I get HTTP 409 STATE_ERROR.ENTITY_STATE_INVALID (“Resource cannot be canceled at the moment, please try again later” / “Cannot remove item because of state of reviewSubmission”). The version stays In Review. I’ve reproduced this in Chrome and Safari, and on the phone app, plus the API so it doesn’t seem like a browser-only issue. Has anyone gotten past this when Support says you must cancel it yourself but Connect won’t let you? Any workaround, or is waiting for Apple the only option?

STUCK IN “WAITING FOR REVIEW”
Hey, I hope anyone can somehow help me get past this, I’m stuck in “waiting for review“ status for 8 days now and got no response or any help from apple support after contacting them twice. Asking for expedited review didn’t help also, I’m stuck here and don’t know what to do if even the support doesn’t work…
