Warren made this experience great!!!!
He is the manager at the new Britain location.
This man is five thousand stars!!
My experience from start to finish was amazing. He truly cares about people and is just an admirable human being!! I will continue to do my business with this location due to my experience with Warren.
Stellar Customer Service
We were travelling to a memorial service and had been on the road approximately 5 hours when we started losing air in one tire while on the Mass Pike. By the time we got off the Pike and to the closest place to get air, the tire was mostly flat. The closest tire store was Town Fair Tire in Natick, MA. We pulled in about 20 minutes before closing on a Saturday. The manager, Carter, could not have been nicer or more accommodating. He patched the tire and had us on the road in less than 30 minutes. Absolutely stellar customer service -- I would give more than 5 stars if possible!
Stephen and Miguel were just so…
Stephen and Miguel were just so friendly and helpful!
I would recommend These guys and Town Fair Tires to
anyone who want professional people to help their customers pick out the best tires for their cars ! I only use Town Fair Tires in Stamford ! As I always say when you got the best forget the rest !
Town Fair Tire does not care about customers
I stopped in my local Wallingford Connecticut Town Fair Tire three weeks ago to get a quote for tires using a competitor price that I found. Two weeks ago I made an online 8 AM appointment for these tires and an alignment. One week ago I physically went into the store to confirm my appointment and to ensure the tires would be there because I had an early morning appointment and I was told that they would be on site from the warehouse several days before my appointment. I brought my car in the day before at 2 PM for my convenience. If the tires weren’t there, they could’ve taken care of it at 2 PM.Shame on me for not asking if the tires were there, but I was told my car would go right in at 8 AM that I had the first appointment of the day. At 1:30 PM the day of my appointment I called and I was told my tires just arrived at the store (WHAT!!!?) and my car would go right in and be done in an hour and a half. I called back at 3:45 to check the status and was told my car had not yet gone in. Ok, now I’m steaming/close to boiling over. I was incensed and got a manager (Roger) on the phone and went over everything stated above and said that the fact that my car was not finished and my treatment as a customer was unacceptable. With all the steps I took there is no reason why my car shouldn’t have been finished hours ago. He said to me that he didn’t even see my appointment in the computer and he asked if I confirmed it (like this whole debacle was somehow my fault) and I told him I would show him my email confirmation as well as my text confirmation where I confirmed my appointment while I was standing at the TFT counter when I dropped my car off. The customer service has gone way downhill at my local Town Fair Tire. I’ve noticed this the last few times I went in there and from now on, I will take my business elsewhere. The sad part is I fully expect my car not to be done today after my car has been in their possession now for over 26 hours and it is 8 1/2 hours since my appointment time. This is an overall terrible experience and shameful treatment of a customer.
ADDENDUM-when I picked my vehicle up the manager, Roger, did give me a discount on my final bill for my troubles and the poor service that I received overall. It was definitely the right thing to do but better customer service needs to be a priority.
Fantastic
Fantastic
Was in Lebanon and was in a rented car , live abroad. They were so patient and did the tyre quickly and efficiently . Highly recommend
Thank you sooooo much Logan
It was such a pleasant experience I was…
It was such a pleasant experience I was cheerfully great when I walked in store Howard was smiling as he asked how can I help you all the staff seemed cordial and helpful under Howard's direction they were very helpful in me getting the services I needed I have already highly recommended this store to other I know
They were terrific!!
They were terrific!!! I bought 4 Michelin tires and saved $300! They were accommodating, professional and offer lots of free maintenance services for the tires. Couldn’t be better!!!
I called a local store to get status
I called a local store to get status, after being on hold for a while someone picked up. Said the car "would be ready by the end of the day" (which is 5 hours after I was told it would be). She offered to route me to the local store (the number I called). She then indicated she had a different number. I asked for the number. She hung up on me
I booked my appointment a week in…
I booked my appointment a week in advance and received a confirmation, so everything seemed set. Three days before, I even called to double-check that the wheel I needed was in stock. I was told it wasn’t, but that if they ordered it that day, it would arrive by Saturday—my appointment day.
When Saturday came, I showed up only to be told my appointment had been canceled and wasn’t even in their system. On top of that, they couldn’t find my email because my name was considered “weird,” which made the situation even more frustrating.
To make matters worse, I later found out the number I called wasn’t even for the local store—it was the district office. That explains the miscommunication, but it doesn’t excuse the lack of coordination. Overall, a very frustrating experience that could have been avoided with better communication and organization.
Friday
Thursday, went in to have tires re-balanced as there seems to be some vibration going on. Made an appointment for Friday at 4:30. Arrived Friday 4:20, reception says I need 1.5 hours but they close at 6pm. So they will do it in 10 minutes? Guy says lets look at what you have, than says oh no we can't do this as its less than 1/8 trade depth and we have insurance issues. I left and when home measured 9/32s with a tool. So I travel to their store twice spending 4 hours in traffic and really all the wanted to do is sell me new tires otherwise f off. If I could give them a negative score I would. Location Hyannis MA, Me Chatham MA.
Awful everything
Awful everything, rude customer service, shoddy workmanship, could care less about their mistakes and blame the customer needing other work done. Bought 4 tires and they were not balanced properly causing wear the first few months. Brought it back and would only rotate tires saying I need alignment. Tires for a truck should last a couple years, I will probably be lucky to get one year on these expensive, cheap crap tires they slapped on. After tire rotation they left one tire just about flat and over inflated the rest. Don't know what they are doing and don't care. NEVER go here in vernon ct EVER
Three hours for a tire swap?!?
I made a 1:30p appt to swap out my winter tires for summer tires. It was an easy swap because the summer tires are on their own rims. I elected to wait because they told me it would be about 90. Double that, it took just under 3 hours for this simple task. Granted it was free but 3 hrs is ridiculous. I found out that they were understaffed. If they told me that when I arrived, I would have left and came back later. Simple communication would have helped. I've been going to this place for a few years now and they keep getting worse. Might need to find a new place.
Town Fair Tires of West Lebanon AWESOME WORK!!!05
Town Fair Tires of West Lebanon, NH was AMAZING!!
"Billy" and his crew helped me through an emergency flat tire issue last night and this morning when I needed to get to an event in NYS today! Forever grateful and I am going to utilize them next fall when changing out my regular tires for winter snow tires. Many thanks Billy and crew for going beyond the call of duty! Steve S.
TOWN FAIR Not the way they used to be
Not the way they used to be, I had an appointment for 8:00AM, the store opened a little large a crowd of people pushed before me(im handicapped.) when i sat down, i saw my name way down the list, walk-ins were ahead of me, and they were taking their cars in. mine was still out in front. when i got up to complain and saw the time on the monitor it was going to take, the rep. said oh, its going in now. it was 2 hours, and the walk-ins came and went i'm still sitting there. i spent $1100.00 and was treated like cattle. not ever again! I will go to Pete's Tire Barn Franklin Ct. My Wife and i have gone to Town Fair Tire for years! but will not take disrespect like today!
You should avoid this place at all…
You should avoid this place at all costs. Rude, unprofessional staff. Walked in and went to counter, the guy just stood there looking at me. No hi.., can I help you? He just looked at me until I had to say something. I said "I have appointment"... Nothing... Not a word from him. He worked on the keyboard. Finally he asked for last name, then keys. That was it. Not another word like where is the car, how long it might be, or have a seat we'll call you when it's done. With a place like this who needs the DMV.
Another visit I asked to torque lug nuts to 80lbs. Got home and they were over 120lbs. Imagine taking those off some cold dark night. Waiting for my car and had to overhear copious 4 letter words from workers. Also heard customer complaining for 2 years about vibrating stearing wheel after buying new tire. They kept balancing tire but turned out they put the wrong type of tire on the car.
Made appointment for a nail in tire. 45 minutes later they hadn't even started the work. There was no one else waiting but when questioned manager said he is allowed 90 minutes for appointments... so a nail takes 1.5 hours for waiting appointment customers?
This used to be my go-to place for tires. Now, it's just another untrustworthy, poorly run company without anyone who knows anything about management and people. Time to find another place. Shouldn't be too hard to find someplace better than this dump.
Fantastic and Professional Service Received
Fantastic Professional Service form my local Seekonk TFT Center. I'm a long time client, over 20 years, and had a slow flat tire, drove my Jeep to my local shop, also realizing I needed the rotation and alignment process, and the TFT Men took immediate, fast and professional care and got me back on the road in short time. FYI, my real first job (now 71 yrs of age), lasting 7 years, was a professional Auto Reconditioner for many of my local New Car Auto Dealerships in which many of the used cars also required me to perform the required tire work. As you may know, it is beneath a professional auto mechanic to perform tire work.
Dishonest Business
I brought my new vehicle to Town Fair Tire in Wallingford, CT to upgrade the tires less than 2 weeks after purchase. During the tire replacement, the tech closed the garage door on the tailgate and damaged the rear bumper, resulting in $4K of damage.
The store manager in Wallingford did not disclose this information to me, and I had to find it myself - when confronting them about the damage, they denied being responsible. After several minutes of discussion, they admitted to damaging the tailgate but would not take responsibility for the bumper.
When dealing with their customer service team, I was initially led to believe this would be made right, however their director, Rich Allen, took the same stance as the store manager who had originally lied to me. I am now left to deal with the cost of repairing the bumper myself.
I highly recommend NOT doing business with Town Fair, particularly their store in Wallingford, CT on North Colony Road. If you must do business with them, request that the store manager do a 360 check of the vehicle with you to identify its current conditions prior to one of the techs taking it into the garage and repeating the process before leaving their property. Doing so may save you a couple thousand dollars.
I was told because I left the property, it was not evident that they had caused the damage, keeping in mind their store manager did not disclose that they had damaged the vehicle until confronted.
Overall, dishonest business with prices that are matched by just about any of their competitors - not worth risking the damage to your vehicle.
Bristol associates are nice but I took…
Bristol associates are nice but I took my vehicle there 3 times because they cannot seem to get my alignment correct. Steering wheel is off center and they try to make it sound like it’s in the tires. Tires are in great shape. I think they have sub standard mechanics working on expensive vehicles. Not happy. Been around cars a long time and it seems like a bullshit act.
BAD BAD BAD NO ANY RECOMMENDATIONS
when you get there first they make you feel you in heaven specially manager ed. sell you for 4 tires with everything included(lifetime road hazard insurance, lifetime rotation) when you have a problem with tire quality (like bubble) they say this problem not from the tire. they don’t want to help you for. yes you understand me correctly. it’s with lifetime insurance. they says you have to pay lifetime insurance when we replace the tire. this is insane. they don’t want to do business in good way. this is called stealing money. after these conversation i talked to corporate customer service phone number from connecticut (800) 972-2245 with michael barbaro. he was so mean. he wasn’t listening quietly when i talked. interrupted me several times. after hard talking he put me on hold and talked to east providence branch. after talking with them offer me %7 discount for new tire and rotation. i said no i don’t have to pay. he back to talk with branch then offer me %10 discount. i said no. because i don’t have to pay. lifetime insurance meaning only one time you pay then don’t pay if something happens to tire. i have a big problem here. also few months ago i bought 4 breaks here. more than disappointing. like i said, show your money they make you person in heaven, if no money they will tell you go hell👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 HOW THEY GETS 4.9 stars. because they give you a piece of paper with google recommendations for them. give me 5 star. and of course you are nice person. you want to help to their business. this is happened to me from manager ed. anyway folks never recommend to anybody. especially uber/lyft or delivery drivers
Appointments are lacking
I've been to three or four Town Faire shops. The guys there are always friendly and helpful and do a good job. My only problem with the company is their "appointment" schedule. Tire changes at any shop I've been to are an all-day affair, even with an appointment. It's been my experience that a 10:00 slot, for example, means I'll get the car back at 2:00 or later, which is nuts for someone who has to wait in the shop all that time. I realize that stuff happens, but there doesn't seem to be a priority for folks who have booked in advance.
