Top quality maps
I can highly recommend these personalised OS Explorer maps! They make lovely presents, but we have occasionally bought them for ourselves for holidays - particularly when our base falls on a border of two (or even three) other area maps. They might seem expensive but just buying one saves on buying perhaps three standard maps in this case. They also make fabulous souvenirs of holidays well spent exploring. Arrive very quickly considering they are printed to order too.

Great book - but wrong size!
Re the new book from the O.S. 'Mapping Britain' by Will Millard. Although the production quality of the book is high, with an interesting narrative and a pleasing design, the maps contained within are just too small for the reader to discern the details. Why did the O.S. and author choose a small sized format for the book, when it so obviously needed to be printed in a larger format.

Explorer Series just the job
My recent purchase was from the Explorer Series. Fabulous detail and a great confidence builder on first-time routes. The paper copy is a bit awkward to take on a power walk but great for cementing a route in my head. The mobile app works great on my phone. Shame I can't get my purchased map on my Mac. Many thanks OS!
