I booked a car for 4 days when I got there, the car I ordered was not available, so I was given another one, a peugeot, when I had ordered a polo, all right until then, but when I was asked to take pictures of the car from all angles, I noticed that the car was completely full of muted scratches, until the windshield was cracked, and in addition, the light of the back number plate was hanging, the car inside full of stains, there was many risks to put everything in pictures, so I asked the man there. to go and see the car. He didn't like it and spoke badly to me, he told me that they weren't new cars and that I didn't pay to have a new car and that I was supposed to pay the insurance that I didn't need to worry about. After speaking arrogantly, he said that he would see another car that I refused because they are all scratched full of dents.
He told that for the money I have paid the car was good.
Not the best people to work with.
I asked the man for his name and he said Luis but didn't give me surname saying that I'm not a police officer to give me is name.
When I ask for the rent refund he told me that I lost the money I lost all.
Waste of money time
Worst company to rent and have a car.

Very good expérience
The experience with klasswagen was reassuring and allowed us to have a vehicle and not to worry about everything that revolves around the rental thanks to reassuring people.
Matias took back our car at the end in a kind way and worried that our experience went well. He guided us for the return shuttle and was very friendly.

We had to buy an additional insurance policy, because the one bought online wasn't covering everithing, but on our contract there was written that the policy bought online covered everything

Extortionate addional charges.
We were picked up from Faro on time. But then we were driven 12 mins out of Faro to an isolated area. Once there even though we had booked with Autocar Europe and paid for full cover serious upselling began. €150 deduction for 15 days (no reason) a damage bond of €2400. We were advised a 1 cm Scratch would cost €600 and that the car was not owned by the agency Auto Europe if the car broke down or had a puncture a further €500 charge would occurr. We were advised that in the event of an accident our full cover with auto Europe would not cover the cost of the car which could be €7000 or more depending on the damage. Needles to say we were not happy with this. We contacted Auto Europe who were lovely but not very assisting. We left without the extortionate insurance and declined to take the car at all. Would now recommend avoiding both companies. Had a great trip in Faro.

As for the damage deposit, the amount and conditions are clearly stated on the rental voucher. The deposit reflects the maximum potential liability in the absence of local coverage and is intended to cover potential repair costs in the event of damage to the vehicle.
Any damage charges are calculated based on the type and extent of the damage, the associated administrative costs, and any period during which the vehicle cannot be used while repairs are carried out.
Our staff is trained to explain the rental conditions, answer customers’ questions, and present the available coverage options. While we aim to ensure customers understand the potential financial responsibility associated with each option, the final decision always rests with the customer. We apologize if our explanations came across as too insistent.
We regret that you ultimately decided not to proceed with the rental and appreciate you sharing your experience.

One big scam, avoid as fire in the hole, crew not helpfull, no usefull. scam fees, lazy as hell, they use ome van from airport to place of picking up cars, driver is not interseted about you or your luggage, he doesnt care about you or if you were waiting for transfer. It does not matter if have paid any insurance - you need to pay additional insurance on site (350€) or leave deposit 2400€. Any problem - for example flat tire - admistration fee 100€ + 140€ tire. So hope you see the picture. I domy recommend.

Complete rip off! Stay away!
Picked up a Fiat 500 Hybrid in Lisbon. The car had 118,000 Kms, dirty, scratched up junk. Had to pay US314.00 for insurance or leave US$1,433.00 deposit. I never trust leaving deposits in foreign soil, it takes forever to get it back and you are at their mercy with your credit card. At 200 miles from Lisbon, oil light goes on. Checked and could not see a drop of oil on the dipstick. Bought one quart of oil for 20 euros and nothing. Bought another quart and then saw the mark, but still missing another half quart. When I got back and showed them the invoices, they said I had to have a bank account in order to get my money back! Never did. Then I got their Via Verde transponder, which as I found out, had no battery, so we got yellow light at every toll booth. Upon returning, he said that it would take over a month to get an invoice from Via Verde, so my 180 euros deposit stayed locked. Then they charged me US$119.00 when, if you check, it costs an average of 25 euros to travel from Lisbon to Porto. STAY AWAY! Complete rip off!

Untrustworthy rental company – definitely not recommendedn a car rental is booked for…
When a car rental is booked for collection at a specific time, it is reasonable to expect that the vehicle will still be available if you arrive later.
However, when I arrived just over two hours after the scheduled collection time, I was told that my reservation had been cancelled. Instead, they immediately tried to sell me another rental at a significantly higher price, which felt like a blatant attempt to take advantage of the situation.
They didn't send an email, message or anything clarifying that I should pick-up the car exactly at the starting rental time.
I ended up renting a car elsewhere for a quarter of the price they were trying to charge me. I will also be submitting a formal complaint through the booking platform.
Extremely disappointing experience. In my view, this company prioritises making a quick profit over providing a fair and reliable service. Not trustworthy and certainly not recommended.
