I booked by expedia, after all the hidden fees, I paid more that what I should have paid with a major brand, in short, above major brand prices, with cheap option experience, staff at pick up was friendly, but failed to completely disclose the charges
Great service. I had to cancel my trip. And they keep the payment for futures car rental .

Don’t book a car with these people, whatever you do. With all the hidden and tricky fees, it ended up costing me 100% more than the actual rental price!
To get there, you have to take the Tube to Hatton Cross and, as there is no lift, walk up two flights of stairs with all your luggage. It took them 50 minutes to send a car to collect us. I was then driven to an obscure and secluded location, where they aggressively tried to pressure me into buying fully comprehensive insurance for £300. They also demanded a copy of my bank statement and took a £1,500 security deposit from my credit card.
When returning the car, they tried to get me to agree to what they claimed was damage to the vehicle. They said certain panels needed to be resprayed and that there were scratches on the alloy wheels. It was all quite ridiculous.
Things escalated further when their manager came out and told me that if I didn’t agree to pay for the repairs, they would take my entire £1,500 deposit. He said they had a price list of charges for each supposedly damaged part of the car.
With three of them standing around me, I felt quite threatened. I started recording the conversation and threatened to call the police. I followed the manager into his office, fully expecting him to continue pressuring me into agreeing to pay for the alleged damage. However, as soon as I mentioned that I had booked through EconomyBookings, he suddenly said there would be no charges!
By this point, I had been arguing with them for 30 minutes.
Sadly, the story doesn’t end there.
I was charged £25 for washing the car and £33.33 for express drop-off, which I did not use and am still trying to get refunded. They also charged me £60 in administration fees for Dartford Crossing late-payment notifications. I received three notifications for a total of just £10.50 in fines. Car Rental Square charged £180 in administration fees for these three notifications alone!
On top of that, they charged me an additional £60 administration fee for a notification that didn’t even exist. I am still in the process of trying to recover that money.
In total, the administration fees cost more than the car rental itself. Their business model seems to be built around ripping off their customers rather than providing a decent rental service.
Google “Flexways Heathrow” and see for yourself.
I strongly urge EconomyBookings.com to remove these operators from its listings. Avoid them at all costs!

The Man who did the paper work for us was really nice and friendly, and when we dropped the car back the lady was nice and was easy drop. The whole process was so smooth and easy. And the location where we got the car was 5 mins away from the airport.

Would like to thank Diego Lara, for his help with our car rental in Guatemala City . He was fun, kind, smart , and was only interested in helping us get a good rental experience. He also spoke very good English !

Disappointing Experience with Flexways – Hidden Fees, Long Wait, and Incorrect Return Address
My experience with Flexways was extremely disappointing. First, we had to wait approximately one hour for airport pickup, which was frustrating after traveling and expecting a smoother rental process.
The additional fees were another major issue. The rental terms and charges were not clearly explained to my satisfaction at pickup. I was surprised by a $149.95 deposit waiver fee when I would have preferred to have the company place the $1,000 security hold on my credit card instead. I was not given the opportunity to make that choice with a clear understanding of the cost before the charge was applied.
To make matters worse, the rental return address listed on Booking.com was incorrect, creating additional confusion and inconvenience when trying to return the vehicle.
I booked through Booking.com expecting the rental details, fees, and return instructions to be accurate and transparent. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of those expectations.
I would advise future customers to carefully review every fee before signing the rental agreement, confirm the airport pickup procedure, and independently verify the vehicle return address before traveling. I also believe Booking.com should review this rental company's practices and ensure that the information advertised on its platform is accurate.
Overall, this was a stressful and disappointing rental experience, and I would hesitate to use Flexways again.

I booked my car last minute for travel to Miami. There were not many options and Flexways was by far the most reasonable option. I gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised by their friendly and fast service. I did not have to wait in the long lines at the rental center. They picked up with a couple of minutes of calling and in a few minutes I was on the road. The people were great, the vehicle was what I needed for the errands I was running, and everything was very smooth. I would definitely use them again.

Booked and prepaid a rental car 15 days in advance for LAX pickup. FlexWays cancelled my reservation on pickup day right before I land to LAX, saying they were overbooked. Left me scrambling for a same-day replacement at 3-9x the price with my flight already landing. A confirmed booking means nothing here — book elsewhere. Terrible experience ever

I booked a car with you through Stress Free Car Rental Bulgaria, but three days before my trip, you cancelled the reservation and Stress Free Car Rental Bulgaria informed me that you, Flexways, would cover the price difference for the new rental (€330.79). Finally, you offered me €284.86, and I accepted; however, after 50 days, Stress Free Car Rental has not transferred the money to me and I asked you and you told me that Stress Free Car Rental was supposed to make the transfer, but they gave me the runaround again, and I still haven't received it. Please, could you please talk among yourselves and resolve this matter?

They farm out the rental to a local supplier 20 minutes from the airport without telling me. The car I reserved wasn't even close to the piece of sh*t I received, and the contracted company took an hour to get to the airport to meet us. Flexways help number had me on hold for 20 minutes until I hung up. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Please don’t rent a car from FlexWays. They are scammers who steal your money. Nothing they advertise or promise is true.

I am very satisfied with the service: the reservation, pickup, and return of the vehicle all went smoothly. I received support throughout the entire process, and all my questions were handled with a certain level of urgency.

do not rent from this company. they purposely hide all the hidden fees that will more then double the price of the online booking fee quoted. I was charged for the shuttle and a sports venue fee. They do not give you a rental agreement at the counter, but it's emailed to you after all the extra charges have been applied to your credit card. I rented my car at 9:30 am, but didn't get a rental agreement sent to me until 3 pm in the afternoon. Spread the word

Dear Flexways Team,
Thank you for your response.
I have already emailed your Quality Department with a detailed explanation of the issue and am currently waiting for their response.
This matter has caused me significant stress and concern and this is not good for my health . I kindly ask your Quality Team to provide a clear, step-by-step explanation of the charge and why I was not informed about it at the time of booking.
I would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to receiving a clear response and resolution.
Best regards,

First appearance was great collected us from airport no issues, asked us to take photos of the vehicle which we did, they didn’t come out to the vehicle and wasn’t interested in looking at any damage we found just said take photos which we did and a video HOWEVER on return the story changed a lady came out asked to see our photos then proceeded to go round the vehicle finding the smallest marks which were already on the vehicle but too small to show up on the photos or in places you wouldn’t think to look, she also pointed out a tiny scratch on the front bumper which was covered with dirt, but surprisingly she seem to know it was there. Also a crack on the bottom of the bumper which you practically had to kneel under the vehicle to see, absolute rip off merchants, thankfully I have my own hire company so pointed this out and caused a bit of fuss and they agreed to not charge us, just be very careful if using this company and take photos of absolutely everything.

Renting a car at the Flexways office at London Heathrow in September 2026 was by far the worst experience we have had with car rentals. Unusual requirements such as the need to take a copy of our passport, to see a utility bill or bank statement with our address, to provide proof of a return ticket, etc. are things we are not usually asked for. Made us concerned ab out identity theft. There was an aggressive attempt to sell us additional insurance when we had already take a collision damage and comprehensive protection policy. This included telling us that our credit card would not run for £2,500 but was perfectly OK for a £500 security against safe car return. An attempt to press us for an advance cleaning fee and a warning that there would be an additional fee if we returned the car excessively dirty: very non-standard. We were surprised at first that there is no shuttle from the Heathrow terminal and the so-called courtesy shuttle from Hatton Cross underground station did not run every 15 minutes . It seemed to be on demand and took some time to arrive. It took 30 minutes plus for a minivan to arrive and the driver was not at all helpful in assisting us with our bags.
We feared the worst when we returned the vehicle. The inspection of the vehicle was unduly arduous and we were not made to feel at all like valued customers. Checkout took over 20 minutes and we were made to wait another 30 minutes for the 'shuttle' to arrive. The vehicle we took had over 60, 000 miles on it but, to be fair, it drove well and the pricing was very good but we would have preferred to have taken a more expensive option in exchange for a more pleasant experience. We would not use Flexways again, certainly not the London Heathrow branch.
