The trip took place on Monday, October 5, 2026, with a 9:00am departure time from 11th & 35th St. The vehicle was not an actual OurBus and was a smaller bus. There may have been a total of four passengers at most on the bus. It was destined for Atlantic City (AC). And now the issue: The Driver. The driver upon meeting him was not the most pleasant person considering that he was not very helpful in responding to some questions I had regarding my seatmate who had been running late and I was concerned about the possibility of them missing the bus - which, as it turns out was the case. I opted to sit in the first seat. When the time came to depart, the driver entered the bus, sat down and left. There was nothing said to us - the passengers, regarding the trip, i.e., information about the bus, safety measures, or general information that is normally provided to passengers. During the ride the driver was on his phone (headphones) for much of the ride. During the ride the driver actually took out food that was wrapped up in aluminum foil. In essence, the driver treated the bus as if it was his personal vehicle, rather than a public accommodation - which is what it is! Lastly, upon reaching AC I departed the bus and found my luggage outside the bus and on the ground! I looked directly at the driver and after a moment he did pick it up and moved it closer to where I was standing at that moment. The driver then retreated back on the bus and proceeded to close the door. As I stood there I witnessed the attendant from inside the casino had to practically dash from inside to the bus. She went past me over to the driver side of the bus. When she was done with the driver she and I both went inside the casino together. The driver did not enter the casino or check in with the casino attendant upon arrival at the casino. I made note of the bus number and name for future reference. The driver was horrible and extremely unprofessional. In sum, the whole experience was unsatisfactory! I have availed myself of the services of OurBus on numerous other occasions and have never had such an experience. I am hopeful that this will be looked into and it will not happen again.
