Ovago.com is completely worthless. They have no clue on how to help you manage your flights. For most international travel, baggage is a huge cost factor, especially for longer trips. Ovago can’t manage having one ticket with baggage and the other without. It was like talking to a stone wall. They sent five different offers , NONE of which addressed baggage fees.
When asked they were baffled. “Checked Baggage raises you ticket by $200 to $400 at least. Why would you want to do that?”
“Because we are traveling for two weeks (or more), and we need just one checked bag for our nice clothing options”
Crickets.
“We can’t do that. But here’s a good price with no baggage. Does that work?”
“Ah, NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT.”
“OK. We’ll send it anyway because we can’t do it any other way. Thank you for waisting your time.”

Hi I'm from nyc .it was a wonderful experience dealing with your agent during booking. Her name is Oge she exceeded all my expectations . Throughout the booking process. She spoke very clearly ,concise,she was very patient,and courteous. She explained all my options and helped overcome all my objections with superior professionalism and company information . I will definitely recommend others to book with ovago all because of the wonderful positive interactions i had with agent oge. I will book again with ovago it's my new home.

Horrible customer service, my flight was canceled and they didn’t even help me figure out the issue. I tried calling the airline and they said I had to talk to Ovago. After many attempts to contact them they have not helped out what so ever!!!

BEWARE! BEWARE! They are a third party which find you a cheap airline and if you have any issues with your flight they don’t care!!! I got stuck in a third world country and it took me four days and three different countries to return. I was supposed to fly back home to New York from Montenegro on the 29th of August only to have multiple flights cancelled by the airlines because they overbook and I didn’t get home until September 1st. I had to go through 3 different countries unnecessarily and sleep over in one, the struggle to get home had me traumatized. Plus they don’t care or try to help, but they know how to take peoples money. I would never buy through them ever again. I didn’t even know that my tickets are through united airlines, if I wanted my ticket from them I would have gone to them directly. These people are a scam!!!! I’m out of three thousand dollars for the flight, $2400 from work from me and my husband ,$800 for the taxi that took us to the airport on the 29th and had to send us back to the hotel because our flights were cancelled.

My travel ticket was complicated because of the company’s policies that made it hard to pay for the tickets but Bella was very helpful. She made everything easy. Thank you

My case is a bit complicated. Your team especially Greyson did a good job to help me all the way from booking to the end!

I bought two tickets for my mother and I at the total cost of $1,656.36. I received a confirmation email, saying the tickets were processing and should be available soon the next day. Due to this confirmation I booked my hotel as
well as other transportation. Later the next day I received an email from a Mitchell, offering me to switch flights to a different time, claiming it was a “better” option. I ignored this email as the other
presented flight did not work for my schedule. The day after this I received a call from an unknown number which did not leave a voicemail or any kind of message, therefore I ignored it. The number called me once more the next day and this time left a voicemail claiming to be a representative from Ovago, in the voicemail they said there was a price increase which they must speak to me about. Immediately upon seeing this I called them back to find out what was going on when they informed me that the price of my flight had increased from the time I booked so I must now pay the difference. The difference that they expected me to pay was over $400 plus tax. They claimed to have left messages and emails prior to the 9th, but after going back in my records this was not true. This company waited multiple days to contact me of an issue which they knew occurred. Obviously the price for flights goes up every day but if someone books a flight and receives a confirmation, they must honor the original price and not decide multiple days later that there will
be an increase. I believe this company is running a scam in which they offer flights at a low cost, wait for a customer to purchase and for prices for that flight to go up, and then force the customer to pay extra which they then pocket. This is absolutely disgusting of a company practice.

I would give 5 star to Eddy but I had to give a 4 star just because Ovago wasn't able to help me get an alternate flight for a cancelled one which in turn will make our family endure an 11 hour layover.

Ovago did a great job in hiring their customer service most of them, specifically Eddy, Arvin, John and Monica are very helpful. They make me feel at ease and know that they are always willing to help me although there's really nothing much they can do to resolve my problem since they are third party agents.

Avoid Ovago. This company turned a straightforward airline schedule change into an exhausting, circular mess—and repeatedly demonstrated that its support staff either could not understand the itinerary or could not be bothered to read the case history.

The issue was simple: my ticket had been disrupted and needed to be corrected so that my outbound itinerary was chronologically valid and matched my travel companion’s confirmed flights. Instead of addressing my reservation, Ovago repeatedly responded with irrelevant information about my companion’s ticket—even after I explicitly explained that his ticket was already settled and that mine was the one requiring action.

This wasn’t a complicated request. It required someone to:

1. Look at my ticket.
2. Recognize the schedule change.
3. Confirm that the replacement itinerary was actually possible.
4. Rebook me onto the correct flights.
5. Confirm that both travelers were aligned.

Ovago somehow failed at every step.

Their customer service appears designed to exhaust customers through canned responses, fragmented ownership, and endless misinterpretation until they simply give up. Every interaction created more confusion rather than resolving anything. I had to restate the same basic facts repeatedly, only to receive replies that made it clear the agent had not understood—or perhaps even read—what I wrote.

The most alarming part is that this involved international travel with connecting flights. A chronologically impossible or mismatched itinerary is not a minor inconvenience; it can strand a traveler overseas. Yet Ovago treated basic itinerary integrity like an abstract puzzle rather than the core responsibility of a travel agency.

Booking through Ovago added no value. It inserted an incompetent and unaccountable intermediary between me and the airline, turning a fixable disruption into hours of unnecessary stress. Any initial savings are meaningless when the company cannot reliably service the ticket it sold.

My advice: book directly with the airline. If anything changes, you will be profoundly grateful that Ovago is not standing between you and a solution.

Oliver, Ext 4792 was a great help. He was kind and very attentive to all of my needs. He also calls from time to time to check to see if I have everything I need for travel.

I had not heard of Ovago before but was looking for flight info for a trip to the UK. Oliver contacted me and was able to find a flight with the cost we wanted to pay for the round trip flight. Oliver was efficient and willing to work with me around my travel schedule. One of the things I liked best was being able to connect with him on my time schedule.

I will never ever again use Ovago. Avoid them like the plague. They have utterly destroyed my vacation and frankly, I don't believe that they actually booked any of my flights - their incompetence is astonishing. I have a complex set of flights to try to get to walk the Camino, and they have made errors for every single flight. First they put in that I need a wheelchair. WHAT!!!!! It took weeks to figure out that error but they did correct it. Then, they are unable to get me seats on any of the flights I paid for because they completely messed up confirmation codes; calling the airlines is no good because the airlines just point out that Ovago made all these mistakes. They booked one leg that actually leaves Chicago before i get to Chicago. They refuse to fix anything. I am a few days away from just throwing out the $2,000 they harged me and starting all over again and buying entirely new tickets because they are so utterly incompetent and have made such unbelievable errors. They are a scam.

Ovago did not honor their refund. They attempted it by using a credit refund on a debit card which inevitably came back to them. We've provided proof supported from our bank for 4 months going back and forth weekly and they consistently refuse to refund. Worse, at one point they made us literally send our entire transaction history to prove it and still denied it. It gets better. They stated what we sent was a "savings account" and because the funds settled on the 14th they stated that wasn't the transaction. So essentially they denied we submitted proof about the refund but declined to address the money that went to them out of savings with no transaction associated. Far from the only people to have refund issues. They use the same template messages over and over changing one or two sentences to just go down the rabbit hole until we decide to sue which we will be doing promptly.
