*Or it would be daily, if Our Narrator could bring herself to write more.

FAQ

Q. When does it start?
A. The first entry is on June 1. That’s when you’ll get the first email!

Q. When does it end?
A. The last entry is August 30.

Q. Is it actually daily?
A. Not till the end of the story. At first, Our Narrator’s going to spend some time writing once every two weeks or so.

Q. I thought there weren’t specific dates in this story?
A. There aren’t, except for one reference to July 4! And we also know the story takes place over three months during the summer. The rough timeline of events has been placed by lines such as it’s been two weeks since I last wrote, there’s one week left, etc. So the specific date that each entry is sent out has been picked arbitrarily.

Q. I didn’t sign up before the book club started. Is it too late to join?
A. You’re welcome to join at any time! You can catch up on earlier chapters here, in the archives.

Q. Who are you?
A. Yellow Wallpaper Daily is run by Sara Barkat, illustrator of The Yellow Wallpaper Graphic Novel, and creator of Jekyll & Hyde Weekly. The newsletter bookclub format is inspired by the incredible Dracula Daily; The Yellow Wallpaper is a short but creepy story, & I hope you’ll enjoy it!
