The TAP Miles&Go Programme is a Loyalty Programme for TAP Air Portugal Customers, which consists of assigning mileage credit based on flights taken with TAP and partner Airlines, or on services purchased from other Programme partners. A list of partner Airlines and Programme partners (collectively referred to as the “partners”) is available the website milesandgo.flytap.com (the “website”).

Joining TAP Miles&Go Programme is free.

Mileage credit is based on pre-established amounts and is granted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The Customer may accrue TAP Miles&Go Miles to use later on Award Tickets or on a wide range of services and benefits, in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.

Any changes to the TAP and TAP Miles&Go brands do not affect contracts previously entered into with Customers.

The values of Award Tickets within the TAP Miles&Go Programme are variable; that is, the number of miles required to issue Award Tickets varies according to supply and demand, seat availability, and advance purchase.

All information necessary for issuing Award Tickets — such as the required number of miles, available domestic and international destinations, flight dates and times and seat availability — can be found here on our website when searching for flights.

By accepting the TAP Miles&Go Programme Terms and Conditions, the Customer acknowledges that the programme does not use fixed pricing for Award Tickets. Prices will be updated on the Website in real time for the relevant date, flight and Airline.

These Terms and Conditions set out the basic rules for participation in the TAP Miles&Go Programme, which may be subject to change. This version of the TAP Miles&Go Programme Terms and Conditions is the current version and supersedes all information and content relating to the Terms and Conditions published on platforms other than the TAP website in connection with the Tap Miles&Go Programme. The Terms and Conditions of TAP’s digital presence, available here and TAP’s Conditions of Carriage, which can be found here, form an integral part of these terms wherever they do not conflict with them.

The Terms and Conditions, originally in Portuguese, are translated into English, French, Spanish and German. For all purposes, particularly for the interpretation of any issues, only the Portuguese version is binding.

Where expiry dates are mentioned for specific benefits or actions in the Programme, they will be considered as those applicable in mainland Portugal, unless otherwise stated for the respective action.

TAP may change the Terms and Conditions at any time without notice, provided that such changes are justified for particularly valid reasons. Reasons considered especially relevant and agreed between the parties include those arising from legal requirements that come into effect, economic reasons affecting TAP, and purely technical or safety issues. In other cases, any changes will be communicated through appropriate channels, with adequate notice given in each case. Any new rules and/or changes to the TAP Miles&Go Programme Terms and Conditions will become binding for all Customers, including TAP Miles&Go, TAP Miles&Go Silver, TAP Miles&Go Gold and Navigator, as soon as they are published on the TAP website.

In some countries, domestic legislation may impose restrictions on Customers and / or the TAP Miles&Go Programme Terms and Conditions. TAP, the administrator and the partners of the TAP Miles&Go Programme, as well as their suppliers, have the right to take any action deemed necessary to ensure compliance with such restrictions, and it cannot be attributed to them, to the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability for damages caused to Customers resulting from such actions.

Participation will be automatically terminated if the TAP Miles&Go Programme is discontinued, with prior notice or justification based on law or agreement. In particular, the Customer agrees that their participation may be terminated if the TAP Miles&Go Programme is discontinued for economic reasons affecting TAP, technical reasons, or safety issues.

TAP may terminate a Customer’s participation in the TAP Miles&Go Programme, with immediate effect, if the Customer:

1. Fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions and / or other rules and regulations incorporated herein by reference, provided such terms, rules and regulations have been duly and timely communicated. Without prejudice to any other rules or regulations, the rules for the use of and access to TAP Lounges (exclusive spaces offering comfort and privacy to relax or work while waiting for a flight) are incorporated into these Terms and Conditions;
2. Attempts to obtain benefits from the TAP Miles&Go Programme by presenting false, improper or abusive information. Customers presenting such information are responsible for any resulting damages, and miles obtained in this way through the TAP Miles&Go Programme will not be credited to the Customer’s Account;

7. Use of any robot, spider, software or other automated device, manual process, or routine that interferes with or attempts to interfere with the proper functioning of the website and the TAP Miles&Go Programme;
8. Any attempt to participate in the TAP Miles&Go Programme using automated methods, including but not limited to scripts, macros, or any other means that do not comply with the forms of manual interaction with the website set out in the Programme rules.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TAP may suspend TAP Miles&Go Programme Accounts for suspected fraud, without any penalty to TAP or its partners. If the suspicion is confirmed, the Customer’s Account will be cancelled from the TAP Miles&Go Programme, without prior notice, and their mileage balance, as well as any bookings made, will be voided, and the Customer may not re-enrol in or benefit from the TAP Miles&Go Programme.

Any of the following situations constitutes fraud:

The TAP Miles&Go Programme is a benefit offered by TAP to its Customers, and participation in it is optional. At their sole discretion, each Customer may terminate their participation in the TAP Miles&Go Programme by accessing their Personal Area and selecting the delete Account option. This present agreement of indeterminate duration will remain valid until the Account is deleted or the account holder’s participation is prohibited, in accordance with the cases described in these Terms and Conditions.

Cancellation of the Account, under the aforementioned terms, implies the loss of all earned miles and products or services purchased, and subsequent replacement of these miles is not possible.

With the cancellation of the account, the personal data contained within it will be anonymised, and this cancellation is irreversible.

For Accounts where the tax identification number is mandatory (in particular, in Brazil), this number will be retained for a period of three hundred and sixty-five (365) days after cancellation, notwithstanding the anonymisation of the other personal data.

Upon cancellation of a TAP Miles&Go Account, the Account holder will not be able to open a new account for the aforementioned period of three hundred and sixty-five (365) days.

Termination of participation due to death of the Account holder

1. In the event of the death of a TAP Miles&Go Account holder, certified by the submission of a death certificate, the Account will be closed, without prejudice to paragraph 14.5 of these Terms and Conditions [Account inactive for five (5) years].
2. Without prejudice to such termination, the valid TAP Miles&Go miles credited to the closed Account may be transferred, at no cost to the deceased account holder’s heirs, provided that, as required under applicable law, in each case:

• Such transfer is requested from TAP in writing, accompanied by a copy of the respective certificate of inheritance, together with the express identification of the TAP Miles&Go Account to which the miles are to be transferred and the name of its holder;
• In the event of co-heirs, as indicated in the certificate of inheritance, an agreement signed by all heirs must also be provided, declaring their consent to the transfer of the miles to the Account of the holder they have designated.

By joining the TAP Miles&Go Programme, Customers enter into a contractual relationship with TAP governed by these Terms and Conditions, which define the rights and obligations related to the Customer’s participation in the TAP Miles&Go Programme.

At the time of joining the Programme, each Customer is assigned a base Account (TAP Miles&Go Account) and a TAP Miles&Go Customer number, which will be used to identify them within the TAP Miles&Go Programme until their Account is cancelled.

Membership of the TAP Miles&Go Programme can be obtained by signing up using the membership form provided on the website or via the TAP Air Portugal mobile app. Enrolment with temporary emails will not be accepted.

If the email used in the enrolment process is identified as temporary or is not associated with an actual email account, enrolment in the Programme will not be completed.

Membership is open to all individuals over eighteen years of age who have read and accepted the TAP Miles&Go Programme Terms and Conditions.

Legal entities are not allowed to join the Programme. If a Customer who is a member of the TAP Miles&Go Programme travels for business purposes, the miles earned from business travel will be credited to the Customer’s account. The acceptance or waiver of the miles in question must be agreed upon by the TAP Miles&Go Customer and the respective employer, business, public body, or other entity responsible for scheduling and paying for the travel. If the entity in question does not want the TAP Miles&Go Customer to receive miles for travel undertaken for business purposes, it must negotiate directly with the Customer to have them waive the miles.

Individuals aged between for two (2) and eighteen (18) may be TAP Miles&Go Customers, provided that at least one legal guardian completes the application form to join the TAP Miles&Go Programme on behalf of the minor. The representatives of minors will be responsible for the Account and use of the minor’s card, and TAP, to the fullest extent permitted by law, will be exempt from any liability arising from the management of said account or use of the corresponding card.

Each Customer may only hold one TAP Miles&Go Account. Additionally, the same email address cannot be used on more than one account. Whenever duplicate accounts or emails are identified, they will be merged without prior notice.

The TAP Miles&Go Programme awards miles only to Customers holding a TAP Miles&Go Account, and TAP is not responsible for any agreements between its Customers and third parties, whether individuals or legal entities.

TAP Miles&Go Customers are only entitled to use the benefits of the TAP Miles&Go Program after their data has been properly registered in the TAP database.

Each Customer is responsible for the regular management and monitoring of their account, including both mileage credits and debits.

TAP Miles&Go Customers shall not make their personal Account number or password available to any third party, including family members, employees or co-workers.

The TAP Miles&Go Account holder is solely responsible for all acts, damages or omissions that occur on their personal account resulting from misuse of their access data.

TAP and the TAP Miles&Go Programme will use Customer account and membership data to better understand Customers. This allows us to create Customer profiles and offer campaigns, promotional coupons, benefits and products best suited to the individual Customer.

A Customer profile will be created and updated for each promotional action, taking into Account how often and in what way the Customer uses our website, in order to tailor TAP’s actions to the Customer’s interests.

For more information about how we process Customers’ personal data, please see articles 26 and 27 below.

It is not possible to transfer TAP Miles&Go Account or mileage balance to another Loyalty Programme.

TAP Miles&Go miles are the monetary unit of the TAP Miles&Go Programme. Bonus points or miles from other Programmes may not be converted into TAP Miles&Go Programme miles unless TAP has entered into an agreement with those Programmes.

Miles can be either Bonus or Status.

Bonus Miles can be earned:

1. on TAP flights;
2. on partner Airline flights;
3. campaigns;
4. TAP products and services (or those of designated partners).

Status Miles count towards achieving TAP Miles&Go Silver or TAP Miles&Go Gold status.

Status Miles are earned on TAP flights and on the flights of Star Alliance member airlines. In addition, some partnerships, products or campaigns may allow Customers to earn Status Miles.

On flights taken on TAP Miles&Go partner Airlines, only Bonus Miles are earned.

Only Bonus Miles can be used to issue Award Tickets, purchase products and services, or make redemptions with TAP Miles&Go Programme partners.

Access to TAP Miles&Go Programme benefits will only be granted upon presentation of the TAP Miles&Go Customer Card and / or Customer Number.

TAP Miles&Go, TAP Miles&Go Silver and TAP Miles&Go Gold Cards are only available in digital format.

All TAP Miles&Go Customers can access the digital version of their card via the TAP website or app, which is automatically updated according to their status.

Customers who achieve TAP Miles&Go Gold status may, during the first thirty (30) days, order the physical card without paying an additional fee. After this period there is a fee of twenty-five (25) euros.

When renewing TAP Miles&Go Gold status, a fee of twenty-five (25) euros applies for a physical card request.

All TAP Miles&Go Customers must have their digital card on their mobile phone so that they can be duly identified by TAP and its partners.

It is the responsibility of the Account holder to manage their card, whether digital or physical, and to use it properly.

The TAP Miles&Go card is personal and non-transferable and may not be used after its expiry date or after participation in the TAP Miles&Go Programme has ended.

Each Customer’s personal account can be accessed online, in their Personal Area, using a login and password.

The benefits granted to TAP Miles&Go Customers through the TAP Miles&Go Card cannot be combined with those of any other card from any other entity, including TAP Miles&Go Programme partners.

The TAP Miles&Go Programme base level is called TAP Miles&Go and is assigned at enrolment. The following levels are TAP Miles&Go Silver, TAP Miles&Go Gold and Navigator.

The annual earning period of Status Miles refers to the time the Customer has to qualify for a higher status or requalify current status. This period is linked to the date the Customer joined the Programme.

For example, if Programme membership started on 15 January 2025, the annual earning period for Status Miles ends on 31 January 2026. The new annual earning period for Status Miles will start on 1 February 2026.

To be eligible for TAP Miles&Go Silver status, the Customer must accrue thirty thousand (30.000) Status Miles or, alternatively, complete twenty-five (25) TAP flights flown, during the annual Status Miles accrual period. To maintain TAP Miles&Go Silver status, twenty thousand (20.000) Status Miles or fifteen (15) TAP flights flown are required, during the annual Status Miles accrual period.

To be eligible for TAP Miles&Go Gold status, the Customer must earn seventy thousand (70.000) Status Miles or, alternatively, complete fifty (50) TAP flights flown, during the annual Status Miles accrual period. To maintain TAP Miles&Go Gold status, the Customer needs fifty thousand (50.000) Status Miles or forty (40) TAP flights flown, during the annual Status Miles accrual period.

Customers who hold TAP Miles&Go Gold status through nomination, or Gold Partner, Gold Corporate, or through campaigns, renew their status by meeting the requirements described in "Become a Gold Customer” [seventy thousand (70.000) Status or fifty (50) TAP flights flown].

To be eligible for Navigator status, the Customer must accrue one hundred and twenty-five thousand (125.000) Status Miles or, alternatively, complete seventy (70) TAP flights flown, during the annual Status Miles accrual period. In both cases, ten (10) flights must be flown using Plus, Prime, Top Prime, Executive, or Top Executive fares, flights resulting from Upgrades are not counted towards this requirement. To maintain Navigator status, the Customer needs one hundred thousand (100.000) Status Miles or seventy (70) TAP flights flown. In both cases, ten (10) flights must be flown using Plus, Prime, Top Prime, Executive or Top Executive fares during the annual Status Miles accrual period, flights resulting from Upgrades are not counted towards this requirement.

Whenever flying with TAP, TAP Miles&Go Silver Customers, in addition to 25% Bonus Miles, also earn 25% Status Miles compared to the total miles flown.

TAP Miles&Go Gold and Navigator Customers earn 50% bonus Miles in addition to 50% status Miles based on the total miles flown.

For TAP Miles&Go Gold Customers who renew their status, the miles that were due to expire at the end of their annual earning period will be extended for an additional twelve (12) months, with the extension being applied to each of the Customer’s mileage expiry dates. This benefit does not apply to TAP Miles&Go Gold Customers who are Gold Partner.

For example, a TAP Miles&Go Gold Customer with an annual earning period of Status Miles ending on 30 September has twenty thousand (20.000) miles expiring on that date. On 1 October, they renew their status and the Bonus Miles remain valid for a new annual accrual period.

The assignment of TAP Miles&Go Silver, TAP Miles&Go Gold and Navigator status is automatic once the required number of Status Miles has been earned.

The mileage account statement indicates the number of Status Miles and Bonus Miles earned.

Only Status Miles count towards achieving TAP Miles&Go Silver, TAP Miles&Go Gold and Navigator status.

Bonus factors on all flights operated by TAP and TAP Express:

• Discount - 20%;
• Basic - 50% (intercontinental flights);
• Classic - 70% (Europe and North Africa) e 100% (intercontinental flights);
• Plus - 100% (Europe and North Africa) e 150% (intercontinental flights);
• Prime - 150% (intercontinental flights);
• Top Prime - 175% (intercontinental flights);

• Top Executive - 200% (Europe and North Africa and intercontinental flights).

The percentage is proportional to the distance flown in miles and varies depending on the TAP fare chosen.

Mileage accrual on charter flights (non-scheduled flights contracted for a specific group or purpose that operate outside regular timetables) is not permitted.

Mileage accrual is permitted on codeshare flights (flights operated under an agreement between two or more airlines sharing the same flight) with a TP flight number, (if operated by a TAP Miles&Go Programme partner airline).

Mileage accrual on bus, train or ship service is not permitted.

Mileage accrual or segment counting is not permitted on Award Tickets or on tickets in the ID, AD, BP, DG, DM, GE, IN, RG or UD categories (industry discount tickets), as defined by IATA standards.

TAP Miles&Go miles are credited in accordance with the rules of the operating carrier and can be found on the TAP website on the dedicated page for each TAP Miles&Go Programme partner Airline.

Miles accrued by using services provided by selected TAP Miles&Go Programme Partners are credited in accordance with the terms of booking, payment and use of services as defined by the TAP Miles&Go Programme partners.

Miles are not earned if a Customer of the TAP Miles&Go Programme receives benefits from another loyalty bonus programme for the service offered.

Miles cannot be accrued on Award Tickets.

The booking Class or fare shown on the ticket may not match the Class or fare used for mileage calculation on Star Alliance carriers and / or TAP Miles&Go Programme partner Airlines.

The TAP products Empty Side Seat and Extra Leg Room do not accrue mileage.

Once miles have been credited to the Customer’s Account, this is irreversible.

Carrying a pet also earns miles. Conditions can be found on the website here.

Each Customer has a personal TAP Miles&Go Account in which the miles they accrue or use will be credited or debited.

From the time of joining the TAP Miles&Go Programme, for each flight flown with TAP or a Programme partner Airline (except Award Tickets) or for using a service provided by TAP Miles&Go Programme partners, TAP Miles&Go Miles will be awarded to Programme Customers, subject to these Terms and Conditions. The request for credit must be requested no later than six (6) months after the corresponding provision of the service.

To ensure the correct number of miles are credited to your TAP Miles&Go personal Account, you must enter your TAP Miles&Go number when booking.

You must ensure that the name on the booking is the same as the name on your TAP Miles&Go Account (first and last name) so that the miles are automatically credited and the benefits can be identified. Any discrepancies in name or date of birth may result in the Customer not being able to receive some benefits.

If the Customer has activities for which miles were not credited, they may request the credit in relation to those miles up to six (6) months after the service was provided by accessing their Personal Area. If the activities were carried out before the date that membership started, only Bonus Miles will be calculated.
To claim miles for flights with Star Alliance, the Customer must wait eight (8) days after the date the flight was taken.

Miles will normally be credited to the Customer’s TAP Miles&Go Account within six (6) weeks of the flight or service being provided by partner Airlines. For TAP flights, credit is made within two (2) days of the date of travel. The expiry date of these miles will be determined based on the date of commencement of travel or services.

TAP is free to decide the type and number of miles to be credited by each Programme partner and for each service provided to Customer. The type and number of miles to be credited is subject to change without notice.

The miles credited to the personal Account of the TAP Miles&Go Customer are calculated as follows:

• They are only accrued on TAP flights and on select flights of TAP Miles&Go Programme partner Airlines;
• The number of miles to be credited is calculated according to the departure and arrival airports of the flight and the fare purchased. Distances will be based on the points of origin and destination stated on the Customer’s ticket and IATA standards;
• TAP Miles&Go Miles are awarded for travel in First, Business or Economy Class. TAP does not have First Class. However, some TAP Miles&Go Programme partner airlines do operate this service.

Mileage accrual on certain fares, products, flights or routes may be subject to restrictions.

Different booking Classes and bonus factors may apply to Star Alliance member airlines and other TAP Miles&Go Programme partner Airlines.

Flights in Economy Prime and Business resulting from Upgrades retain the mileage credit of the originally purchased fare and are not counted towards the ten (10) flights required to obtain and maintain Navigator status.

TAP and TAP Miles&Go partner Airlines reserve the right to exclude, in whole or in part, certain fare categories, and / or forms of payment, as well as certain flights or flight categories, from the TAP Miles&Go Programme at any time.

TAP Miles&Go miles are valid for three (3) years from the date of the activity, unless otherwise specified. Some Bonus Miles (such as compensation miles and some promotions) may only be valid for (1) one year.

The validity of miles is determined based on the date of the activity to which they relate.

It is the customer’s responsibility to monitor be aware of the expiry date of their miles.

Before the miles’ expiry date, the Customer may extend their validity by consulting the conditions of the Miles Store or joining the TAP Miles&Go Club.

Miles expire in the early hours of the first day of each month (based on mainland Portugal time) for all Customers whose miles expired on the last day of the previous month. For example, if the mileage expiry date is 31 May, the miles will expire in the early hours of 1 June. This process is not immediate; therefore, during the early hours of the first day of each month, the mileage balance on Accounts where miles are in the process of expiring, may not reflect, for a few hours, the updated balance and may still include miles that are in the process of expiring. For Customers with expired miles, the correct balance will be displayed from 7:00 a.m. (mainland Portugal time) on the first day of each month.

Current offers and benefits are available on the website, in standard communications, or through the TAP Miles&Go Customer Service, available on +351 211 234 400 hereinafter referred to as “TAP Miles&Go Customer Service”.

TAP reserves the right to amend, supplement, or cancel the individual benefits offered by the TAP Miles&Go Programme, in which case Customers will be informed with reasonable notice and given the option to terminate their contract.

Partner Airlines and TAP Miles&Go Programme partners will be able to set Terms and Conditions prior to booking benefits. These Terms and Conditions may vary depending on the benefit or award in question and are not dependent on TAP or the TAP Miles&Go Programme. The list of TAP Miles&Go Programme partners can be found here.

TAP accepts no liability, to the fullest extent permitted by law, for taxes or other charges to which TAP Miles&Go Programme Customers may be subject when using TAP Miles&Go Programme miles or benefits.

All fees (airport, carrier surcharge, security or otherwise) as well as any credit card fees will be the sole responsibility of the TAP Miles&Go Customer.

Any documentation obtained illegally or in contravention of these Terms and Conditions shall not be honoured.

Seat availability for Award Tickets varies depending on destination and flight date. The number of seats is limited even on flights that are not yet fully booked. Restrictions may apply during certain periods and for certain flights.

Award Tickets will expire one (1) year from the date of issuance, except Award Tickets issued as part of a promotion, which will only be valid during the promotion period. All other benefits will remain valid in accordance with the respective validity rules, as specified in the information contained in the issued document.

• For example, a ticket issued on 31 January 2025 is valid until 30 January 2026. Therefore, for a change requested on 4 March 2025, flights must be completed by 30 January 2026;
• For Award Tickets with restrictions under promotional actions and / or promotion codes: as these are specific to each promotional period, the rules are published on the website before and during the online booking process or are available through the TAP Miles&Go Customer Service.

Award Tickets and benefits may not be transferred, replaced, extended, changed or refunded unless explicitly stated otherwise in the individual booking provision, these Terms and Conditions, or the General Conditions of Carriage of TAP, the partner Airline, or the partner of the TAP Miles&Go Programme, as applicable. Where an Award Ticket or benefit can be replaced, extended or otherwise altered, such replacement, extension or alteration may be subject to a processing fee to be borne by the Customer.

A supplementary fee applies for ticket processing after a no-show boarding. You can consult the supplementary fee amount which can be found here.

Although non-transferable, Award Tickets may be issued to a third party at the request of the account holder. Such assignment is valid only if the account holder does not receive any monetary compensation in return.

Award Tickets and Upgrades with miles may be issued in the name of someone other than the TAP Miles&Go Account holder, subject to authorisation given by the respective account holder. Customers with TAP Miles&Go Gold or Navigator status are exempt from this authorisation.

Some partner airline cabins or booking Classes are not available for booking with miles.

• Lounge access;
• Last Minute Upgrade.

These benefits vary depending on the origin and destination of travel and are subject to change. TAP is responsible for providing the Customer with reasonable advance notice of any such change, and the Customer may, at any time, terminate the agreement by cancelling their Account.

The airport and travel benefits granted to the Customer under the TAP Miles&Go Programme statuses (TAP Miles&Go Silver, TAP Miles&Go Gold and Navigator) will be applied according to the status that is valid at the time of travel and not at the time of booking.

To ensure the benefits associated with the status are assigned, the Customer must enter their TAP Miles&Go number when booking.

TAP Miles&Go Gold and Navigator Customers enjoy an additional benefit, allowing them to nominate one person to share their TAP Miles&Go Gold status (Gold Partner). However, Customers who hold TAP Miles&Go Gold status in connection with promotional campaigns or actions may be subject to specific conditions, including restrictions on benefits normally provided for. Detailed information can be found in the Terms and Conditions of the campaigns themselves. The person chosen must be a TAP Miles&Go Customer with TAP Miles&Go or TAP Miles&Go Silver status.

Once this person has been appointed, they will have the exclusive benefits of a TAP Miles&Go Customer, with the exception of those listed below:

The Customer nominated as a Gold Partner cannot nominate another TAP Miles&Go Gold Customer as a Gold Partner and their Bonus Miles are not automatically extended, expiring at the end of their validity period. Also, they cannot request the Year Off benefit, which guarantees the maintenance of TAP Miles&Go Gold status if the Customer does not reach the required miles or segments.

The validity of their TAP Miles&Go Card is equal to the validity of the Gold or Navigator Card of the Customer who nominated them.

The Club TAP Miles&Go which can be found here is intended for Customers of the TAP Miles&Go Programme. This is a twelve (12) month plan that promotes the award of Bonus Miles, Status Miles, benefits and exclusive offers.

• Club purchase is non-reversible and non-refundable.
• To obtain your renewal bonus, you have thirty (30) days: fifteen (15) days before the end of the current Club TAP Miles&Go and fifteen (15) days after it ends.
• If the renewal occurs within fifteen (15) days before the current Club TAP Miles&Go expires, the new one will only be activated, along with its benefits, when the previous one ends. After the end of the previous Club TAP Miles&Go, the new Club TAP Miles&Go will be activated and the renewed miles will be credited.
  (For example, if Club TAP Miles&Go ends on 15 April 2025 and if the Club renewal was on 10 April 2025, the new Club acquired will be active from 16 April 2025).

The corresponding mileage amount will be debited from the TAP Miles&Go Account at the time of ticketing.

The corresponding mileage amount will be debited from the TAP Miles&Go Account at the time of ticketing.

All TAP Miles&Go Customers who book travel with miles through the TAP Miles&Go Customer Service and wish to issue tickets for someone other than themselves will be required to provide the Service Desk with a validation code, which will be sent during the booking process to the email address and / or mobile phone number associated with their account. Customers with TAP Miles&Go Gold or Navigator status are exempt from this procedure.

TAP is not responsible for the incorrect indication, use and / or sharing of contact details associated with TAP Miles&Go Customers’ Accounts.

The payment methods for tickets issued through the TAP Miles&Go Customer Service are those available at the time of payment.

You can only change flights in award bookings where the TAP Miles&Go Account is active.

Tickets will be issued upon confirmation of booking payment.

Award Tickets do not allow Upgrades except for Upgrades paid at Check-in, at the departure gate or through Upgrade Auction.

After issuing the Award Ticket it is not possible to change the itinerary of the original booking.

In the event of a change in date or flight number (time), the mileage amount may be adjusted (debited) if there is a change to a higher fare and / or Class.

Once an Award Ticket is issued for Business it cannot be altered for Economy.

In the case of a change to the flight or date, it is not possible to reimburse miles, so the original mileage amount is maintained, or the difference will be charged in the case of a higher fare. The amount to be charged will be calculated as the difference between the original ticket amount (already paid) and the amount associated with the date or flight change request, and will be presented to the Customer before the ticket is re-issued.

If the miles used for ticketing are expired at the time of rebooking, only the miles valid for the rebooking will be used. The mileage difference for rebooking must be covered by the TAP Miles&Go Account holder. The amount to be charged will be calculated as the difference between the original ticket amount (already paid) and the amount associated with the date or flight change request, and will be presented to the Customer before the ticket is re-issued.

Award Tickets are not eligible for TAP’s Portugal Stopover Programme.

Award Tickets only allow round-trip bookings, with a maximum of four (4) routes (segments).
